Gorgeous bicycle! Well done. Enjoy every mile with a big smile. Love the Aftershokz too. Easily charged and no hassle operation. Simple. It’s part of my Pain Cave equipment.
Awesome build! Looks nice.
I had a Neo Primato back in 1992, white with record groupset. Great riding frame, super smooth and great tracking thru fast turns downhill.
There is a certain joy in riding a steel bike with classic racing geometry. It’s smooth as silk and slick as butter. Nice build.
Thanks mate. Agree. It also looks 🔥
It's really nice to see and to listen you (& your bike).
So classy yet modern. Beautiful build!
Great choice! I have a Merckx MX Leader. The choice came down to one of the beautiful Neo Primato 90s. Enjoy all your riding
Beautiful bike and great review! Steel bikes are very much in vogue now as people discover the awesome ride feel.👍🏾
This bike is absolutely amazing!!! Fantastic job brother 👍❤️
Beautiful build, impressive architecture, helmetless cruise. Love to see it!
Love this channel. The scale of Moscow is overwhelming..Nice bike skills. The accent had me thinking, Czech or something. Quite a few Russians settling here in the Dublin region. Russian language spoken here appears to be kinda of a Lingua franca between the various nations of eastern Europe. Where English language isn't great then Russian pops out of the mouths. Pretty interesting. Not quite more Irish than the Irish themselves, but getting there. Children are though. Ireland's gain. Hope this channel grows. Great communication skills on display here. Slainte 💚
thanks, Greg :) I’ve been to Dublin and really loved the city!
That's a nice bike. I really like the colours. I'm fixing up my 25 year-old steel bike. It's not in very good shape, but I can't wait to ride it again. Thank-you for sharing.
Thanks, Tanner. Steel bikes ride really well!
I have the same rims on my 2002 Lightspeed Ultimate. Laced to mavic hubs. Love the wheels. The ride is so comfortable I sold my two carbon bikes
Nice skills on the bike! Very impressive! Looks like you have a background in track cycling with that perfect handling of the bike.
Thanks. Background is in trials riding :)
the bike is really lovely!! Regards from Argentina and great channel!
Thanks, mate
Stunning build bro.
Beautiful bike!
Great build and video. Ride safe👍
Very nice bike, nice mix of old school and new, thinking about going back to steel myself 👍🇬🇧
Thanks Julian
Beautiful bike, and feather light ( for steel )
Absolutely beautiful! 🚴🏼🚴🏼
Beautiful bike brother!
Beautiful!
A De Rosa is like a diamond...is forever!
I love the De Rosa brand.
I have an aluminum Vision with carbon fork. 8kg.
Yes Totally agree✌️ i go with a De Rosa Vega, and a 3-THL ❤️🇮🇹❤️
Nice! I have a similar steel set up I put together in 2012. I bought a 2011 Raleigh International frame and fork. I set it up with Campy Athena and some Alu wheels. Topped it off with a Brooks B-17. It’s awesome for long rides down country roads.
Nice. I had Campy Athena on this bike too before.
@@TwistedWheels I chose Athena for, I think, the same reason. My Raleigh frame is made with Reynolds 853 and the lugs, seat stays, chain stays and forks are chrome plated and the main tubes are black. The polished aluminum Athena group was just a sweet match from an aesthetic view point.
I built up a Pinarello Cadore with the same rims, just in satin, on Dura Ace 7700 hubs (drilled out the front from 12 to 24h), rest of the groupset is 7700 with 7800 for the brifters. Had to bend the brake calipers open 4 mm to fit the 28 mm OD rims :S
very beautiful bike indeed
Beautiful ride
Thanks 🙏🏼
I would snag your bike over any carbon frame anytime! THAT is one gorgeous set-up! I bought a De Rosa Replica 1957 in 1996, all Ultegra, with "Speciale" Columbus tubing, fully and beautifully lugged much like yours....I could ride that bike all day and then some.....Actually rode it in the Denver - Aspen one day challenge - 202 miles, 13K+ vertical.....the start at 0300 hours, finish at about 16:30 hours. 60 insane guys and gals just going from one fill station to the next...however far apart....if you remind yourself how far you are actually going that day - not good. You just chunk it out and before you know it, you are climbing Independence Pass and then down into Aspen. Epic, soul bending (defining) ride. Those beers and that pizza NEVER tasted better. Love Love Love that bike! Rumor has it that Ugo himself built those Replica frames, just out of the passion he had for those classic times. Italian lugged steel = LOVE!
Thanks, Dean. There is definitely something in these frames.
And wow 202 miles with 13K+ elevation - that is impressive!
Nice steel bike and cool bike skills👌
Thanks mate
Like the bike verry much !
I just saw your video .the wine part was funny .
Beautiful steel bike.
Thanks Edwin👍🏼
English. Both are pretty good!!)
Nice bike sir.
Lovely bike.
Thanks! 😄
De Rosa my most fav brand.
Totally agree! I go with a Vega and a 3-THL
@@HOTON only.have the Idol 2015.
The headphones look great
Beautiful. I have the same dilemma of trying to keep silver components. Btw, you can still source new Campagnolo silver skeleton brakes, which are more refined than Planet X.
May I ask if you run 11s with this 10s record derailleur. Did you change some parts like the cage?
Awesome video, great bike. Did you do anything to rust proof, like spray frame saver or other compound? Thanks
Thanks! No I didn’t do anything like that, but i probably should.
Set up on the De Rosa looks classy and modern. Did you visit Triton cycles while in Moscow? Do you still have family in Russia? How do you like living in the UK? Keep up the awesome vids.
Hi Paul, Triton has now moved to Sochi, so I didn’t visit them. I still have family in Russia. UK is great, especially for someone who likes cycling and bikes in general.
Nice Steel build man. What was the mm of the first set of wheels you had on your bike before the 46mm? ( Light Bicycles are good) and managed to get it at 7.7 kg is amazing.. Greetings from Curaçao 🇨🇼
Thanks mate. I had 35mm before.
Hello everyone, please can someone help me with more information about the rear hub he used and where i can buy it 🙏❤

Hey, thats an awesome build. Wanted to ask, the stem has a adapter that goes in the fork or, the fork is high enough for modern stem?
It’s a standard 1” to 1 1/8” adapter.
Hello friend, congratulations on the bike. I also have a bike De rosa, please I would like you to help me with photos of that bike, I want to modify mine myself. Please. 😥
❤️
muinto top
no quill stem?? whaaat
What's your height?
My carbon bike 2005 is 8.5 kg

great bike. does it only realy weight 7.7 kg?
Have you not seen the scales in the video? 😄
@@TwistedWheels of course, I saw you weight your bike 😃.
What AfterShokz's model ?
Aeropex
Sora
You obviously are a stickler for details. That bike shows it. Might I offer a what I think is a great tip. To finish the handlebar wrap instead of black plastic tape get some wax thread or twine some call it. LEH leather products has a video on how to wrap the twine and believe me it works great. You don't have to buy wax twine from LEH. You can get this in any color online. I have used this method for years. I got sick and tired of finishing off the bar wrap with tape and the tape always comes lose or moves and them looks ugly. The twine once wrapped won't come off until you cut it off.
Thanks for the advice. I have never had issues with the tape, but if I decide to build a fully classic bike, then looks like twine is the way to go 👍🏼
that is a nice looking bike

Sorry to write, but this is just wrong - too many different colours and materials.
I can’t please everyone 🤷🏻♂️
Well, i think you chose to get a Very personal take on this bike. I really enjoyed how you showed the different colour schemes you’ve had over the years👍
I love Moscow. So sad that bad people started war against brothers Ukraine😢
Absolutely. What’s happening now is horrible and I am hoping that it will end soon 🙏🏼
