You know it!!
Yes you do
YO, SATOSHI GEKKOUGA?!?!
GEKKOUGA
Nobody says it better than u Zac
The Alola team was awesome. You're right on the fact that none of them was bad. Melmetal's personality was adorable, even after evolving. So I would've put Naganadel in the least best position (even though it also kept its personality after evolving).
Me,the worst Alola team member imo is *Rowlet*
Not only did he never evolve which I've grown sick of at this point but I HATE his lazy personality. Especially when it comes to battling
@@eljordinio7647 cap Rowlet has better feats than most of the Alola team, id say naganadel or melmetal are the weakest
@@Therealsmithaz aside from taking out Kukui's braviary, I'm not impressed with that sack of feathers
Lycanroc soloed a grand trial and won ash a league while incineroar took down what was basically the strongest non-legendary Pokemon in Alola
I feel like Noivern's inclusion was the writers running out of cool new Kalos Pokemon for Ash to use with it's limited dex of new monsters. Sure they could've given him a Fairy but none of the new ones really fit him and we all know how rare it was to see Ash catch an older gen Pokemon back in the day.
Yeah they just forgot to give ash another Pokémon and half-way through the series they were like: Oh shit Ash only has 5 Pokémon, he needs 6 for the league
I think slurpuff would have fit ash
Noivern had a great personality tho it was cute
Alright a few things
One. Torterra didn’t get weaker it’s opponents got stronger
You can’t fault it for losing to an elite four member it did its best that isn’t fair
Palpitoad had great moments just not a lot of screentime prob had great battles offscreen
Noivern was a baby for most of its time so it was coddled but it did it’s best with what it had and came close a decent amount of times
And lastly gengar isn’t done yet so we gotta be patient
They could have given ash an Aegislash, or a make meowstic since Calem, who ash's XY clothes r based off, has one in the games
@@madnessarcade7447 that is no worthwhile excuse for that loser of a turtle since u Can literally argue that for ANY opponent ash lost to. It had one job and more often than not failed, in which case I'd get rid of it since training it would be a waste of time if it doesn't produce results
Your opinion on Ash's Strongest and Weakest Pokemon of each region are almost the same as mine, the only difference for me is Sceptile instead of Swellow as Ash's strongest mon in Hoenn, other than that, I agree with your list!
Sceptile didn't fully evolve in hoeen
And swellow was the mvp in the league
Why Corphish is soo underrated !!!!!...........It is his most powerful and strong pokemon in Hoeen region !!!
6:20 The one dragon that could beat Palkia...f
I want those posters 😍
same
In case you have the time, would you like to know about my versions of Ash's respective teams from all regions?
Fun fact: Ash’s gliscor actually has a lower win rate than his torterra
That doesn't really matter
Win/Rate means jackshit though if it isn't a direct 1v1 (So both Pokemon being fresh). Its the match-ups that count.
Take Sawk vs Leavanny and Krookodile as the example. While Krookodile got the final blow (So technically got the win), Krookodile would have fucking lost without Leavanny (Which was even adressed in the episode), so in my book, Leavanny deserves to get that win against Sawk also.
Take also Kalso as example. Talonflame is the best mon based on feats and the ace based on impact on the region (Talonflame never went down in a gym without taking down a mon with it/defeating it first, except for one and never went down in the league without taking down another mon). It also doesn't need a power-up to shine, unlike Greninja.
@@gekkouga2828 when it comes to how good a Pokemon is I beg to differ. If a Pokemon isn't delivering results and constantly underperforming, it's mostly known for losing, which is kinda unfortunate
@@eljordinio7647 i agree and disagree on that. While some of them are, most of them lose just because of plot armour -- basically most of them are like "middle" pokemon, making them lose for aces to thrive! Also most pokemon are made to lose for better plot. I do think it as a terrible measure of strength and potential.
@@gekkouga2828 still, Pokemon should also be able to hold their own and get some results. Even a 50 percent win record is better than rarely ever getting a win, in which case those weaklings either should improve or they get the boot
Dude you don't understand the euphoria I get from Bayleef and Swellow getting the love they deserve, especially Bayleef. Also nice that you shouted out SM Pikachu. I think it's when they actually started giving Pikachu a bit more stuff to do than ride on Ash's shoulder. It went from being in my top 5 to probably my favourite Ash Pokemon.
Lapras was a boat “ Best Of All Time”
To me, Ash's Sinnoh and Kalos teams are my top favorites.
Fun fact: Melmetal was used more than both Goodra and Noivern somehow.
So unfair...
I mean but they're better then Melmetal
@@RealBeastBoy007 nah, they’re worse. Noivern only won once. And after thst, it barely tied with a Salamence with a 0% on screen win rate and lost brutally to Weavile, Goodra only won once becuase Pikachu helped it ans the other time because Ash accidentally figured out Goodras ability. It lost every battle after that and would’ve lost to Heliolisk if Ash hadn’t returned Goodra. Melmetal on the other hand, nearly won against Silvally and destroyed Empoleon, beat 2 of Ryuki’s mons and Faba.
@@bullymaguire6388 Noivern tied with one of the strongest psedo legendaries that being salamance defeated Sawyer's doublade and clawitser Goodra is understandable Melmetal didn't beat Riyuki ROWLET did all the work and it didn't even come close to defeating Silvally and also it defeated Empoleon because it was already damaged by Pikachu also that battle with Faba was complete plot armour also Tobey Maguire is the work spider man actor
@@bullymaguire6388 Also why do you hate xy so much you little hater
I agree about Snivy and her personality, she's cute and sassy that's what makes her my favorite grass starter of Ash's and I ship her with Pikachu and I also agree about Ash should have catch a fairy type Pokemon in XY, he should have caught a Jigglypuff in my opinion and it be cute and funny

If torterra and Noivern can't produce results after evolving, they're not exactly stronger, or useful. I'm fact, they would have to be replaced with something actually useful
Good video as always
What’s sad about Totodile is that he didn’t get any important win up until the Johto League, toke him this long to actually do stuff which makes my wonder if this Pokemon character was seriously rushed
I'll just say it's about time Gengar gets more love and appreciation :)
It needs Ash to atleast use Gengar or Dragonite when all he use is Lucario and Pikachu

Let's take a moment to talk about torterra
It faced only powerhouses after fully evolving elite four master brain

really enjoyed it!!
I have the exact same opinions as you do, so that's kinda nice I guess XD
The whole point of in both the Pokemon anime series and in the game because as a trainer you need to train your Pokemon and evolved them so they can become stronger. Take example of Ash's Charizard, Sceptile, Infernape, Torterra, Greninja, Incineroar, Noctowl,Swellow, Starraptors, Unfezant, Talonflame, Dragonite, Lucario, Donphan, Muk, Gengar, Gliscor, Noivern, Glalie, Kingler, Krookodile, Leavanny, Melmetal, Lycanroc and Sirfetch'd.
I still wished the rest of Ash's unevolved Pokemon like Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Totodile, Corphish, Buziel, Gible, Snivy, Pignite, Oshawott, Scraggy, and Rowlet(get rid of the everstone) to evolved at last just like Bayleef, Quilava, Boldore, Paplitoad even though they should evolved to their final evolved form too. Because they deserved another chanced to evolved in the series since some of them didn't get that chance in the original Pokemon, Orange Island, Johto, Advanced, Diamond and Pearl, Black and White, XY and Sun and Moon Arc. Despite that they have help Ash win every battle and despite they seem to get stronger but to me they're all very very boring in their Unevolved form😒.
The only reason why they get stronger as well as help Ash win the battle because the Japanese writers made them win on purpose because to them their Unevolved form are cute and popular in Japan which to me it's getting old and I don't care about that at all. If I was the writers of Pokemon Journey Series in episode 68, I would have Ash decided to swapped his recent Pokemon ( Dragonite, Gengar, Lucario, Sirfarfetch and Dracovish) to bring back some of his old Pokemon from Professor Oak's lab. I would picked Boldore, Totodile, Gible, Bayleaf and, Pignite , then swapped for Snivy, Oshawott, Scraggy, Quilava and Corphish for his team during the series for a change so they could get a chanced to evolved.
Yeah it's time they prioritised evolution more in the anime. Unless they actually expressed they didn't wanna evolve like pikachu and Bulbasaur did, there should have been no excuse

Had palpitoad showed up way more, it might not be so disrespected
Believe in yourself
Palpitoad was a boss
All due respect but Palpitoad was not the worst in Unova. Unfezant only won two battles against Swoobat and Swanna. Then lost every other battle. It lost to a Riolu. A Pokémon it had the complete advantage against.
At least Palpitoad won against a Stoutland, Zebstrika, and tied with Stephan’s Zebstrika. It may had had the advantage against Zebstrika it didn’t straight out lose to it (not to mention Zebstrika knew all normal type moves including facade).
Unfezant was the worst. No debate
Umm... Talonflame is the best in Kalos for the sheer fact it has performed the best overall in the region without needing a power-up to shine (Also another funny fact is that Talonflame is also the ace in Kalos, since it has had way more impact during the Gym and League challenge). Pokemon Journeys team is his strongest team with all 3 Mechanics......beats Alola Team when Mega Lucario was given to Ash !!!
Honestly, if you think about it, Ash's Kalos team was low-key shite.
The obvious one is Goodra. Released halfway through the series, then brought back to do nothing. Ash spent most of Kalos with five Pokemon. It was jarring, to say the least.
Talonflame gradually lost its personality as it evolved. It also didn't have too many shining moments later in the series.
Noivern hardly won a battle and was clearly a band-aid solution to getting rid of Goodra. Ash lost his dragon type? Here, have this one instead.
Hawlucha was good. Enough screen time and shining moments.
Greninja straight up stole the entire show in the third season. I'm not exaggerating either. They rush Serenas goal to get back to Ash Greninja, and Ash's other pokemon were straight up ignored a good chunk of the time.
That's all without taking into account the skewed type composition of three flying types everyone already pointed out a million times.
Tbh Torterra and Noivern aren't as bad as you say. Torterra after his evolution only fought powerhouses. He fought with an elite four's Pokemon and gave her a tough time. Even Infernape was knocked out by a single move against Flint. Then Paul's drapion. That was a tough dude. Even as a grottle it almost took out Palmer's Rhyperior who is the most powerful frontier brain of Sinnoh. Any other Pokemon would've lost against the Pokemons Torterra faced. About Noivern he was just too young. He didn't had any experience yet he was able to fight Zapdos and tie with a pseudo legendary which is impressive. If he would've had more experience he would be superior to Hawlucha and Talonflame and on par with Goodra.

Given the move earthquake was banned from the anime...yet they still allow earth power which is literally just a Sp Atk version of Earthquake 😐
A good moveset for Ash's Torterra would be given the move options back in Sinnoh
Stone edge
Wood hammer
Giga drain
Earth power
Yea Torterra has a terrible Sp Atk stat but that didn't stop the writers from giving Paul's Torterra both Giga drain and Frenzy plant
Not to mention his Weavile ice beam and blizzard
Palpatoad had 2 memorable battles neither of which were good first up was Elesa which speaks for itself
The second was Stephan's Zebstrika....who only knew 4 NORMAL TYPE MOVES
Of course Noivern was treated like a baby for most of its time with Ash BECAUSE IT LITERALLY WAS A BABY WHEN ASH CAUGHT IT 😂
But you gotta give Noivern some credit as well because whilst he lost a number of times he still managed too
A# evolve against a Zapdos in order to save Hawlucha
B# hold its own against Alains Metang despite not having a great moveset for it
C# tie with Sawyer's Salamance making it 2 Persudeo legendary Pokémon stages Noivern has gone up against
And D# even hold its own against Alains Weavile despite having a 4X type disadvantage and Weavile knew ice beam
Even Noivern could do with a fixed moveset given its more of a ranged attacker then a physical for example
Dragon pulse or Draco meteor since in the anime Draco meteor doesn't drop the Sp Atk
Flamethrower for ice coverage
Steel wing for fairy types because Noivern can't learn any ranged steel type moves like flash cannon for example plus it covers Noiverns rock weakness as well
And Boomburst since it's basically Noiverns signature move even though other Pokemon like Flygon and Exploud can learn it as well
Another good 4th move would be hurricane though since Ash's Goodra does know rain dance and hurricane never misses if rain is active as seen when Misty's Mega Gyarados used rain dance and hurricane against Ash's Pikachu
And as for Gengar he's got the moveset to win maybe replace night shade with focus blast for dark types
But he's been with Ash longer then most of his other Journeys Pokemon and has only accumulated 1 win and multiple losses
Meanwhile we have scores like:
Dragonite is undefeated
Lucario and Pikachu have fought Mewtwo And Lucario has even bested a Gigantamax Machamp on his own despite already taking damage earlier in the battle
Sirfetch'd defeated a Gallade on its own despite its moveset being pure garbage for other fighting types especially given half of it is dark type moves and Gallade has justified as an ability
Dracovish SOMEHOW one shotted Iris Dragonite and don't get started with the whole "oh but Dracovish is a powerful Pokemon and it's ability boosts moves like ice fang" Iris Dragonite has literally blocked and taken ice type moves like they were nothing and has even domed ice types in the past so it's fucking stupid that this brain dead fish fake Dragon type can one shot the OG busted Persudeo legendary
Weaklings like that should either shape up or ship out for good
Sorry, but Iris is the worst of the Unova bunch
Nah
lol who is worse than Iris and here never ending "YoUr SuCH a KId"
Big time. Always insulting ash with that little kid routine. Champ or not, she'd be severely dealt with for that
Why Gliscor not up there
Yeah, it's weak as heck
My takes
Kanto:
Best- Charizard. Once it obeyed Ash
Worst- Pidgeot. Pretty bad in terms of birds
Johto
Best- Bayleef cos she kinda carried ash at times. Sorry Heracross but Ur win record holds u back
Worst- Totodile. Cute dancing but not the best battler
Hoenn
Best- Sceptile. He was the ace of hoenn and who can forget the win against Darkrai. Shoutout to Swellow tho
Worst- Torkoal. Pathetic in terms of battle record. If I were Ash I would give it the boot
Sinnoh
Best- Infernape. Do we even have to ask?
Worst: Torterra and Gliscor. How pathetic can u get? Their win records were Unacceptable. I'm sorry but those two would get the boot for that. Like Paul I have zero tolerance for weaklings like this. Buizel wasn't that great either but he wasn't THIS bad
Unova
Best. Krookodile. The fanbase agrees
Worst: Oshawott and Boldore. Weakest members on the team. Palpitoad had a higher win rate than those losers and he didn't even crop up as much
Kalos
Best- Greninja. There was no competition here
Worst- Noivern. For an awesome Pokemon, it really sucked battle wise. It got only one legit win. That's it. Otherwise it was completely useless in anything besides using echolocation
Alola: Best- Lycanroc. New form, exclusive Z Move, great development, and he won ash the league. Incineroar unfortunately suffers from wasting his potential after fully evolving
Worst- Rowlet 😡😡😡😡. He wasn't weak unlike a lot of the worst mons here by any means, but out of the whole Alola team, he is the worst imo cos not only did he never evolve, something he wasn't even against and I've grown sick of evolution being avoided like this for no legit reason, but that personality of rowlet's is absolutely Unacceptable as far as I'm concerned. He was dense at times and most of all, lazy. All he mostly did was just sleep, sleep, and sleep which wasn't helpful at times. Especially when battling. Apparently giving rowlet a rival didn't help nearly enough cos despite being serious when ash vs Hau was announced for the league, rowlet just dropped all that seriousness in the lead up to and during the match. He fell asleep during the training and then fell asleep AGAIN, during, the match, which nearly got ash eliminated!!! And then rowlet wakes up acting like nothing even happened. Like, *WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT SACK OF FEATHERS THINK HE'S DOING?!!!!!* Rowlet may have won that match but at what cost, ash's near elimination and my sanity?! I don't care if he is supposed to be comic relief or if it's just who he is, *THAT PERSONALITY WILL NOT FLY FOR A BATTLER!!!!* If I were Ash, rowlet would be severely dealt with for that stunt. Evolving would have likely fixed that Stagnant problem rowlet has and made him actually take battling as seriously as he should be. Even Snorlax was not this bad, and his species is known to sleep
Journeys
Best- Lucario. Ace of the team and a Pokemon we all wanted ash to have
Worst- Dracovish or as I call it with the deepest disdain, *Uglyvish!!!* 😡😡😡. This one is more personal considering it's a Pokemon I thoroughly despise and would gladly slaughter in cold blood on sight. The fact I call it uglyvish should say enough on my views of it
Dracovish is a legend though , he’s a goofy beast . Love the dynamic between him and sirfetchd
@@Therealsmithaz in the games maybe. In the anime, it's way too overhyped cos of some busted move that's only useful if you're faster. Goofy isn't always a good thing either
In any case, it's ugly and while the dynamic with sirfetch'd was interesting, it still wasn't good enough to save its disgusting posterior from my disdain
