    In this No Limit Hold Em Poker VLOG I am playing Texas Hold Em at Hustler Casino in Los Angeles. Hustler Casino is the home of the Hustler Live Stream where players like Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Garrett Adelstein, Phill Hellmuth, Mariano, Rampage Poker, Nick Vertucci, Ryan Feldman, Ryusuke, Doug Polk, Matt Berkey, Nik Airball and Mr Beast have played. I am trying to gamble my way to a big chip stack and win lots of cash!

    You are Living the dream! Love the vlogs. Couldn’t sleep the other night and watched a few hours of the hustler stream around 1-4am. It appeared although Airball is good action he did mess up the flow of the game as he must of had a vpip of close to 90% 😂

      Thank you!! He gives a lot of action and I would have loved to give some back but was a bit card dead. Maybe next time!

    I love how people use the term “fun” player instead of just being straight forward and calling them a mega fish!

    Yea I was thinking same thing w 1010, def a lead there bc of the turn check back. I actually think the best sizing is all in 2x jam. If he's got KK, AQ ,KQ or AA he's calling any bet on that run out. All bluffs bricked out and value is super narrow.

    I watched the A6 hearts hand while I waited for my tablet the Commerce and was wondering what you called with against the AK. I was super confused because I saw everything miss and you still call him down. I thought you were reading him for a drawer and didn’t realize how little he hand behind after his turn bet. It looked like you just thought he was bluffing with a spade drawer. But now that I see you had A6 hearts it makes perfect sense.

    U shouldve shoved flop w the TT vs the cbet. Would've looked just like the 76cc hand and I doubt anyone paying attention would fold anything decent in that spot they would probably remove sets from your range.

    Small flush vs 3 pair hand. I believe you said you’d rather have smaller flush to hero with, which I understand entirely. But I do have one question for you. If you hypothetically held both KQcc, and opponent played the hand this way, would you be folding since you hold his bluff cards?

    • @garyblackwoodpoker
      @garyblackwoodpoker  Před 6 měsíci

      I want to say yes, because I think theory wise, it's probably a fold. But I'm a fuckin station!!

    • @codytylerwright
      @codytylerwright Před 6 měsíci

      Same. After the turn checked through, he’s gotta be a crafty fella to risk river checking through and missing value. He’d likely lead river

    Just some thoughts on the hands…
    Why are you overlimping the 76s in the first hand? You have what I assume is a recreational player limping UTG that you want to iso IP not to mention the drop. Once you’re on the flop though, the BTN always has either a set which crushes you, a FD that crushes you, or KQ QJ that you’re still not doing well against. Once he bets that big multi-way he is waving a huge flag saying I LOVE MY HAND I AM NOT FOLDING. It’s just a fold on flop
    TT hand: Not sure about UTG profile but if he’s a rec cold calling the 3! isn’t that bad since you know he won’t have 4! bluffs and you’re more incentivized to play pots with him. Flop just call is good, river I don’t think the x jam is a mistake. The pro is going to recognize that your range is very strong after you cold call preflop and call next to act on flop. Honestly he’s probably not going to bluff this line too much and I could see him checking back AQ. If he does bluff he’ll probably go small just trying to get you to fold out a missed FD. As for sizing I’m torn between pot and jam. Versus a rec player I’m shoving the river all day.
    KK hand: Agree with the flop x call but I would actually go for an unconventional line here and donk turn. Usually if this guy has a strong hand on the flop he’s going to take a larger sizing on this board. This is going to be a lot of medium strength hands that check back the turn to pot control. There’s also going to be some air that gives up too so you don’t lose much from donking this spot. If you get raised you also know you’re beat and can easily fold
    54 hand: Excellent call that I’m not sure I find in game with the key being the BB in the hand. I wouldn’t really go to look at blocking properties or MDF in this sort of unique spot though. I think the “pieces of the puzzle” are far more important and can justify a call on their own
    K9 hand: Would much rather go for the flop xr and pressure on Ax that’s going to stab too much.
    Q9 hand: As you said the cbet is “ambitious” (torching), but as played I would go smaller on the turn. You don’t WANT the pro to fold out Tx yet. It’ll fold on the river.
    KT hand: Versus a whale this is a slam dunk value bet. Not sure about eff stacks here but if it were

    02:35 do we think we really have any fold equity? His range is probably AQ+, perhaps we're expecting hero folds with non-zero frequency or what?

    • @garyblackwoodpoker
      @garyblackwoodpoker  Před 6 měsíci

      He’s overlimped pre, he never has AQ here.

    • @garyblackwoodpoker
      @garyblackwoodpoker  Před 6 měsíci

      Sorry forgot to add, you're very likely right that we have little/no fold equity here, but I don't think AQ is likely at all

    Min 9:50 he didn't limped, he raised with AK, you lose the max for not paying attention. Big mistake!

    • @garyblackwoodpoker
      @garyblackwoodpoker  Před 6 měsíci

      He didn't, he limped under the gun for $10, then I called in the cutoff, then the button raised, then under the gun called, and I called as well. You can see in the video I call $10 in the cutoff, then the button raised, but you cannot see under the gun limping because the camera can't see it!

    I much prefer Hustler and have not been to Commerce in years (since COVID) as the buy-in structure is terrible.
    Solid play on the HCL stream. Sucks to not only run kings into aces, but also go card dead for long stretches. Great seeing you double up on kings vs Nik as that partially salvaged the session.

    • @thaThRONe
      @thaThRONe Před 5 měsíci

      I agree just moved from LA a couple months ago, but Commerce was at the bottom of my list. 2-5 game with max 200 buy in is just stupid. The games were way too shallow. I ranked them Hustler, The Bike, huge gap then Hollywood park, Gardens then Commerce.
