- What type of animal crossing player are you? I think I'm Escapist and Artist. Also, I know people are going to be so upset about Quillson, but I just don't like him! I feel bad for bullying the little duck but I tried just straight up ignoring him for 2 months and 2 other villagers moved out before him.
I wanted to say "There's no right or wrong way to play the game. As long as you have fun and don't scam people." But I recorded 30 videos of myself trying to do the outro and thought my mouth looked weird while talking and totally forgot.

diva was one of my starting villagers. she’s so charming and she was force moved out when I got a goldie amiibo . i tried restarting the game so goldie would replace someone else but nothing worked. i miss her so much 😭 totally a “good neighbor” player

Definitely mostly the Escapist, though I haven't played regularly in over a year. Had some elements of all the rest though. I had themed rooms like an Artist, talked at least _once_ a day with everyone on the island like a Good Neighbor, maintained a full wardrobe like an Aesthetic, and maintained an orchard and meager Stalk Market trade like the Hustler. Favorite villagers included Beau and Audie (yes I had both of them, along with Bob!) and my first neighbors.

Honestly same, except I would be considered the Catalog Nut instead. I have to BUY ALL THE THINGS AT LEAST ONCE, and have half my island covered in dropped items because my storage is full. ~E~v~e~n~t~u~a~l~l~y~ I'll get around to selling off the ones I don't need, and I've already catalog-checked for "unsellable" items (seasonals, event swag, etc)...

I turned on my game yesterday and had a slight panic attack, wondering what I'd just done. But I have a vision... right now my island is back down to 2 stars but... vision... *cries

@@abbyc1939 Well, my island currently looks terrible but I'm nearing the end of the demolition, which is great because the game is basically unplayable right now. I've been stuck at 3 stars since I reached the credits and with so many weeds, sticks, and stairs that lead to nowhere I was afraid to see my island eval. I assumed it had dropped. Ended up checking it out of a sick sense of curiosity.
I now have a 4 star island. I'm pretty sure Isabelle has terrible taste when it comes to design. 😅 She said it's great, I just need to decorate.

You forgot the player who goes way overboard with time travelling. Personally, I solve all my problems by changing the date. You get so much more money trees, fruits, and interesting items at nooks and crannys and able sisters. You also get to see Redd a lot more often. I'm currently in October 2023 in my game and I have no regrets.
The only time I time travell is when I'm trying to get redd/wait for something from the nookstop

i don’t play New Horizons but the Good Neighbor is definitely me when I played New Leaf. The ones who moved in first in my town are my favorites lmaooo, and my top favorite of all time is Cube who was my favorite character out of the first people who moved in.

I'm the same!!! But how I got inspiration is by watching island tour videos as well as design tips and trick videos!!! Also helps to look on pinterest for island design ideas. Or reddit is a good place to get more ideas rolling. I've been playing for about 3 months now and have only JUST started building my island within this month and its still nowhere near ready! In my house the main room is completely full with items and my storage is full too. I have half of my island where I collect rare fish and just put them there. You can only get around through 1 block wide passages. The villagers complain about it being crowded. Never sells items.

You should do another one with the Dictator player. Me, being one, can tell you what they are like. They see the other villagers as pawns, likely calling them Peasants. Flag is most likely hammer and sickle. Walls are a necessity. They move the houses of the Peasants onto one mainland, with their own separated by a river. Shops and museum are on the opposite side of the island. They probably have only one favorite villager which they consider their god. That certain villager might have their house next to the Dictator, separated from the Peasants. The Peasants likely don't have any trees on their side of the river. And that's the Dictator. Of course, you probably won't see this comment as it is one of thousands. But if you are reading this, thanks.
Edit: Something is happening. I no longer look down upon the villagers. Instead, I see them as friends. I’ve taken down the walls and am even considering moving the shops back. Is this what compassion feels like?

Lol I'm literally all of these I play this game basically every day and I have a specific routine I follow every time: 1. Collect my mail and (since its always at least a music record) put it in my house. 2. Pick all of my vegies from my garden then water them. 3. Collect all seashells and fossils I find and give all I can to blathers then sell the rest usually along with the vegies. 3. Since I'm already in nook's cranny I check what they got in stock and buy anything I'm interested in. 4. I go to able sisters and buy anything I'm interested in. 5. I talk to all the villagers at least once and do anything they need for them. 6. I look for any special people (like Flick or Cj) and I interact with them if they're there. 7.i spend the next maybe hour either fishing or diving for sea creatures (catching any new bugs the way as well as return missing items or things along that line that I find along the way) and give anything I can to blathers and sell the rest. 8. Sometimes if I wanna spice it up I'll work on decorating the island or improve the infrastructure with the huge amount of furniture and bells (sarcasm) I have or I'll find a cute accessory that I have nothing to pair with so I'll make a custom clothing piece to match.

Not to be mean to the guy, but it’s animal crossing. It’s not that hard to click a few buttons to open up your island.
I always say "tips no necessary but appreciated" and people supprised me with the tips. I see why.
The whole point of a TIP is a little extra as thanks for exceptional service. If someone expects a tip they don't deserve it imo.
If the tip is supposed to be mandatory then just add it to the price of what you're selling lol

I would always leave a tip. Thank god for the generous souls who didn’t ask for anything. I gave them 100k tip usually.
