I love this band, as a drummer I cant help but feel for the bassists carrying this band… screaming is hard but so is singing better than the screaming while also simultaneously playing the bass guitar

TeenieDTD ! I saw them here in the US in a festival setting and the crowd was exactly like this. First few rows were pumped but the rest were just standing waiting for whoever came after.

Found that band just some days before and I'm crazy bout them since there! Instantly booked some tickets to see them in WI...
I was there trying to jumping around but there was mud everywhere so the crowd is standing in the mud like almost ..knee deep mud..😅 so it was really hard to stay there :D i loved it and screamed with them but the weather was shit and @wacken theres not much metalcore fans sadly:) greetings from germany
I saw them 3 months ago, they were opening for Sum 41. Had no idea who they were. But fell in love with the band! Fan now

I promise Ahren is a sick vocalist (and Joel), in person he's insane its just not very well captured audio at this particular venue.
Ahren usually sounds good in most venues, but Joel is often not that loud in the mix.
Saw them a few months back and they sounded great. Joel better than Ahren but oh well
I second this! I saw them live at the Fillmore in Silver Spring Maryland on October 27th of last year and both Joel and Ahren sounded great! Ahren did sound tired though.
Joel often sounds bad live because he cups the mic. makes it really hard for sound engineers to make a decent mix without feedback. plus he propably holds the mic too close to his mouth, whe he sounds even more muffled. a lot of dynamic mics do that.

Ahrens mic is having difficulties. Ive seen these guys live so many times. I can tell you ahren is great live and sounds great. Also they might have been having an off day. Not every performance is going to be good.

Ahren usually always sounds good. Joel sounds great. I don’t get what’s not good about it. And he can scream whole verses, most core vocalist take breathes in between every 2 words. Joel killed it.
I think this was a sound staff/mixing issue. I’ve seen them play and Ahren killed it, so I think this was all due to tech issues, not band issues.

You also have to give him props for his endurance, basically an hour of songs with barely any breaks in between!

Richy Oathy yeah because his singing isn't anything special without the harmony if we're being honest. This is one of my favorite band's just for that reason though.

Its certainly for harmony but id say mainly because its a major contributor to their distinctive sound......oh, and his singing isnt itself autotuned but it gives that feel when his voice is heard with that track........cuz once again thats their studio sound.....oh and his voice is weak af bruh
