I’ve played this game many times and I’ve walked many walkthroughs but I’ve never seen anyone find that cubby lol. 2 extra health masks for mantis fight is awesome. Game changer
the worst part about this boss: There is no bench close. you have to make your way from queens station all the way back to the lords... i am trying for hours at this point. it is more walking back that actual fighting xD having the single boss down so far.. always failing at the 2guys... i am going crazy.. your video helped me a little! Thanks for that.
You go into mantis village through the top entrance via the queens station bench? No wonder it takes you so long! There’s a bench way closer then queens station, you just have to use the other entrance to the village. If you look at the map there’s a corridor between mantis village and the area to the right of it, that area being the long vertical chasm. It’s almost a perfect shape except for one spot of the map that’s empty void, it’s like someone cut out a slice of the map in the shape of a rectangle. In the area directly under the missing rectangle of space is a bench. From that bench you just need to platform your way up, avoiding any acid or enemies until you find the path to the left guarded by one of the tall mantis enemies. That leads into the village, and once you’re through that you just need to keep going left by jumping over the acid, and continue going left until you reach the giant pit. It’s easy once you’ve done it a few times, plus the enemies aren’t very hard to kill so you can top up on some soul on the way back to your ghost. There’s still more walking and platforming after each death than what is considered comfortable but it sure as hell beats walking all the way from queens station.

There is another attack on the second trial,; it's a boomerang which both of the manti lord's are on one side and one of them does a bottomed boomerang and the other does a top Boomerang. I always get caught off guard during it

I'm playing the game for the first time, and I'm at this point. I just don't think I can do it yet. You make it look so easy, but I panic. Can you fight them at any point in the game, or is there a point of no return? You have an incredibly relaxing voice btw. This is basically ASMR.

man the first time i fought them i got my ass beat, i just went there again with a nail upgraded two times, weaver song, level 2 grimm child, dream shield and beat them in first try

i got the mantis claw a different way so didnt fight the lords until i had my nail fully leveled and 7 lives, only took me three goes XD
I'm usually really good at these kind of games but this boss is taking the most attempts so far lol
Had a lot of success healing in phase two when they go for high boomerang, stand in the center of stage and heal and both miss you
So they disappear between attacks? I was trying to track their movements and thought I wasn't looking in the right spots for them.
I found that you can stand in the dead center during the double slow boomerang.
Yeah I think I procastinated way to hard on this fight, let's just say I have shade soul, dash slash, cyclone slash, crystal heart, isma's tear, beat fluke worm, have gotten to kingdoms edge, found the collosieum and beat the first one, got dream nail and also fully explored the resting grounds, etc.

I use cyclone slash. I jump up and cyclone slash as they come down.

I'm fully equipped, upgraded nail 3 times, 8 mask(10 with unbreakable heart), have defeated the hollow knight, yet struggled at this fight like- A lot.. The far bench from the arena isn't helping

I think this video deserves a lot more then it got. Not as easy as people think making these strategy videos and making it in a way that it’s easy for a player to repeat the process. Good job and thanks again for the great video man.
