3. Go fishing good source of food, armor, weapons, and enhancements.

And baron also here’s a tip you should search the oceans for more shipwrecks they are very useful and can even have treasure maps
There are drowneds in the ocean (drowning zombie's)

Some advice for the long run is plant tons of sugarcane you'll need it for paper which you'll use for books and bookcases for enchanting. Youll need leather to make those books so you will need leather from cows so a cow farm is key because it also provides food and the reason enchanting is so important is fortune 3 when mining diamonds and some other useful ones like mending and silk touch. Sorry for this being so long I could go on and on with minecraft tips. Please play more of this btw!
Baron, you can make shields with iron and wood. They can block arrows.

Baron here is a tip !
If you kill a ship they drop wool and meat, you need 3 wool and 3 wood to make a bed which is very important! you can sleep through the nights (it makes you skip the night basically, and it makes you spawn where you slept. unless you break the bed but you can just sleep in it again.) When you kill a sheep it only drops 1 wool so you should make sheers and cut the wool off which gives you 2-3.

BARON! here is a tip my friend :D
Place torches all around your island and in the Cave you found, so mobs wont spawn and kill you. you might wanna place some around your house, you dont want any creepers blowing it up.
Hey Baron, if you see some gray dudes with crossbows making HARR noises, don't approach them without a shield. Those are Pillagers, a type of Illager, and if you kill the guy with the banner, they give you a Bad Omen for 100 minutes. If you enter a village with Bad Omen, a raid will start, which gets RIDICULOUSLY strong on Hard difficulty (but there's good loot).

ok so ik everyone made lots of tips but im doing this to help compress them all into one comment.
1. make a shield, it can block arrows and melee attacks. 2. the shipwrecks have decent loot and some treasures in them. 3. minecraft has a new swimming mechanic where you have to sprint in water so you you can swim much faster. 4. light up the islands to prevent mobs from spawning 5. if you light up your island it can help make it safer so you can prioritize pickaxes and other tools over armor and weapons with the few resources you have right now. 6. both creepers and spiders stay alive in the sunlight, but while spiders will become neutral in the day, like zombie pigmen creepers will always be hostile. 7. you can breed sheep and cows with wheat, chickens with seeds, and pigs with carrots. 8. try to destroy any trees and overhanging blocks because mobs can hide under them during the daytime to avoid burning. 9. you can make 2 special furnaces, the smoker and the blast furnace, the smoker cooks food faster but can only cook food and the blast furnace can smelt ores faster but can only smelt ores
Two things I would be happy if this became a series. Two, you can make campfires, with this you can cook food without fuel but it takes a little bit more time to cook foods
You must start mining for gold, diamond,emerald and redstone if you want survive on that island Baron.

I hope that this actually becomes a series. BTW, the underwater lights might be underwater ruins. Decent loot, but they look kinda deep. I'd use the underwater door trick to get to them. Or, you could wait until you can find/buy/make a Water Breathing potion.

We've gone through worse
Turtles are very useful and can be used to make a turtle helmet this is how
1st Get sea grass with shears and breed the turtles, they will only lay eggs around where they spawned so if they don't lay at 1st that's OK.
2nd When they lay put a large pen around the eggs to protect them, zombies will trample them and they will break if you try and break them.
3rd When they hatch watch them close (zombies will still try to attack them) and when they grow up they will produce scutes!
4th breed the turtles until you can make a helmet from the scutes, this helmet is like an iron helmet, but it will give you 10 seconds of water breathing to help with looting ships, ruins and hunting drowned (the gargling guys) for tridents.
I hope this is helpful to you and any new players.
I have to be honest tho, i love baron's approach to the game. It reminds me of the nostalgia i had when i started playing mc again

The Crafting Table was originally called the workbench, and its possible Baron played the game previously in his life and he is returning to the game.

Baron. Get a zombie villager, make a potion of weakness, and a golden apple, throw it at the zombie, feed him the apple, and do that twice. Give them tons of carrots, they’ll breed. Make sure they are safe, and watch silentwispers iron farm tutorial. Make that, and you can mine A lot less

Baron you need to keep the hunger bar as full as possible. Don’t waste food on just one or two hunger things tho. You only regenerate health(hearts not starts lol) with about full hunger. Jumping running and mining will deplete hunger. Don’t forget to use a hoe to get a farm and plant the carrots. Carrots are better than bread btw

Creepers don't die from sunlight, they can survive in the day. just like spiders but spiders dont attack in the die unlike creepers, the only time a spider attacks in the day is when you hit the spider first.

and... yea, if you need stuff to use to cook things with, get kelp from the sea, then use your charcoal to cook alot up, then craft it into a block... dried kelp block can smelt 20 items instead of 7/8 with coal and charcoal.

Make your two furnaces into a blast furnace that smelts ores 2 times faster and a smoker that cooks food 2 times faster.

1:you can bread sea turtle's by breading them sea grass and you will get a scute you can craft a helmet with it so you can breath under water
2:make your house a little big and a little coller to so your house be defensive
3:make your farm big so you can

hey baron here's another tip to create glass you must have sand and coal and smellt it in your furnace
Major advise: craft a shield when going mining, a shield is a must when going mining because it blocks skeleton's arrows
