Yes, I'm going to jump on that remark, "how good they sound live.". Exactly! No one like them before or since.
If any one of them were missing it would not be Led zeppelin! Nobody comes close to Zeppelin...especially live!!
The Doors live?
Rock Stars.
Oooohhh Robert ❤❤❤❤
i know right
The all time GOATS! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the Led Zeppelin ❤
& Course **Robert Plant** is just **WoW** & just **ALL** of them as ya said **Electrified** **Mesmerized** & they just always put me in a **Trance**
Listen to all the live songs. The studio recordings are good but, the live concerts showcase their talents Great reaction
I agree..glad you you enjoyed this..thank you for tuning in
To your credit, Philip, a tremendous legendary performance. Enshrined forever in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in Cleveland, Ohio as the icons they truly are to this day!
What a great review of my favorite Led Zep song. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Pure chemistry
Holy s**t, this is going to be a ride! Hanging on for dear life!!!
There's no denying, Philip, that Jimmy Page is as a guitarist, is a force of nature. Such a huge part of this incredible and amazing band!
They each were! They would not be Led Zeppelin without any one of them missing!
Match that you rappers the greatest band that ever walked planet earth led zeppelin Allahu akbar God is the greatest
Jimmy Page!!! One of the greats of all time!!!
ROBERT'S VOICE IS THE 4TH INSTRUMENT
Love the 70s
Don’t forget they started in 1968 with their self titled release. Not to mention the rest of the legendary 60’s (mid to late that is!)
OK so I'm going to get over myself with Zeppelin and see a legendary performance at Madison Square Garden in its heyday! Why not! Worth it just to see Jimmy Page alone. Bonhomme may be Ringo Starr's big brother? Best rock drummer of all time? This will be interesting. Thanks Philip for your bold selection decision here!
YAY!!! **MyJimmyPageMagicalGeniusWizardBabe** just doin his **Wizard** thing man **YUM** **SexaaayAF**
As a teen I worked at a restaurant across the street from a movie theater that would play this at occasionally at midnight showing. I would watch when I could. I was 16. Good times
Yes on Jimmy Page as one of the greats. Not knowledgeable about Jimi Hendrix, but I'd have to have learned about Jimi before I could decide was one clearly better than the other? This performance is as good a lead guitar performance as I've ever seen. Mightily impressed every time with this band that I see or hear music from them, and the Jimmy Page contribution to their sound was an amazing show all by itself.
They, like the Beatles before them, are definitely a "four-headed monster" as a band. If you take any one of them, Bonhomme, Jones, Page or Plante out of the lineup, it's not the same group. And now I'm about to be taken to school in the art of live performance!!!
That’s why when Bonham passed away, the band split up. They all knew all along, if any one of them quit or passed away that was it.
Watch Dazed and confused live 1973 at msg...FULL song. 28 minutes of Jimmy Page ON FIRE!! You will never see anything else like it ever!!
Thanks Julie for the suggestion. going to check it out asap. should be on the channel soon. stay tuned
Unfortunately there's only the audio version left of Dazed and confused MSG 1973 on CZcams. Fortunately The song remains the the same -DVD is available where you can witness the greatest performance ever and the whole finess. 🎶🎵
@@PhiliminizzyReactsyou can find a long version, I can’t think of the guys name, but he’s been cleaning up some of the lives. Just do a CZcams search, & you’ll find several videos, his is like 35 minutes. It’s just the live performance, it’s not his reaction video, amazing watching & hearing Page play using a violin bow.
Right, Philip. Does it get any better than that?
Their first 2 albums are mostly Blues Rock, with the other albums each having some too. I’d say try the studio of each you do, then the lives, & see the difference. EVERYTHING they do is amazing, you might find a couple not your favorites, but you certainly won’t hate them. I can’t remember the guys name, but he posted a long version of Dazed & Confused, it’s about 35 minutes long. He doesn’t react, it’s just the live version, sadly the official CZcams one was taken down. Just search on CZcams search, you might need to skim through kinda far down. I think you’d love at Earls Court the May 25,1975 version of, In My Time Of Dying, it’s mind blowing. Also these 2 only studio, no lives, You Shook Me & Tea For One. Thanks for your reaction. I found the name of that guy Dario Romero, or at least close to that name.
Listen to The Lemon Song from the LZ 2 album.
sure thing.. i will do the right now..should be on the channel asap
Looks like the Jimmy Page show at this point, but what your ear loses touch with, at first before you notice it, is John Bonhomme's incredibly creative drumming in the background. I wasn't kidding when I said he was (died 1980) was Ringo Starr's "big brother" on the drums. To me, Bonhomme is arguable at least one of the best rock drummers of all time.
Not one of, he is the greatest drummer, & Ringo doesn’t even come close.
Interesting. The bass player, John Paul Jones, is on keyboards in this song. No bass? I guess they know what's best for the song, it sounds great and monumental. Good stuff. Can't go wrong with Zeppelin! Known for their legendary performances, I lived through that period as a mid to late teenaged boy. My sisters, especially Rita were really into Zeppelin, it was the party music of the time!
JPJ can play keyboards & bass at the same time, he uses the foot peddles for bass.
@@sicotshit7068 wow, that's amazing!
Yes, bro, always, better live...Those bands, in that era, Led Zep, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, etc....Always better live....And, better if you can see them on videos😂But, on youtube, there are not a lot of good live versions, not good videos, always the same 5 or 6 songs😢I like your reactions...Try to find videos or records not on that shit youtube....Just for yourself...Peace from France bro ✌️👍
