Unfortunately it didn't work for us. I think it's dead. As much as I hate to, because I really liked this one. It has a 3rd rack, on the bottom, for baking dishes & pot covers and they don't make them like that anymore . Well, it was worth a try. My husband even put on a new computer board. I guess, after all it's 23 years, it's had it's time and time for a new one.

I am looking to get a replacement duckbill grommet for a GE freezer drain, can anyone suggest where I could search? Also I could not exactly follow what you did in the video. I saw you pulled out the black duckbill but then what was the white thing you pushed in first? Before you pushed in the replacement duckbill?

Ribbon cable = common failure. The ribbon cable can be removed from the button control also. It’s just adhered in. I found a type “b” 18 pin 1.25 pitch ribbon cable for $6 on eBay and it repaired mine. Maytag will b.s. you on the phone and say you need the whole unit.

As a contractor, I would not get paid to do the job the way you did. The square sander should only be used with a final grit to buff the flooring. Thea palm sander is a joke. You didn't remove any of the scratches and dents from your flooring (which would need a belt sander and an edger, and a lot more sanding paper and work) It was a cheap job with a cheap result. For all homeowners, you can do it yourself but you will not get professional results.

What if I skip the sanding and go straight to repainting?
