Ahah yes ! Well to be real i dont think alot of people will want to get this (especialy if they didnt grew up with polly) some people are jugemental a*shole's and thinks toys are only for children. Witch yeah maybe they were made for children but everyone can have them .
I had this as a child, still do and never knew it lit up. I feel like my sisters held out on me, not telling me that beautiful feature 😭
I never fully appreciated this as a kid because it was my sister's but now we can relive the magic!

I had this when I was a kid and it was one of my favorite sets that I treasured. It pained me to give it away to a thrift store as an adult. I wish that I had kept it now.

this was one of the last pockets I received as a kid...and truly one of my favorites
I had this as a kid, and I played with it for endless hours. Having to spend so much of my childhood in hospital beds, polly pockets were my favorite toys because I could actually bring them with me and play with them on the bed. I have no idea why they stopped making them, they were the most beautiful toys ever
I guess sales were dropping as more toy competition came in. But there are so many of us Polly fans out there that Mattel should just reboot the original ones!
Gorgeous I just had my sweet garden with statue from 1990 but it turned out that the walk in the garden was stuck at the bunnies. Seller did say it was okay yeah right. Disappointed... I feel ya

I just found this one in my storage that I used to have as a kid! I was so excited. The logo was missing so i want to see if I can buy another one The sea horses and the mermaids are missing. All I have is the dolphin but I was still super excited.

Also from an Asian family with a sister. My mom bought us a playset and said you need to share. So we didn't make a distinction between hers and mine. Also, I still kept many sets from our childhood and they have been well loved and well played with. I have this set but I lost a mermaid. Also my Polly doesn't bend in the middle. Too much paint I think.

Yes you can. On the bottom, there's a little compartment where the battery goes. You'll need a screwdriver to open it. :)

There's a compartment on the bottom of the book. Unscrew it with a screwdriver and you can replace the battery.
