  • Not having a ton of time this past weekend to take off on an overnight excursion we decided to stay close to home and explore our own backyard, Mt. Hood.
We're Jason and Denise and one of our absolute favorite things to do is explore the Pacific Northwest in our Land Cruiser 200 Series and our teardrop camper "Finn"
The Pacific Northwest has so much beauty around every turn and we're always blown away with what she has to show us.
We love sharing photos and experiences with family and friends who live far from us and this is how the channel began.
We hope you enjoy watching our adventures as much as we enjoy sharing them with you.

A suggestion. Microspikes by Kahoola. Or YakTrax. We use them all the time down here in Bend due to the often snowpacked and icy trails. We also use the NanoSpikes for when it is mostly ice. I keep them in our Land Cruiser all winter. (Yes, it is a white LC like yours!). Trillium Lake is very nice. Though in the summer it can be rather crowded. As for lack of snow and warm weather, it is crazy. But we just had a bit of snow come through Central Oregon so maybe some at Mt Hood? And, yeah, that snow covered "bridge" was crazy! A Reuben and Mac & Cheese & a Porter! Oh my. I'm drooling! LOL!

Awesome! Those are great suggestions! High five to Land Cruisers! LOL! Glad you enjoyed the video, that lunch was the perfect after hike meal. Hope we get more snow, it’s been way too warm. 🤞🏻

I love trillium lake. Haven't been in the snow yet because I don't wanna walk up that steep hill. LOL I'm so glad I got to see your adventure however. :) I wish you were able to see the mountain. 2 bad it was overcast, its a magnificent view!! I wanna go Kayaking up there again. (It's a very buggy lake however in the summer from my experience. Seriously, these flying things were landing on our arms every 10 seconds, it was nasty.) Thanks for this! So fun!!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. We went there in August 2019 and we walked around the lake but didn’t camp. I guess we were moving enough to keep bugs off of us. I was pretty bummed about not seeing the mountain, but we have have seen it before so it wasn’t a total loss. Well probably head back up in the spring on a clear day.
      Thanks for watching ❤️
