    The Survival Russia Channel is about "The Reality Of Survival". I live on a Homestead in far away Russian wild nature. Here is no room for "TV" Survival.
    Only Reality counts here. Survival Russia promotes the philosophy of always carrying equipment and never to be parted from equipment which will affect chances of Survival.
    So did the old timers and pioneers of both the East and the West.

    Thanks for all of your comments on various subjects (guns in Russia, unique types of trees, wolves, why you build different types of fires, etc. etc.) Great job. And thanks for politely disagreeing with all of the internet experts who tell you to do things differently. It is the joy that you express when out in the forest that makes your videos so compelling.

    I think this is what Americans call "quality time". Well, so often we see Mother Russia is depicted as a bully or actually a threat or bad boy in the World theatre but having spent most of my working career in Military Intelligence and being of Finnish blood i know this is actually bullshit. lol. It's just a part of the great Game we play. Don't pay mind to the propaganda, it is created in work shops all over the World, ours and theirs. Russians are good people and their leaders are ever so strong. I wish some times we had the same resource but with leadership that did not have to answer to Europe. Great vid brother. Cheers Moose.

    Hey Lars, 2 years ago a medium sized dog was 'snatched' by a Grey Wolf...in daytime in full view of it's owners. This was 20 miles outside of the small city in which I reside. Last year a man saved his dog during a fight between his dog and a Grey Wolf...tracks confirmed by MN DNR (Dept. of Natural Resources). This happened in a Park on the edge of town, in daytime, early morning. Respect.

    Freedom tree is a wonderful tree, ensures nothing that wants to make you their dinner succeeds in their agenda. The 7.62 mm fruits either in 54R or the 51 NATO works very well, as does the 223 (5.45 ) x 45 works very efficiently for just in case. Great video mate, bloody cold you have over there, here it's been 37-39 C last couple days at start of autumn here central western Australia,. Looking forward to part 2. Best regards from WA in Australia.

    when I take spruce bows, I will take and use the whole tree. however I take the ones that have the least chance of survival. those growing in bunches, I'll take the smaller ones or those that are being choked out by a larger one. those that are bent by snow, or damaged/ diseased etc... anytime I cut wood in the forest dry or green, I make sure that what I am doing will help the forest.

    14:00 what relfects the heat is the aluminium the heat is just light in the under part of the visible spectrum but gold silver and many metals reflect that light anyways, when you cover yourself with one space blanket it becomes really obvios that is doing something, im thinking of making sleeping bags with a thick outsidelayer an insolant and a metaly inner just to see cuz im very crusious haha. by the way the gold side reflects more heat, not by much, but something is something.

I have fired the 7.62 x 54R many times out of Moisens, a couple of times out of Dragonovs, and a "One-off" based on an RPD Receiver (HIGHLY MODIFIED BY A LICENSED MANUFACTURER!), and it's a very good round, but LOUD! I also fired a Friend's VEPR in 7.62 NATO. Very Nice! About the same recoil as a M-14. But since my Shoulders and Eyes are getting Old and Frail, I'm reduced to getting my Printers from the AR, SKS and M1 Carbine Trees. But they'll do the Job if necessary, that's for Dang Sure!

    Triple log fire we russian call NODIYA. I'm not affraid of the wolves when I'm in the woods, but what is scare me a lot is bear. Espeсially in early spring. Also if I'm not mistaken it's forbidden to carry a rifle in the forest this time of year here in Russia, because hunting season is closed! Lars may have got trouble if someone from hunting union would see him there with this gun. Why I know this? I called local authorities and asks about beeing in the forest with gun not for hunting, just for self defence. Answer was NO! This gun is not for self defence. This gun for hunting only! And If You (I'm talking my story) affraid going to woods without a gun, then You should stay at home! That was I'm exactly been told. This is nonsense, but it's true. Sorry for my english.

    • @1.forestrunner
      @1.forestrunner Před 6 lety

      Dmitry, here you can find advertisement offering wolf hunting in Russia to the end of March!? Looks like in some part of Russia hunting Wolf is permitted? What about if the person is on his/her private land? Your English is fine!

    • @dmitryledneff2267
      @dmitryledneff2267 Před 6 lety +2

      Well, wolf hunting may happen BUT! in one condition. Someone from hunting authorities must be there with all other crew. For example if only one man want to hunt down wolves with his own rifle and this man asks licence for one wolf (hunting season over) the answer will NO WAY. That was possible maybe 10 years ago but not now. I know it because I like to be in the woods in spring. Very much like to observe capercaillie in the mating dance. That spot located in the deep woods as usual and for safety reason I wanted carry with myself a shotgun while I'm backpacking for 3 days. But as I mention earlier above that is forbidden. I talk face to face with people who in charge from local ministry of hunting here in north west part of Russia. They said "we may give You a man from ministry with a gun (охотовед - it's like park ranger if I'm correct) and that person all time will be with You all days and nights while You filming capercaillie. You just need pay us money! Funny thing - filming wild nature this is my hobby and I've got no any budget for things like this. That's why I always carry hand flares and firecrackers. If You interesting You may watch this short my clip

      +Dmitry Ledneff That totally sucks Dmitry. I thought some of the rules where I live were stupid, but no self defense is unbelievably stupid. Those bears don't pay any taxes, your govt. should be protecting taxpayers, not bears. I'd check with another bureaucrat as some are highly impressed with their knowledge although they really don't know shit from apple butter until they spread it on their toast. Your English is fine.
