- Starter Pokemon are easily some of the most talked about and popular Pokemon ever. A lot of excitement surrounds them every time new starters are revealed, and there's a lot of pressure for them to live up to the hype. In today's video I'm going to be ranking EVERY Starter Pokemon and their evolutions from worst to best in my own opinion. This should be fun, so I hope you enjoy the video!

“Oh i don’t like bulbasaur”
“Why”
“Because other people like him”
WOHOOO
I like bulbasaur, but not that reason, I like it because I like the bulb and froggish design, I like the bulbasaur line of the Kanto since I was 4 years old
Bulbasaur in the Anime had a solid character and he was strong too.
Not to mention he's technically the best Kanto starter since he's super effective against the first 2 gyms.
Bulbasaur was my starter in my first game. I love Bulbasaur.
Idk man I used to hate how everyone treated Bukbasaur poorly, Im.glad its getting the recognition it deserves
Bulbasaur deserves all the love 🥺
"It's just a Pig." No, it's great.
It's cute, it becomes strong and cool, just like a Starter should.
@@slevinchannel7589 why do I see your comment everywhere
its my favorite kanto starter. just above squirtle.
@@GeospaciallyGone Yet your username contains 'Geo'?
“It just looks like grottle and monferno are going through puberty.”
Prinplup: am I a joke to you?
fr out of the three Prinplup's design is the awkward one and I think the other two are great XD
"I dont like Bulbasaur because he used to be the least liked and now its not."
"I dont have any problem Charizard and its favouritism."
As someone that has always chosen Bulbasaur in Gen 1 games, I feel very attacked. Lmfao
"It's just a Pig." No, it's great.
It's cute, it becomes strong and cool, just like a Starter should.
I ALWAYS LOVED BULBA
Same.
NGL Bulbasaur has always been my favorite of the Kanto starters, mainly for how useful it is early on. Poison Powder, Sleep Powder, AND Razor Leaf. Also having that dual typing out of the gate is cool, too.
I personally love Incineroar because he looks like Rath from the Ben 10 franchise and Rath in the original series was iconic because John DiMaggio gave him a great personality. Dawn's Piplup was annoying in the anime which made me hate it. I like Typhlosion because of his simple design and the fact that Cyndaquil is always the first National Pokedex/ non-story starter I always receive. So he's old reliable. Torterra is the greatest pokemon of all time. He has a great origin and an amazing design. He even has a halo because of his awesome power and origin.
I love Torterror, but he will always come in second for me after Charizard who is just so nostalgic for me and seems to fit my personality really well
8:40 Why can't you just be happy for the little onion frog?
🥺
When the Popplio line is at the bottom
"Thomas had never seen such bullshit before"
Quality Shitposts and Delphox and the Incineroar line and worst of all... Cinderace... >:(
PyroCinderace I only like the middle stage of scorbunny
I evolve my Fennekin to Braixen and that's it, no Delphox
Sorry but, the popplio line is such garbage in my opinion.
Popplio is the only starter Pokemon I would have called just flat out gross. Its evolutions are fine but that first evolution - I just can't look at that thing.
The comment section on this video is bound to be *_FUN._*
Depends where Greninja is
Why??? The turtle pokemon were overshadowed by cool pokemon that can be fogotten, because I thought all the good pokemon were gone by torterra, so I was surprised to see other good pokemon
@@Xman34washere true though
@@Xman34washere lol
Inteleon is underrated man he saved my ass so much on my first run of sword
Inteleon is the best galar starter
@@EricWei-uu8bu Inteleon is better because of it's super cool design concept. It's based off of a secret agent, which is super cool, just like his snipe shot animation. His gmax form is also super dope because it's literally holding a sniper. It's basically a secret agent that's getting it's revenge on the people that bullied sobble, which was itself as a kid. It's concept is super cool, maybe it's excecution wasn't on point though.
I like Inteleon
It’s Piiney ik i hd a better time with inteleon than with cinderace or rillaboom
Inteleon is my favorite Pokemon ever
I really couldn't rank the starter pokemon, since I like them all
but everybody has their opinions
Same...
Bruh you wanna try ranking EVERY SINGLE POKEMON it took 4 hours.
@@SinnohGreen he didn't say that
Well,I find it difficult for me to like everyone, there is always one that I dont like very much.
Same
I love all starter Pokemon, they’ve all got their quirks in one way or another. But Serperior is my favourite Pokémon ever.
My favourite Pokemon is Articuno, but Serperior is my favourite grass type and favourite starter.
The snivy line is my favorite starter line
I love serperior give it leaf blade, coil, and leech seed and you're all set
"It's just a Pig." No, it's great.
It's cute, it becomes strong and cool, just like a Starter should.
Mine is emboar simply because it was my first
Why does everyone hate on inteleon? I personally really love it. I get it, it's execution was pretty bad but it's animations on pokemon like when it uses snipe shot are super cool. It also has a really cool design concept. It's based off of a secret agent, which is already really dope, and it's gmax form literally is holding a sniper, which is easily the coolest gmax form. It is basically a secret agent who is getting it's revenge on all the people that bullied it back when it was just a sobble.
I like inteleon too. Don’t know why it get hate.
We hate it because it's really skinny and creepy. The concept is good but it really doesnt look good.
@@p.ookaa1 Ya i said the execution wasn't the best. The animation for snipe shot is good tho and the gmax design is awesome.
Sead Kolludra even if that’s the case I’ll still like. I like all the water starter and the a few of the grass and fire starter.
I been liking inteleon since the very first time he was revealed I guess some don't like his skinny design and blink stare perhaps the anime will give him more personality than the game.
Fun fact, Quillava used to be my overall favorite Pokémon in general! Also, Delphox is actually one of my favorite starters because my first Pokémon game was Pokémon X and I chose Fennikin. Nostalgia plays a big part in my list.
Delphox does have an awesome design
Delphox is my favorite. Heck, Greninja is actually on the very small list of designs I don't like.
Fennikin gang ftw
My first game was pokemon Y, and I picked fenniken too

Cinderace line🥰
I've always been a bulbasaur fan. I think the "newfound" love for it is people grew up and aren't pyromaniacs anymore
This guy is kinda unspecific on his picks to be honest
To be fair, it is hard to rank 72 Pokemon entirely fairly and equally.
Very unspecific. It’s because it’s mainly opinion based. He could make it better looking what the designs where based off and wether it’s execution of it was good or not. Saying it’s ugly or not your favorite is not a good way to make a best yo worst Pokémon list.
I've always loved the Squirtle line. Blastoise has been my boy since Gen 1 and always have one on my water team.
Finally someone else who likes chestnaught!
Brionne and delphox AND Intellion at the bottom? Complete oppisite of me lol
Yay for the Chespin line being able to make it that high up on the list. It feels so nice having the line ranked higher then the infamous Greninja.
Ikr
Yeah! Even if I'm more of a Fennekin line fan, I will come to appreciate Chespin so much and Chesnaught looks really cool.
Froakie line on the other hand is overrated.
Take fighting type off of Emboar and just make its shiny its only color and it would be higher up on everyone's list
Ya and give the fighting to incineroar, seriously why is it a dark type 😑
@@kannan07 because it is a Heel Wrestler, a bad guy that acts to be disliked by the public
the title should be "my least to most most favorite"
Him: Puts my favorite starters at the bottom
ME: "you put Inteleon, Cinderace, Incineroar, Primarina, Torracat, Drizzile, and Combusken at the bottom"
Me: Its like he guessed my favorite starters and put them at the bottom (but he left Sceptile, Charizard, and Wartortle out of it)
???
I think Snivy is awesome especially Ash’s Snivy.
Ash's snivy definitely had the sassy nature
What the hell was that Bulbasaur reasoning?! It wasn’t even an opinion, it was just pathetic.
So hes one of those people
Everyone knows primarina is a god tier pokemon because its amazig especially with fairy type and when it came out i was like "... I NEED IT" seriously its so good
Hating a pokemon bc it’s popular is incredibly silly. Bulbasaur is a very creative and fantastic design. Hating on gen 1 pokes has become way too meta
I always loved bulbasaur and it was my favorite, I still have my first bulbasaur, now a venusaur and kanto starter from my leaf green. anf bulbasuar was my favorite kanto starter of Ash's as a kid, sooo yeah been a fan of Bulba xP
and in japan it was bulbasaur vs charmander than squirtle vs charmander but world wide yeah bulba was the odd one out
16:13
I just realized something...
Torchic is just... spicy chicken. :P
Uhm, while we have lots of common opinions, just saying something is
"incredble and fantastic" is not really explaining much...
Pignite's placement really did surprise me! I'm so glad that it's grown on you a little!
...though I do think Incineroar is a bit too low. Oh whatever, like you said, it's your opinion, and I can respect that.
Rillaboom is the best swsh starter and I really like that it carries around drums.
Agreed.
Finally someone gives piplup the respect it deserves
My first video game and Pokémon game was Black version and I already knew that my favorite Pokémon was Piplup and Oshawott was love at first sight. I still have it to this day in my Sun version as a Samurott. I love it dearly and it is still one of the only Pokémon I have used on a dream team that does not have a nickname. The other ones being my Sceptile and Shiny Metagross from my first time playing Alpha Sapphire and my entire Galar Team. My favorite starter Pokémon are the entire Samurott line, Piplup, Empoleon, Torchic, Blaziken, Sceptile, Inteleon, Rillaboom, Serpierior, Infernape, Incineroar, Chespin, Chesnaught, Fennikin, Delphox, Greninja and the entire Decidueye line. This isn't in a particular order.
Dang this man really coming for my three Fire boys right off the bat
I love your content!! I always wait for your next videos!!
Of course, Inteleon is ranked top 69😏
Eric oof everstone it, although Inteleon is an insane one punch man
Well... it appears we have far different tastes haha. Good video though
Makes sense that Cyndaquil is #1, it is the 'Rat' of the Zodiac theme of the fire starters :).
Apparently, Badgers are rats now, good to know
@@daveertel1704 Cyndaquil is an echidna (Typhlosion is the badger), but your point still holds xD. Same with with the fox for the dog... Maybe once they finish the 12, we can get actual rat and dog starters (and maybe a cat that remains a cat).
@@gustavju4686 I agree, Litten and Torracat were amazing examples of cat fire type pokemon, and then incineroar ruined it
Dave Ertel like honestly is it that hard to make a quadrupedal final evolution that is a fire type?
@@jofriko5416 yeah, they can do it with water and grass final evolutions, but every single fire type starter only has bipedal/upright final evolutions
I also don't get the Samurott hate. IMO, he's one of the best designed final evolutions.
Also, would just like to add that Inteleon has really grown on me.
Also, we now have a Hisuian Smaurott which looks just as awesome as its Unovan counterpart. Once I get my hands on Legends Arceus, I'm choosing Oshawott for every reason. I love Samurott as well.
Thank you for giving Greninja praise. However I think you put him too low. He is my favorite Pokemon of all time
The gen 8 starters disappointed me most. I love the way they look in their first evo, then they go downhill in their second evo, and then I’ve lost hope in their final evo. They are mono type which I always dislike, and they don’t even have good designs to back it up like the gen 2 starters. My favorite starter line is gen 3. Cute as hell first evolutions, middle evolutions signify growth and are different enough to be interesting, and the final evos have something for everyone.
I really respect you so much more after this list. My favorite mon has always been Cyndaquil because of how adorable it is, and it was my very first starter when I got my first game 5-6 years ago (HeartGold). I'm a sucker for all of the hedgehog like pokémon so the Chespin line has always been up my alley. A few more I absolutely love are the Oshawott line and the Chikorita line, I personally feel like they're slept on so much but I know everyone has their opinions.
Thank you for the amazing videos you always put out 💜💜💜
Bro, you really putting Delphox, Primarina, Cinderace, and Inteleon under Quilladin and pignite? Why you doing us like that?
I don't mean any of this, I'm just joking around. Your videos are awesome.
Primarina is my favorite of all the starters. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a Pokémon ever since gen 1.
Dam I respect that
It's not my favourite starter, but I definitely adore it!
I love the entire Popplio line, they're so cute and I love the dual Water/Fairy-Type type combo on Primarina. My favourite of the Alolan Starters, with the Rowlet line being my second favourite.
Of course, you are entitled to your opinion, Hoops, but you did my Grass type babies so dirty. They're my favorite type. 😭
P.S: My favorite starter lines of each type are the Chickorita, Mudkip, and Cyndaquil lines.
Phew...nor sure if I could do what you did.
There are a few Pokemon on the list that are "agree to disagree" on and Snivy and Sobble are some of them.
Ash's snivy is in the anime is what gravitated me toward the line.
In fact, I'll give you 2 top 5 starter lines: one where Pikachu and Eevee count and one where they don't.
If Pikachu and Eevee count:
1. Totodile line
2. Pikachu
3. Eevee
4. Piplup line
5. Snivy line
If they don't count:
1. Totodile line
2. Piplup line
3. Snivy line
4. Popplio line
5. Sobble line
me: sees vid
also me: yeah cyndaquil will be 1st...
Thank you so much for all videos you made. You are one of my absolutely best youtubers ever. :)
Jsi borec. Mám moc rád tvoji tvorbu.
why is fennekin only in the middle? why isn't it number one
Exactly. I cried
Why is it higher than Delphox?
Because its his opinions
My incineroar is very low on the list.
Someone: I don’t really like Delphox
Me 2 years ago: What! Delphox is my favourite Pokémon! How dare you make fun of it.
Me now: Meh...
:/
I think you’re treating the later generations’ final evo’s too harshly. Although they may not be the most appealing they are as powerful as any other starter
Great video Hoops! My favourite starter is Piplup! It's adorable!! 😍
Not prinplup tho
I love Primarina, it’s probably my favorite Pokémon of all time. I understand though I’m a girlie girl that is a huge Pokémon nerd. It’s just my aesthetic. I’m hoping they have more fairy type starters in the future as it’s my favorite type.
All hail ze grass snake line praise the most SUPERIOR grass starter line, also hope for gen4 remakes
Nice video as always!
Primarina is my #1 fave Pokemon. ;~; Though I can 100% understand why someone masculine might not be into her line.
Edit: Okay I was being nice cause I wrote that comment early in the video but now, seeing where you placed Quilladin, I have realized that you Have No Rights You Monster.
I was regretting clicking on the video thinking of how low the gen 5 mons would probably be but they're not that low compared to what I expected so I'm happy. I thought my boy Pignite would be last or something. And yess Quilladin and Dewott appreciation!!!
I think bulbasaur is great -it is one of my top favorites. I think it is the best grass starter in all of pokemon because it really sells the grass type as a whole. Turtwig is the only other grass starter that comes close in my opinion. This is because they both contain such strong elements of being both animalistic and plant-like. Bulbasaur has a plant bulb on its back and Turtwig has a shell made of soil with plants growing out of it. Both pokemon have sections of their body that seem to only be plant. This is what makes them both so convincing as grass types. Although, out of the two, I think Bulbasaur does this best of all. It really makes you wonder how its anatomy works. At what point is it plant? And at what point is it animal? When trying to equate both of them to the real world, they are both examples of what would fit into a classification of animals which does not exist (somehwere in between plant and animal).
Pokemon is full of fantastical elements which separates it from the real world. This is mostly fueled by the types that are present in Pokemon. Bulbasaur's design sells that these elements are very engrained in the world because they are so inseparably connected to its own design. It was a great introduction to the type and the scope of said type.
I think Charmander does this really well too, in its own way. They made the fire on the tip of its tail so integral to its design by telling us that if the fire ever goes out Charmander will die. This addition to its design was so simple, yet it was able to create a sense of how it fits in an ecosystem. Both Bulbasaur and Charmander securely place themselves in their own respective ecosystems because of how their types affect their physiology. And all of this is only added to when considering the nature of starter pokemon themselves.
The introduction of starter pokemon in Gen 1 was the introduction of Pokemon in general. They are the first pokemon you ever see. The starters were the initial hook that teaches you that you need and want to have Pokemon. Why was this case? 1) You need a way to explore and you can't continue further without a Pokemon 2) Pokemon are dangerous, and you can only face them if you have a Pokemon of your own 3) You are given one and thrown into a battle with your rival which demonstrates just how powerful pokemon are and how fun it can be to battle with them 4) After that point you are told to go find more pokemon to fill out your pokedex, further motivating you to want to explore. And all of this was done before you ever catch a pokemon with a pokeball (even before the realization that you could). This was so masterfully done. And given how well the concept of starter pokemon established a love for pokemon (they not only being a prized gift at the beginning of each new game but the introduction for the series), people have always connected with them very greatly ever since.
The world's introduction to Pokemon and to Pokemon types was the Kanto Starters. So it is really impressive that Charmander and Bulbasaur could so perfectly embody their respective typings so convincingly. (Please know, I also love squirtle by the way ❤️ Don't worry. Out of the three Charmander is my favorite but Bulbasaur is a close second)
I definitely would have placed Bulbasaur higher up on the list personally. There are other grass type starters I really like but they don't necessarily sell the grass typing quite as well (which I feel is a fairly hard type to sell). Here is how I would order them: After Bulbasaur's (Gen 1) and Turtwig's (Gen 4) lines, Chikorita's line (Gen 2) does the best job at this I think. Grovyle and Sceptile (Gen 3) are next. And after that I think Chespin and Snivy's line are fairly tied in how well they incorporate more plant-like elements in their designs (Gen 5 & Gen 6). One starter I really like but doesn't have the same ability to convince me of its typing as these others is Rowlet. I think it is very cute, and I love the barn owl inspiration, but it fails in this regard when compared to these other grass starters. It does better at this when it evolves though. Its final evolution, Decidueye, is probably on par with Serperior in terms of how well it fits the grass type. (And I personally do not really care for Gen 8 or Gen 9's starters).
You with Bulbasaur is literally me with Charizard. I absolutely cannot stand the amount of favoritism that it gets and the fact that it overshadows all the other starters
I would have put Litten at least on top 20 because of that one episode of the anime with the Stoutland. It was just so emotional and well made; the scenes from that episode have deepened in my memory along with noble, brave Litten.
And here I was honestly thinking I was the only one who actually prefers Charmeleon over Charizard. Glad there’s someone else out there
This man talked about Bulbasaur like it was Charizard
Hoops and hip hop your placement of samurott has made me subscribe
23:10 fun fact, he's playing a reverse battle, which reverses the type matchups, since this existed in x and y.
My favorite trio is Cinderace, Primarina and Serperior
Come on... I didn't have to watch this video to know cyndaquil would be number one but I watched it anyway
Delphox????? Missed opportunity????? Wtf?????
Oook we're definitely have different taste! 😂
Delphox is a hell of a lot better than the big tongue asphyxiater everyone obsesses over.
Tyhplosion was badly hurt by the removal of the fire in its 3D model
I love Venusaur. Started my very first playthrough with a Bulbasaur and over the years I have picked it as my starter (or second starter in X and Y) so often, I think I have spent more time with Venusaur in my team than with any other final starter evolution. I also freaking love Chesnaught. The one that I had in my first playthrough of X was a freaking tank. Delphox is the only starter Pokemon I ever boxed. Others I have always had with me until the very end but this thing just stayed with me until it evolved then it went straight into a box and was never looked at again.
"It's just a Pig." No, it's great.
It's cute, it becomes strong and cool, just like a Starter should.
Thank you so much for not just putting greninja and charizard at the top
@laken and kk's life you've been caught laken
In regard to the Kanto trio. Like any kid I loved Charizard when I first saw him, but I ended up growing closer to the Squirtle line when I started playing through the games. I appreciated the characters of Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charizard in the anime well enough, but what really pushed Bulbasaur up in the rankings for me personally (I'd say I like 'em more than Charmander but not more than Squirtle) was Kalos. Having the chance to take one with me through the adventure, getting to see it Mega Evolve and using a Mega Venesaur I bred in competitive really made me adore the line a whole lot more. I dunno if that makes me a bandwagon fan of the line, but I don't really care.
'I think the whole Snivy line is somewhat forgettable for me'
Me: YOU REMEMBER SMUG LEAF?!
Why u gotta do dat to my boi intelly
Doesn't everyone?
Go back to school, and learn how to type in proper English.
CaptainXero *N O* and plus school is closed idiot
The fact that primarina is below the chespin line completely invalidates the whole list
Bulbasaur was always my favourite as a kid, but I didn't start playing until gen2 so I didn't have the "it's too easy" thing to deal with in Gen 1. But like bulbs, my taste has evolved. Ivy is my boy now
Hoops' next video- top 10 spherical bois
Very interesting list, I don’t understand it in the slightest. How can anyone put Charizard and Greninja so low? Then again, everyone has their own opinion. Regardless I respect it! Pokémon are great and there is so much to love about them all
I swear to arceus if any members of the Tepig line are low down
Thanks for sharing your opinions! It really gave me more appreciation for the pokemon starters, especially for the ones I'm not a big fan of that you like more.
For me, Charizard is number one; he was my go to starter from my original Red game and I just love that he is essentially a fire-breathing dragon, without actually being a dragon. He held a great advantage going up against dragon pokemon (ok, it just was just Dragonite. But still, I always thought that was epic) given he can learn dragon-type moves not to mention dragon moves were OP as hell! And now, if you want it to be a dragon, then you can mega evolve him into one! Also, I love Charmander and Charmeleon. Yeah, they may seem plain designs to some, but I do have a nostalgia trip with this family in particular. Not too mention Fire type is one of my favorite types. Blastoise and Venasaur are tied for me in terms of design and "coolness." They are quite nice, but there are some other starters I like more. However, I do love each starting stage equally. They are all cool! The middle stages are also great, but I'd rank them somewhere below their starting stages.
Out of the generation 2, I think Feraligatr looks the best final stage in my opinion and I love both Croconaw and Totodile in looks (with the latter being the better of the two) and also Totodile in personality! In the anime, he sounds exactly like Donald Duck and I can do a pretty good impression of him too. I also love the look of Cindaquil; it's adorable and I love it. Typhlosion is really cool too. For a middle stage, I gotta admit, Quilava looks great. Chikorita: 👎. Meganium and Bayleef: meh.
The third generation I believe is the best generation where I think you really can't go wrong in terms of looks for any starting choices (my second favorite set is the first gen). Each starting pokemon looks good, middles aren't too bad (except for the one who looks like you need to blur it completely out), and each final looks fan-freakin'-tastic! And their Megas are awesome to boot!!
For the fourth gen, I don't like the Piplup line at all except for Piplup itself. It's so cute! ^_^ Emporleon is quite underwhelming for me; there's nothing too spectacular about him; it's even worse for Prinplup. Although I do like the concept of making him a literal emperor, it just doesn't work for me. The one that does appeal to me the most is the entire Turtwig family. I love Turtwig. I like Grotle (honestly I cannot see what's wrong with it's design; it has a small bushy grove and is a great middle stage between a twig and an entire grassy terrain), and I love Torterra.
Fifth gen, I like Samurott's design. It looks very cool, especially how it's based on a Samurai. Oshawott and Dewott also look quite nice. I also liked Oshawott's personality in the anime.
For sixth gen, I say this is my third favorite gen where I don't see how you can go wrong in choosing your starters in terms of looks (with a little bit of iffy-ness based solely on the fact that I acknowledge other's criticisms). Greninja is my favorite. I love the ninja frog aesthetic. Chespin family would probably be my least favorite line out of the three Kalos starters, but that by no means makes them any less cool. I just don't understand Quiladin...why the big nose? And other design choices make it seem not related to the rest of the Chespin family. Eh, oh well. It's still nice. Lastly, I think the witch aesthetic comes off nicely with Delphox. I mean, what other design choices were you thinking Gamefreak could have added/subtracted/altered? Personally, it seems fine to me. I honestly don't get other people's problems with it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I find that seventh gen gets interesting. I agree Primarina would be similarly placed on your list if I was ranking it, but it's not a bad design. Popplio is kinda cute, but Brionne is boring to me. Same for Torracat. I like Litten a lot and I've grown to like Incineroar too. I just love the look of it's design. However, the entire Rowlett line looks absolutely amazing! Each stage just works for me; I love how it gains the ghost typing in its final evolution also. Next to the Charizard family, I think the Rowlett family takes second place.
For eighth gen, I also love all of the starting stages; easily out ranking every one of their later stages. The middle stages, considering other generations, actually don't look half bad, with Raboot being my favorite of the three. Finally, for the final stages, I think I like Rillaboom the best. I also like how your character says "Go Rillaboom" or "gorilla boom" when you throw them out onto the field. I mean, it's nothing spectacular or anything; it's just an interesting thing how GF made that work out (r/oddlysatisfying anyone?). I'm also partial to primates too; it's just a personal preference since I really admire how intelligent primates are in the wild. Inteleon is also pretty cool too. Three words: secret agent sniper. Nevertheless, considering all of the generations, there are plenty of others that look better, so these guys would sit around the middle on my list.
I know this isn't a starter pokemon I pretty sure centiskorch also has samurai traits because the fire logo is a samurai helmet and the belly has the little waist band with the spots
I was the kid that loved Bulbasaur before it was ever cool. And I still do.
Could you do a video that ranks the final evolutions of all the Starters VGC competition wise
Surprised to have seen so many final evolutions in the bottom. Usually the middle ones are looked at as the worst designs.
A lot of fire and water pokemon in the bottom too. Grotle is the first grass type.
Yeah like Combusken, it's literally shaped like a..... uh..... spaceship. XD
Torterra would've been even cooler if its name was Terratort
To people complaining there is something called opinion ,I am okay with him ranking Pokémon my fav pokemon in no 38 and even lower than some of my least Pokémon
Would be AMAZING to see a fox and witch combination without it being a starter. Hopefully it'll be a more Dark/Psychic with the secondary being the Fire type. Giggity.
I forget that all the evolutions of chikorita exist. It just feels like a weird fever dream I had as a kid that claws it's way back into reality when its mentioned
Hehe this comment section will be on *FIRE...*
Nah, Bibarel will uses water gun on it
Ooooh classic ones above newer ones, you are sooooo original. You digust me.
I like your list but I wanted Cinderace and Primarina to be higher because those two are some of favorite starters.
I'm gonna say it
Raboot is THE PERFECT middle stage evolution that could lead up to the PERFECT final evolution
And Cinderace should just be burned and forgotten
Turtwig line is first
2. Squirtle line
3. Cyndaquill line
4. Piplup
5. Empoleon
6.Are any other pokemon woth mentioning?
Boy he was right when he said "opinion" is the key word. Most of the rankings at least have some other reasons that make sense. "It's low cause I don't like it" Amazing
Not surprised that Cyndaquil is number 1, but pleasantly surprised that Typhlosion is number 3! Typhlosion is my favorite Pokémon of all time, and I ALMOST NEVER see people talking about it, especially in comparison to Cyndaquil! Thanks for bringing some attention to one of the most overlooked Starter Pokemon! (I’m not joking, Typhlosion has one of the LOWEST number of appearances of ANY Starter Pokemon in the anime, it didn’t even appear in the main series until Hoenn!)
I knew when you had Primarina and Cinderace near the bottoms of your list, that we have very different opinions on starters, lol. They are probably within my top 20 all time pokemon list.
It was later confirmed even more when you had the Cyndaquil, Oshawott and Chespin lines so high up, some making up your top 3. These are some of my least favouties. (Like, I truly have never understood the love for Cyndaquil/Typhlosion. It's has a very basic design with awkward fire).
Also, Bulbasaur has always been my favourite Kanto start, and Venusaur has grown even more dear to me over the years. I didn't even know there was a new movement of Bulbasaur lovers. Lol!
That being said, these are all opinions. The great thing about Pokemon is different ones appeal to different people. Thanks for putting in the work for this video!
