Repairing a broken glass window - remove and replace glass door window

Accidents happen, this is a video on how I fixed a glass window in a door in less than 1 hour for some $15 not including labor.
Working with glass could be dangerous, this video is for entertainment only. This is not a How-To or DIY (Do It Yourself) video, this is how I did it. This is dangerous and should not be attempted by untrained personnel.

Where do you get a new window insert?? I broke my outside pane if a 3 piece setup with a weed eater rock. 22x48

Any hardware store will sell and cut it for you, I also have a glass cutter ($1) and then you can cut it after buying the glass panel

@@dvbdvbdvb It's double pane with a decorative insert and the outside pane was tempered glass (3/4 light). How do you evacuate and seal it? A new insert panel is ~500 depending on the specs (24x50 to outside of frame)

@@bruceberens5727 well, I am not sure if 22x48 is a standard measure that you can buy off the shelf, double pane windows are another animal but you can still replace them, check for screws or nails holding together the main double pane window and get the actual/real measurement and check local window dealers if they just sell that part and you can install it, generally, labor will be about the same or more as the actual pane.

@@bruceberens5727 just to clarify, you cannot seal and vacuum the panel, you will need to buy that already done from the manufacturer especially if you need tempered glass since you cannot really cut tempered glass it will shatter into a thousand pieces.

bjnr the raccoon was in the attic, there was a contractor lowering the cage from the attic when this happened. The raccoon was later on released upstate.
