I swear every time I play zoroark or other fast paced characters, there's always a umbreon with mean look or clefable with gravity in the opposing team, it's so freaking annoying
You can counter mean lock with illusion you need good practice
just like playing garchomp and having atales ALWAYS as your enemy lane
Yeah I do use illusion for mean look and full heal for gravity
Useful but if timing is not right then I am pretty much dead

It wasn't a ridiculous statement. It was the truth. If I see a defender, I'm expecting a defender, NOT an "all-rounder" disguised as a defender.
@@closeenough1343 the argument was that, because of Chris' battle item recommendations, they would lose the game. What about the players skill level, motivation, and constantly adapting to the demands of the situation at hand. We can talk about a defender playing his role, but that negates all these factors that I just listed. Factors that are more important than making sure your team mates know that you are 100% a defender. I would argue, having fun, will bring out the best in that player.
I can’t tell you how happy I am that you addressed it’s not the build, but the user. 100% skill issue. It’s insane how many people are bad at this game and simply refuse to think they’re the problem at all.
I feel like most of em are narcissists at this point
It's not like league or dota where dying directly affects the economy and it's not like being one or two levels down is a massive issue so yes I'd say it's a skill issue.

foul play gives umbreon that brawler edge that i think is very unique for a defender and personally thats why i think umbreon is the best defender in the game currently
Ohh hunny he’s far from the best, very fun and pretty viable, but nowhere near as strong as he used to be
For solo queue I feel like I can do the most with Unbreon and Lapras. I give the edge to Lapras cuz it’s unite is one of the only moves that pretty much garuantees to catch the high level backline and can get your more xp.

I've been running cookie, buddy, and guard with slow smoke on this build, and i still somehow outdamage my teammates

yes
For me personally focus band feels better, doesn’t feel like the shield does a whole lot by itself, but that’s just my opinion🤷🏻♂️. Run both on Umbreon or Slownro though and you are almost unkillable 😂

Is it just me or every time Cris has a game with a supporter I cant take it seriously. Like this is cool and all but how does it look with the extra healing around, because 25-30% of the time the supporter isn’t there in solo queue. At least in my experience

Love love love this build. This is my go to build for umbreon and it’s so comfy if you manage to get full stacks early in the game.

I don't know why people are saying the build is bad. It's actually a solid build. They said rocky helmet is bad meanwhile assault vest exists. Rocky helmet helps against all pokemon and more specifically helps against two classes of Pokémon; attackers and all rounders. Assualt vest ONLY blocks special damage, and THATS IT. So Assault vest is DEFINITELY without a doubt THE worst item in the game.

how are builds like this, ass??? Umbreon brawls very well and has high endurane, stcks scale decently and guardis just op in defenders. I belive its obvious that this is a high risk high reward build not suited for everyone, no stacks is basicaly runing 1 item. Then resort to calling people kermits? Some people are horrendous. This build is fire, Umbri is my highes wr defender playing double stacking items and a flex.
