because in the past animal crossing games, they would be sad because you can delete your town from the game by talking to them, but talking to tom nook is different because you can't just delete it from acnh itsel, you have to go to home menu, click option that and that. But in the past ac games, they would explain what would SPECIFICALLY happen because children may not be aware

i think in New Leaf after the Welcome Amiibo update, deletion was changed to where you would get bells from Tom Nook after he judged the price of your town, which would be sent to your new save.
