Watching him on CZcams and then seeing him almost win a major was the most exciting thing in golf since the 2019 masters for me, not saying golf has been boring, it was just that cool

Completely agree. He is definitely the golfer I'm always rooting for. PGA coverage ruins golf for me sometimes. They should allow you to follow your favorite golfer/group. Yes, they are trying but they have a long way to go.

Bryson is the Trevor Bauer of golf, the PGA like the MLB ran with a narrative that makes them look like everyone hates them but you follow their CZcams and it's really not true. They're just unique guys and a lot of people really like them.

I wouldn't compare Bryson and Trevor. Trevor has a fetish for bruising womens faces even if the woman in question was willing to go along with it. Trevor also has upset many of the clubhouses he played in giving him little mlbpa support. Bryson just does things to his own tune and it upsets the Elitist nature of Golf. I'll always root for someone who upsets the Golf Gatekeeprs.

There are many clubhouses and players who would like to have him on their team. One of those people with the inability to change their mind or do any more research than the first article they see.
@@coleslayz886 Yes according to Trevor there are a bunch of clubhouses who want him... yet in a league desperate for quality starting pitchers he remains unsigned. Just because he and a couple of his friends say that does not make it truth. There are managers out there saying they want nothing to do with him even before the whole assault scandal happened. Trevor is a professional victim.

I somewhat know bryson we have met a couple times at the course he plays a lot at. Iv got to play a 9 hole match with him witch im very greatful for. Bryson is such a pure guy and truly is the best in my oponion. I have never been to a pga tour event before but after playing with the guy you truly realize and repsect how good and the level of golf they run at.
I’m sure he is just like I’m sure a lot of guys on tour are! But Bryson is showing us all it in a a way no one else is and that’s going to be huge for his reputation and popularity for years to come.

first time seeing of one of your videos. You hit the nail "right on the head". Bryson is now becoming one of, if not already the most popular professional golfers in the world because of his reaching out to the average golfer on CZcams, etc. I am retired and play at a senior's club and the exposure of golf on CZcams is watched by everyone. I am sure younger golfers are watching too. This is an outstanding video!

I love watching the guy. He's the absolute 'I did it my way' guy. He changed his body to accommodate his golfing philosophy. He came up with his own personal putting style that looks a bit wooden, but isn't. His touch on the greens is awesome. He's engaging, friendly and willing to talk about his technique instead of trying to keep it to himself. Will he win other Majors? How can he not? If it wasn't for the Ryder Cup, I'd always root for the guy.

I found Bryson on CZcams, I don't follow golf competitions so hearing that he had a negative image at ANY point is hilarious. Anyone who sees him on his or any other channel knows he's about as down to earth as you can get.
Became his fan ever since watching him play in Liv Golf Adelaide. He was absolutely phenomenal and pleasure to watch
The type of people you are talking about that talking crap on Bryson, possibly even how you yourself viewed him - are the reasons why so many people write golf off as a snobby joke of a “sport.” All the talk of golf being for the ultra wealthy, country club mentality, out of shape “pro athletes” that tend to be gamblers and alcoholics… these are the stereotypes Bryson was breaking and that’s why he received so much vitriol. He wasn’t scared to be a nerdy jock. He didn’t back down from challenges - he faced them head on. He focused on looking under every stone possible for ways to increase his game. He played around with his body composition to seek different results. He built his own clubs. He’s done so many cool things outside of his CZcams channel that the fans should respect and they didn’t because he was different. He didn’t fit into the neat little box guy like Scheffler or Rory do. When a true original comes around that has potential to be a great one we should all take heed! Let’s go, Bryson! Go out there and win at Pinehurst and continue your dominance of proving the golfing elite wrong, honoring Ben Hogan along the way! 👊

He is by far the most interesting golfer in the last many decades. When he decided to bulk up and hit it as far as he could he actually changed golf history for a bout a year because even the top players who already hit it long were afraid of not hitting it even farther. Remember, people were thinking he was going to win the Masters going away. The hysteria was pretty amazing to see. He is easy to root for on my end, though I see how others may root against him. He is a true outlier as a human being. He is willing to think about things that other golfers have never even dreamed thinking of. He changed golf forever, in actuality.
Really happy to see everyone come around to Bryson.

When he moved to LIV, it wasn't just his image that he could control, but also what he played with. With PGA, the sponsors are everything. They control everything. But at LIV, he could develop and use whatever clubs he wanted. He's a better player for it. No one else uses the driver he uses. His irons are custom made. He also manages a team. He's had to work with other people and manage assets that he never had to do before.

@@yoboNIKKA Irrelevant. Simply the act of having a sponsor is the issue. And having a sponsor is must in the PGA. You can't do anything in the PGA without a sponsor. Sponsors run everything in PGA. In LIV, he was free from that.

Arnold had Hollywood good looks, small town charm, along with skills to beat the best at their own game. He was one of us. His warmth and connection with his fans was his secret weapon. Bryson is starting to get that connection as well through his youtube channel, and on-tour persona. I suspect he's the biggest name in golf behind Scheffler right now.

I've followed Bryson on Instagram and with Good Good well before he reinvigorated his youtube channel, and whilst so many downers were knocking him for slow putting, knocking him for his uniqueness and his quirks and the Brooksie BS.
I was trolling the trolls hard and trying to get them to see his potential.
I am so glad the crowds, both on the course and on the internet are mostly liking him, and now we collectively can stick it to the haters.

I’ve always liked Bryson. I’ve been playing golf for 50 years and have always said length was one of the biggest advantages. I always thought why doesn’t one of the long drive guys get on the tour. Now you have Bryson doing exactly what I’ve always thought might happen. I wish him all the best and love watching him play. I just wish I had the ability to get some of that length. It would make the game so much more fun.

I saw him at the open at royal st georges in 2021. Box office. I would pay hundreds to see him hit the ball. He has charisma oozing from him. Seve and phil are the only other 2 who had that ability of walking in a room of 1000 people and everyone knew they where there. The pga last week was so fun with him competing.
I think that's what makes CZcams golf appealing, it's getting to know the real golfer.
I couldn't stand Dechambeau when he came on the national golf scene and when he first got on tour. The more he's put himself out there on different youtube channels and starting his own the more I've flipped on him. He's genuinely a good dude and really has a lot of passion for the game of golf.
the CZcams golf scene brought me back to golf. I'm only 30, and I was sent to many golf camps when I was younger with PGA instructors. and I hated the Snobby richy rich attitude of some of the atmospheres. now later in life I am coming back around.

At first, I thought he was super cocky and arrogant, but he did a good job working on coming across a little bit more down to earth and humble. I’m sure it was the result of working with a PR group but either way improvement is improvement.

I personally don’t like the LIV product because it’s not broadcasted or presented well but I cannot explain how enjoyable Bryson’s channel is. Such a great guy and I know he has a lot of great golf left in the tank

Bryson is a revolutionary.... he single handedly ruined half the pros on tour swings, trying to keep up with his power. he's a throwback in that he: has his own home built swing, and uses clubs of his own design.. he's the modern day old tom morris and arnold palmer wrapped in 1.
Liv Golf gave Bryson the freedom he needed.
Bryson has sorted himself and is smashing it, just need the PGA to sort its self out now for the good of the game.

Forgot to mention his gift for analyzing every facet of golf is because his college major was engineering. Thus, his pursuit for continuous improvement and performance. He dares to ask the questions and do the research, instead of just following everyone else.
I been rooting hard for Bryson in the majors..just a shame we don't get to see him competing week in and week out on the PGA..like do regular PGA wins still mean the same since Dechambeau, Rahm, and a few other big players are no longer competing in regular PGA events..just doesn't seem right..should always be the best players playing the best players
I'm a 50 yr old man who will openly admit that I was wrong about this guy!! I didn't like him at all but he's become my favorite. I had a couple of interactions with him during the Fed Ex tournament where I was working Shotlink and the golfers walk route went right by us. Nicest guy in the world.
That's great to hear and honestly, I am the same! When I first saw him in a GM Golf video I was skeptical and surprised that he would even want to associate with him knowing his reputation, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Truly an incredible turnaround for him.

Totally agree, say what you like about LIV ownership and format, but Bryson has opened up an entrie sport to everybody.
I was no fan of the PGA either, they were greedy and short sighted, they talked about "growing the game", but all they seemed to be interested in was growing and walling off their franchise, i get it, they're a business they need to make money, but don't give us BS about growing the game.
I can think of no other sport where professional players are as open and accessable outside "the ropes" as Brson since moving to LIV. Thats as much down to LIV letting their players do it, as much as it is Bryson actually doing it.
For Bryson himself its a win win win, he's now better understood by the fans and has more people rooting for him in tournaments, which can only help him. He has developed his own personality and seems much less socially awkward than he was in the early days.
Fans get a peak behind the curtain and are more likely to follow Bryson, so LIV and Golf in general wins as a result.
Bryson has created a side huslte which while nothing in comparison to prize money and sponsorship money is not insignificant, especially with an eye on what he does when he stops playing tournament golf, if it continues to grow, getting to 700k subs in 2 years is no mean feat.
Watching this video was almost like listening to my own office chatter commentary on the subject. Bryson was always misunderstood. And I relate. But the guy has ACTUAL game and likeability.
His CZcams channel totally changed my perception of him. I’m a subscriber but have never watched LIV and don’t plan on it either.
