There is a military saying: Quantity is a quality all of its own. Even if they're crap, you have TWENTY. THOUSAND. OF THEM.
Mikey: *explaining how Staravia is a good choice
2 seconds later
Papasea: I'm not taking Staravias that's just stupid
Purplecliffe: ok so you know how theres the 10000 sunkern
Pokemen7: oh fu-
Purplecliffe: double that and teach them all solar beam and leech seed
Solar Beam, Leach Seed, Sunny Day, and Growth.
yeah
Exactly
Mikey: Playing team sky leader once again without even releasing it.
Me: HAIL YEAH!
I’ve been thinking about this problem for a full 14 minutes and 18 seconds, and I think the best answer I have is Snorlaxs and Sunkern. You have the Snorlax defend you while the Sunkern absolutely destroy everything else with solar beam. Jack is right, 10,000 of any Pokémon (that can do some form of damage) would be better than any of the other options.
I'd even take 10000 Cosmog, they'll be struggling long before even half of them are gone
AND...you can probably spare half of the sunkern to set up lightscreen while the rest charge solar beam. That way the following turn, they can start charging and the rest fire their beams, not to mention they are specially defended by a lot of lightscreens. Then, while the first wave of solar beamed sunkerns recharge again, the second half are firing their shot. It's a never ending wave of solar beams! Muahahahahaha!
EXACTLY
1 Earthquake & then all of them will be destroyed...
Same idea, but instead let the snorlax eat the sunkern and bullet seed.
Option 1: You find the mythical reverse Slaking that loafs around on Turn 1 and add a regular Slaking. You now have two Slakings loafing on alternating turns. Then you take the 10,000 Sunkerns, which are your death fodder. On the turns Slaking 1 is loafing, you send in the hoard as a meat shield for Slaking 2. This Sunkern shield alternates along with the Slaking.
Option 2: You choose Ash and his plot armor protects you. You also take the Staravias because 50 Staravias using teamwork to beat back all these other Pokemon is absolutely something that would happen in an episode.
My castle defense is perfect.
Well sunkerns can act as ultimate defense and offense with 1 using sunny day 100 using endeavor 1k grass whistles and the rest solar beams everything will be asleep with like 10 hp and assuming you don't have the worse rng possible its an ex carry by the sunkerns
Fun fact: Ash has actually died about five times in the Pokémon anime.
@@randomtheorist251 but he always came back
And he still hasn’t aged a day
I had the same idea
The only difference is that I added that the Slakings have Retaliate
The best choice: 20,000 solar beams
I love how John was supporting Super Blah’s choice by saying that the Seviper can’t stab you in the sky, when that was his plan to take care of Staravia
rip john
As he said: "Its what you see is what is true"
Seviper can still learn Flamethrower. It could just burn the birds.
He planned to elevate the seviper on tauros, but that pokemon was already picked. Not to mention wild pokemon probably wouldn't know to start stacking on top of each other
To be fair if they're attacking they have to swoop down low, in appose to just carrying him up high.
I love seeing all the different approaches to the question in this video. Like mikey took a very analytical approach and Jack just went all In without thinking twice
Jack was correct in his reasoning and my god Jack sold me
what are you talking about? His reasoning was pretty sound, i think everyone's was
No, he thought twice.
Twice the Sunkerns that is
He made the scenario in real life
Cuz in real battle stats and other things don't matter that much
With right choice of strategy like the one jack had you can beat the pokemon which is actually super effective on yours
And also sometimes quantity over quality does actually works
I don't to think Jack even thought once
Jack sold me tbh. Though I will say, given the stat total, 20k isn't much more than 10k. So I'd probably go Sunkern alongside Arcanine. Arcanine being generally agreed as the biggest Sunkern counter, as well as giving you, as the trainer, an option to maneuver about the battlefield, as I THINK it's the fastest among the choices. Except Ash. Ash is pretty fast.
Or you could fend them off yourself? They don't stand a chance against the greatest Pokemon of all time.
@@aurorawizard7045 thinking outside the box my guy
@@kdxdeadman Yes. Yes I am.
Nah. The Staravia will be the biggest threat to Sunkern.

I caught a Sunkern just as Jack started talking about his 20,000 Sunkern lmfao. Gotta love how polar opposite his and Mikey's responses were.
You know what? I'm actually agreeing with Jack on this one. 20,000 Sunkern
And he didn't even touch on the real reason: they all have Grass Whistle, and none of the opponents have Insomnia. Game over.
@Tsuchinoko!? yes but you have hands to cover your ears with. And even if snorlax and/or slaking cover their ears there's no way they're getting through 10000 sunkern that fast.

I love how John enthusiastically agrees with every answer
The sunkerns are far and away the best choice. Even if you got none of the other Pokémon you would have more than 100 to 1 for each opposing Pokémon. Lets they are all hypothetically level 50. Even if you had max health IV and EV blissey and each sunkern was only doing one damage per hit the blissey wouldn’t even survive four turns. In reality tho you aren’t going to have the same health as blissey and the sunkerns are not only going to be doing 1 damage to everything. Also, with each Pokémon that the sunkerns kill the remaining Pokémon have even more sunkerns to face, resulting in a snowball effect that would easily win you the battle.

I just am using the arcanines to make suncurn popcorn!
Sunkern, absolutely. 10000 will beat everything else on the field by themselves. Just like the one with rats, people really don't understand how much 10000 is in this situation.
They can use Solar Beam and sunny day
Mix that with Arcanine and any other 1 pokemon
You won't die
that works in regular combat, not in pokemon. Arcanines use heat wave, which will go first as sunkern is so slow, even scarfed sunkern wont outspeed the arcanines. Heat wave, as a spread move, will hit every sunkern, and one shot. We use staravia as the other choice, tailwind, air cutter as a spread move, intimidate. All other pokemon have -6 attack.
And if we arent playing with video game mechanics, staravia uses fly. I leave.
@@zapdite9410 depends on if you believe that a spread move that at most could hit the maximum amount of Pokémon in a horde battle could suddenly hit hundreds all at once in game. Besides, this isn't perfect EV trained if you got to decide all of their moves, this is if you got to decide the Pokémon that would be helping you.
@@zapdite9410 also, you get to choose a second one. Sooo, what if I took the Staravia or Arcanine
@@lexi3312 I was arguing that staravia and arcanine would be the two choices you should take. So you taking them is not a relevant counter-point. And assuming that a spread move which has been shown to hit every pokemon on the other side of the field would continue to function like it does in game is not that much of a leap. ( I direct you to Wolfey's video on one of every pokemon vs. 1 billion lions).
Also if we are assuming that it isnt in game so we dont decide movesets nor ev's then i assume that they can know more that 4 moves, heat wave being one of them.
If we are not playing by the rules of the video games, then fine, but now i just get staravia to fly me away, as i said before.
When seeing this at first, I had the same idea as Mikey. Now that I think about it, I think I would go Sunkern/Arcanine. Arcanine can use Sunny Day, and Sunkern has Chlorophyl. Assuming speed works comparable to Mystery Dungeon in this example, your small army of seeds is moving at Mach speeds, while you ride off on an Arcanine into the sunset
Solar beam barrage
Mikey was definitely the best interpretation of this. Best odds of staying alive and escaping. Nothing was said of WINNING the battle to the last 'Mon.
But it's not 20000 Sunkern XD
Jack definitely knows about power in number. "Apes together stronger".
Bro Ash got hands. Remember when he held a 2000 lbs Pokémon in like it was a gem?
And has the speed to outrun greninja, the jumping power to catch an airborne lugia, and near immortality.
Plus the boy picked up a damn tree trunk like it was a toothpick. They have to use cranes and the like to pick up giant trunks and this boy out here just flexing on people
and that man survived around 100 Thunderbolts, he's practically immortal, but we can disable him.
Oh cmon everyone knows pokemon in anime is sh#t, doesn't makes sense and that shouldn't be even a anime!
@@AmateurEditz7 but it is
Here’s my idea.
I choose arcanines and staravias.
The arcanines run in, and go for the suncurns. Not because I’m scared of them, it’s because they’re pop into pop corn, now with the snorlaxes distracted, we lunge our atack, and when the snorlaxes are spiting out the popcorn because it was on the ground and had not salt or butter, we take only 5 of them out. On staravia snatches and gives me ashes master ball, and I use it on the alpha mityana, now the rest of the pack will obey me. And with a pack of mityanas, lead by 4 arcanines, we get food and give it to the snorlaxes, now they defend me. And now look! It’s an army of Pokémon, now it’s a garenteed win for me!
10000 sunkern as a wall and 50 staravia to pick off the enemy, pretty much you are completly protected by your sunkern hoard while the staravia do the hard work (of course the staravia would also use double team spam so they don't get killed)
1 Sunkern casts sunny day. Now you have 9,999 solar beams ready to go. Nuke the field.
I'm with Mikey. Arcanine has never once let me down and Staravia is excellent aerial support (although Jack's answer is my next favourite)
How about ashes greninja and that frog thing that is ground and water?
Staravia is a flying type. staravia does super effective damage on swampert as it is a flying type, besides, you can literally kill ash, take his master ball and yeet at ash's greninja
@@joustmaster_69 hey yk that ground only doesn't do damage right? Flying is normal against ground.
@@RickCore0H but anyways the ash one they didn't really clarify. But remember theres 50 staravias and theres only 1 swampert. Its common sense that 50 birds win against one toad that cant fly.
@@joustmaster_69 swampert also has rock moves and remember that you can murder birds easily with rocks
here's what I had in mind about John giving us the choice of two slakings. Even with truant if we time it correctly so that each slaking cover each other when truant happened, we can make slaking attack every single time
I mean even if you have a consistent stream of Slaking atacks its still probably more efficient to just pick something else, Slacking's only gonna yeet 1 atack at a time, arcanine's gonna do 4
Are we just going to ignore staravia's intimidate. Slaking is going to start at -6 so its not going do much damage at all even without truant.
Snorlax - earthquake, rock slide, rest, sleep talk
Sunkern - attract, grass whistle, solar-beam, growth, with 1 sunkern knowing grassy terrain instead
Use master ball on arcanine - ability patch to justified (raise attack when hit by dark type)
Roar, Sunny Day, Retaliate, Heat Wave
You can't use a master ball on Arcanine since you already picked 2
anyways that team comp gets murdered by 50 staravias with intimidate
I like the idea of getting other Pokémon gurus on hypothetical’s…I would love to see/hear if you could only make a team of 6 types (max) what would you pick?
All of the staravias can use whirlwind and just throw all the competition away
they also got intimidate to nullify everyones attack
Yeap they gonna just whirlwind all the mons and just eat the rest of the sunkerns.
How a little birdie gonna blow a Snorlax away?
@@tinmandw It's called going by the rules. We could whirlwind a Celasteela.
And arcaine just flamethrower anything that gets theough
Suncurn can act as a meat shield and slacking can wait behind to wake up after truant
What meat? It's a seed XD
Plants vs zombies approach I see
@@adrigl3371 I can see you are also an intellectual
@@tyrantneptune3202 that can learn protect and substitute thats like have 20k pokemon to fight through now witg Jack thats like 40k pokemon to chew through
Well slacking is not a good choice because of truant I would suggest some better more consistent attacker like snorlax or arcanine
So here is what you should do. First you get the Sunkern, tell them to make a tower around you, and give them each a focus sash. That way they can all yank a hit for you. Then you get the Staravia and after every other Pokémon uses a move you tell them to fly and they carry you into the sunset.
20000 sunkern is a really good strategy... Sunkern learns sunny day at lvl 40. All you need is the fastest one to use sunny day and the rest to solar beam immediately. It can also learn double team. It can learn sludge bomb to deal with arcanine and staravia if somehow 19999 solar beams isn't enough. Jack's a genius.
Imagine 50 staravias high above the ground spamming double team while nobody can touch them. Meanwhile 10000 sunkern distract and chip everything with leech seed and solar beam
leech seed in those numbers can kill anything
Imagine 20000 sunkern solarbeaming those 50 staravia in the sky, no matter how much they double team, the whole sky is solarbeamed, so there's nowhere to run
Double team on staravia could come in clutch
can staravia learn sand attack too because that paired with double team makes them invincible
Which is why I chose them
My strategy - Arcanine and Staraptor can use Intimidate because everything but Sunkern are physicla attackers. So I take them and send the Staravias to grind and evolve off Sunkerns while Arcanines use roar to get rid of the Snorlaxs and 1 Slaking. Now I have 1 Arcanine take Ash's Masterball and catch a Slaking. I then have the Slaking use yawn and make everything sleep. They are defenseless and I would win
I mean with 10,000 sunkern basically if you take the Arcanine they can roast them and that will stop them from moving so the staravia can just eat them
Theres 5 snorlaxs 6 with slaking but only 4 arcanines
Intimidate doesn't work for solar beam 🙄, it's sp. Move, and even if one sunkern uses sunny day, solar beam will devastate everything, they are freakin 10000
And yawn only works on one Pokemon mr. Intelligent 🙄 and it takes 2 turns to make the Pokemon to sleep dummy, till then your team is blasted off, with 9,999 sunkerns
Raj: yeah, this big brain time
Same as Purplecliffe, 20k Sunkern.
Sunkern 1: Uses Sunny Day
Sunkerns 2-20k, spam solar beam because there is no charging period.
Another reason to pick sunkern is because so that you DONT NEED TO fight 10000 sunkern, even if you pick arcanine and staravia those pokemon need to make it trough all the other pokemon until they reach sunkern WHICH may or may not already charging their solar beam at you
I’m definitely with purple’s logic on sunkern, however, I would go 10k sunkern and the staravias.
Reasoning: even if we’re assuming that this all out battle won’t apply normal turn based pokemon battling or even worst case, all the sunkern and staravia are level 1 and the rest are 100, I would still say we can probably apply some general turn rule that for every attack the attackers use, the defenders also get an attack (roughly). With that in mind, I look at 2 moves for the sunkern: endeavor and grass whistle. Endeavor would do big damage early (though even 1 damage at a time, 10000 sunkern is up to 10000 damage and going 1 at a time, not 1 damage would be wasted on an already fainted pokemon) and grass whistle gives me some extra time to whittle away at their hp. Now the staravia choice is for 2 reasons. 1. The keep me up and away from the fight. 2. That takes gust (and other similar flying moves) out of the opposition that would be a problem for my sunkern. The main problem besides them is the arcanine group. But there’s only 4 and they will quickly fall to the sunkern army before they can do any significant damage to my 10k strong army.
tl;dr 10k sunkern = unbeatable action economy and staravia keep me at safe distance.
There is the possibility of the arcanine's being able to take out the sunkurns with heat wave or weaken their special attack with snarl. Issue is heatwave has a chance to miss. Normally 90% is good odds but all 10,000 sunkurn have a chance of dodging heatwave.
BRO HONESTLY ALTHOUGH ITS STATS ARE TRASH THE SUNKERNS SWEEP 1 SETS UP SUNNY DAY 9K GO FOR SOLAR BEAM 700 GO FOR THE ARCANINES WITH DOUBLE EDGE AND THE REST LEECH SEED AND IF ITEMS ARE ALLOWED EVERYONE (except maybe the sunkern setting up sunny day because heat rock or choice scarf would be good) IS GETTING FOCUS STASH THEY AINT DYING IN THE FIRST TURN AND ONE SHOT EVERYTHING
Oh wait endeavor is even more op omg sunkerns are insane
Did you just say level one staravias you do realize that is biologically impossible right
@@insanitygaming1526 it was just a hypothetical worst case scenario. The point was that the levels just don’t really matter
Assuming Sunny Day, Grassy Terrain (which Sunkern gains by breeding), +6 SpAtk from Growth and the Solar Power ability activated - a max SpAtk +6 Sunkern using Solar Beam does about 70% of a max SpDef max HP Snorlax. Even without the +6 SpAtk, but still having those EV spreads, Sunny Day and Grassy Terrain, Sunkern will do 25% damage. 10k of those takes down roughly 2500 max bulk Snorlax
Dude before sunkern set up growth stravia or arcanine are gonna kill them all
@@RohitAmbaliya-do6ds do they have spread moves that can hit that many sunkern though?
Wow my strategy was just slaking and snorlax and the slaking throw the snorlax and I beat up ash get a master ball use on a arcane get ot of there because slaking truant activated so they'll be technically using slack off witch heals them have snorlax use rest and repeat the process
Using non-Pokémon terminology: Action Economy is important (only 2 or 3 in battle at a time, only mostly 1 per turn, and so on) so for the first one, 10,000 sunkern and the 50 staravia.
10000 is such a big number, I think only Jack appreciated how that is orders of magnitude more quantity than the others. You have more than 100 sunkerns attacking each of the opponents.
"Some of you may die, but that's a sacrifice I am willing to make."
My choice would be the 5 Snorlax and 4 Arcanine:)
Snorlaxes can just crush everything with Body Slams and the Arcanines just Flamethrower or Earthquake everything.
I do agree Purplecliffe's idea is brilliant.
I had the same idea, random person! :>
Guys, remember Staravia can learn double team naturally, so within seconds, you got hundreds of fake Staravia, making the real ones unhitable, while they use air slash to basically be out of range all of the time. And that, together with the Arcanines, who only need to use one fire move to end all Sunkerns, you are unbeatable.
10k any Pokémon can stall out any 100 poke short of legendaries.
A strategy i didnt see anyone talkin about is simple: 10k sunkern and the arcanine because:
1:10000 sunkern means 10000 sunny days
2: Flamethrower boosted by 10k sunny days while the sunkern charge solar beam. That's it.
Staravia and arcanine staravias picking up arcanines, you ride one, now you have flying arcanines shooting flamethrowers from the sky. OP

in the thumbnail john replaced ash with grunty boi
see in my eyes, I always go with the 10k rats, 50 eagles kind of option, because if they're actively defending, their sheer numbers would be enough to deal with whatever might come my way. After all, how is the man with a gun going to deal with 10k rats eating them alive? Kinda dark, but that's my logic. Plus the birds swooping in would be a massive pain to deal with, so why not have them helping?
I keep forgetting Staravia gets Intimidate, so I'm taking 5 Snorlax and all those Staravia. GUARANTEED Intimidate and immunity to Earthquake.
Why no Sunkern? Well, Earthquake wipes them all out at once.
i agree you should see my response 😂😂
In such posts usually a man is holding a sniper rifle so a man can one shot you before the rats and eagle attack him.
An if you use staravia why don't you just fly away
People keep forgetting that Ash can single-handedly both Beatdown a vigoroth and a Snorlax with a punch he's essentially Goku he both lifted a Nebi and punched a heatran so he cannonically not only has superhuman strength he also has the reflexes of a Pokemon Ranger AKA Tarzan so he's Batman with superhuman strength on top of that Snorlax can learn Shadow Ball Hyper Beam Ice Beam flamethrower and 1 Hyper Beam takes away like 2000 5000 sunkern one Hyper Beam and they're dead Staravia is not going to do anything to you if you're literally just a thousand pounds of fat but they also don't realize that Snorlax can run with that thousand pounds of fat and concussive force behind whatever he needs to hit physically on top of that you can run it like 30 miles per hour
I like how Mikey is super against sunkern and loves staravia while papasea is just the opposite
Everyone missed how good staravia and arcanine actually are here. Arguably two of the fastest choices, and nobody said you had to defeat. you ride an arcanine off into the sunset, with the speed of 50 tailwinds behind you. See the sunkern, slaking, and snorlax in 20 years, whoever is left would be a clean sweep for my team.
Everyone missed that? Staravia and arcanine were what Mikey picked
Surprised no one chose Snorlax.
Just imagine 5 of them body blocking for you and firing off Hyper Beams while your other more offensives based pick takes the front lines, probably Arcanine or Staravia
That's what I was thinking and giga impact could kill 100's of sunkern
Loved how diverse the answers were. Really see how everyone comes in with different opinions of how to handle the situation.
Personally, Sunkern and Arcanine.
One Sunkern keeps up sunny day.
Arcanine uses Flame Thrower.
The rest of the Sunkern will divide into groups bouncing between Solar Beam and Growth until Growth doesn't do anything. Grass Knot for Snorlax and Slaking. They also have attract to slow the others down.
Arcanine will have Double Kick, Thunder Fang, and Psychic Fangs to clean up. If there is a need to.
This was so funny need one more like this my fav poketuber in a great field
hear me out.....staravia and sunkern.basically, the staravia will swallow 200 sunkern each, then fly as high as possible and shoot the sunkern out like bullets.imagine 50 military drones shooting 200 bullets each, theres no way anyone survives that
Then, once only the slaking and snorlax are left, the sunkern will spam solar beam while staravia defend
I have two strategies. In the first one, my Sunkern army uses grass whistle, and then the Snorelaxes just start sweeping with Sleep Talk. In the other scenario, the Snorelaxes form a rest wall while the staravias eat all of the Sunkerns and evolve. while
It's hilarious how wildly different the approaches and reasonings to this have been omfg
Also I'd totally pick Tauros and Arcanine
Why tauros? Ash alone comes with over 50 of them.
@@magster3997 you mean 30?
@@GodzillaGaming14 still more then 7
@@magster3997 well yes
I'd pick Snorlax imagine 5 of them yawning at the same time half of the enemy asleep next turn after i block all the damage with block and then Arcanine with flamethrower and fire blast destruction.
I'm picking the Staravia and the Arcanine, those are 54 intimidates against only physical attackers which renders them pretty useless. Also the Arcanines can deal with the hoard of Sunkern by using heat wave
Step 1: Snorlax use yawn to put everything to sleep.
Step 2: Beat up Ash and get the Master Ball
Step 3: Burn the suncurn with arcanine and giga impact with snorlax for clean up.
Step 4: Catch one Mightyena. ( got to keep one of my favourite Pokémon alive )
Well if we go by pokemon rules and say every pokemon has X PP for its moves and max 3vs3 pokemon, the right choice would be the sunkerns and staraptor the other pokemon would be out of PP and the Staravia could sand attack all so they miss meaning loosing more PP
Purplecliffe: YEAH BUT WHY NOT 20,000 SUNKERNS?!
I fully agree with you. Picking 50 staravia and the sunkurn makes the staravia invincible. No other choices have range. 10 thousand sunkern added together is a BST of 1.8 million. That’s way to much to overcome. The 10000 sunkern could solo all of them
If you choose Staravias and Sunkerns, that would mean that in total, there would be 44 enemies, combining everyone else. That means that for each enemy on the field, you have 1 Staravia and 200 Sunkerns (actually a bit more, since that's if there were 50 enemies), which I think is more than enough to win.
This is literally the same answer as the original animal one. And it is right.
Because 10,000 rats can easily kill anyting
My choice is basically Mikey’s.
Also in the most leveled way without making him overpowered as a choice: let’s say Ash has the option to use the master ball on one of the other Pokémon (instead of saying he has an OP Pokémon he has or never had caught), he’s at least given the option to teach a caught Pokémon TMs and have a coverage. This way his choice can make him any bit on par with other options but not be OP.
but.... 20,000 solar beams

@@ValkyrieHietel no no no 19999 solar beams
@Roger Loe yea... But 20000 kappa
I mean if all the Sunkerns use Leech Seed at the same time... They will die but everything else that attacks you will keep getting your energy so...
I have to choose Arcanine and Sunkern, not only is there so much sunkern to fill a big stadium which can follow Jack's method of solar beam or use leach seed but I also get rid of the Sunkern removal problem and get a lot of enemies taken out quickly by choosing Arcanine, along with lots of range and a quick way to escape if need be
If the 6 stage limit was ignored, the intimidates of 50 Staravia would reduce your attack down to 4%, reducing every physical attack down to under 10 base power -- including *EXPLOSION.*
use 6 S for the strong ones and 1 S for the weak ones
"So its the alpha snorlax" that line had me dying laughing
I took one look at all of them and went with the Sunkern and the Staravia. With 10,000 Sunkern surrounding me, nothing can get to me, and can swarm everything else, no matter how powerful they are.
I’d also like to have the only ones that are capable of flying over the Sunkern and attacking me (the Staravia) to be on my side, thank you very much.
No, wait. Ash has plot armour. If you stay with him, the writers will never allow you to die.
Final decision: Ash Ketchum and the Staravia. Nothing can get you if you fly high enough.
You send in a Slaking and another mon, then on the next turn, switch out the other mon for another slaking. Perfect counter for each other, then the sunkern armada can cover slaking’s back.
Another option could be getting ash and the slaking. Using the slaking strat i mentioned, ash could bring every mon that he’s ever caught over the entirety of the anime, plus his master ball to get one of the other mons, probably a staravia.
You could also take the staravias for intimidate, so almost everything is at -6 (only the phys attackers). The staravia grabs Ash’s master ball and you catch an arcanine. So now arcanine is flamethrowering the sunkern, so no threat there, and then you use snorlax and gigantimax three of them. The other two will run around slamming into everything until the gigantimax runs out and the three others will join them. You flee the scene and call everyone back into their pokeballs, saving yourself and the pokemon that haven’t sacrificed themselves.
Purplecliffe might be one of the funniest people i have ever seen 😂😂😂
I just want to take a second to appreciate the visual in my head that John gave me of seviper riding their mighty steeds; the Tauros. I almost choked on my drink when he said it 😂
Under the assumption that I can keep some of the pokemon I choose in pokeballs, I pick the 50 staravia, and use 10 of them to fly me high I to the air, drop the snorlax from ridiculously high up, creating what is basically a bomb rush, I have the snorlax use protect to prevent them from taking damage, return them to the pokeball and reset for another bomb rush.
In the same way of that song "3 bears and ten thousand rats", two slaking and 10,000 sunkern. They got stun powders and slaking can just tear ass
So assuming that all moves work like how they do in the games, I would go with the mightyenas and the staravias, mightyena learns roar at a decent level and assuming all these pokemon are wild, the fight is pretty much over if they spam roar. Also the staravias are there using double team, distracting all the other pokemon, ash misses his master ball throw and then I take it to catch an arcanine to burn the Kerns and also use roar
Those who know anything about dnd would choose a thing action economy, and pick the sunkern since you’d be able to get 10000 fairly weakly attacks to their what like 36ish attacks at most if you choose the staravia. Even against the strongest pokemon, a ten thousand one damage attacks are gonna be able to more than knock it out.
Not to mention one sunkurn using sunny day so the others dont have to charge solar beam and are free to just spam growth, I feel like the start here is Sunny day with 1 sunkrun, and then have 9999 sunkurn spam growth while the other 10001 are spamming solar beam and then have the 9999 who spammed growth start spamming Solar beam while the other 10001 sunkurn start spamming growth and then all 20k use solar beam at the same time. We could also leech seed the pokemon using about 5k sunkurn while the other 15k are point blanking the target with 6x growth, sunny day solar beams, assuming the battle even takes that long.
2 slaking and 4 arcanine. The slaking hit the ground at the same time, creating an earthquake that sends up pebbles at such a high velocity that they shred through staravia. The earthquake stuns all the Pokémon, but by having two Slaking diagonally with arcanine and me in the middle, then the earthquake contradicts each other, and the tectonic plates under us clash with enough force to make a mountain under my feet. The arcanine start melting the mountain, and by the time the mountain is liquid but still has shape, the slaking have recovered. They punch the molten mountain, and molten lava goes everywhere, with the force creating heat, fully melting the mountain and the lava goes everywhere, destroying all the Pokémon.
Yo purplecliffe just broke the algorithm give this man a damn trophy he killed that lol.
I would go with the staravia and the sunkern to overwhelm them with the amount of sunkern while I escape on some staravia as well as staravias intimidate and they can use whirlwind
I agree with Jack.
20000 sunken?
Let's say each Pokémon, including Ash's Pokémon and a sunken he catches with the masterball. That's 177 Pokémon Vs 19999.
On average, each Pokémon has 45 pp combined, plus 8 struggle turns.
177 X 53 = 9381.
The sunkern will outlast by pure numbers.
Staravias and the Sunkerns. If selecting movesets is also a thing:
Sunkerns? Helping Hand, Ingrain, Leech Seed, Endure.
Staravias? Mirror Move, Rest, Double Team, Arial Ace.
Can you imagine what a 200:1 ratio of Helping Hands would do? Even do a 100:1 so the other 100 can be the defensive front wall, that's still a huge increase in damage.
“Poisoning the Slaking”
...Slaking used facade.
Now if your choice was sunkern , just stall untill facade runs out of pp
But they die in 6 turns after strong facades
Kills 1 sunkern every 2 turns
10000 sunkern can literally just shield any attack, and 5 snorlax just body slam everything else into oblivion. snorlax also can blizzard the staravia
Sunkern small af you could step on it and it would die ngl
I’m going with the 50 staravia and 5 Snorlax.
The staravia’s easily take out the sunkerns with wing attack, so we’re good there. And due to there airborn possibilities, they could probably do really good new real damage to Mightyena, Seviper, and Tauros. The snorlax could probably 2 hit the Slakings, but 2 of them go down. The rest of the snorlax could take out the Arcanines.
Just a little math:
4 arcanine vs 10000 sunkern
1 flamethrower = 50 sunkern
You can burn:
3000 sunkern if your PP is 15x4
4800 sunkern if your PP is 24x4
Meaning that there is still 7000 - 5200 sunkern to take care, and you already out of PP
Looks like you need to do more math
My pick: the arcanine and the snorlax.
The strategy: have the arcanine use extreme speed to steal the master ball for me, use the master ball to catch the alpha of the Mightenyna, now all the Mighteyna are on my side.
woah
Do the mighteyna have an alpha?
@@magster3997 Being wolf-like, and as evidenced in pokedex entries, they do
Being wolf like means nothing since alphas aren’t really a thing
@@salamisandwich3187 Well they are, in nature
My choices: The Two Slakings and and Fifty Staravia.
I'm choosing the Staravias for the same reason as Mikey, that they all have intimidate and are the only flying type Pokemon out of the choices.
I picked the Slakings because if the both have truant, I could just make one attack first, then make the other one attack while the first one is slacking off, the two of them blasting Solar Beam after Hammer Arm after Slack Off.
Also, I feel like twenty-five Staravias could definitely carry a Slaking, so imagine an airborne army of birds with big, fat, superweapons carried under their talons.
So, your choicse is the same as mine for slightly different reasons.
For me, I'd pick Ash. If we decide to let him use any Pokemon that he had in the anime that is back with Professor Oak, he has so many options to wreck everything. Also, I'd pick the Sunkerns too because they would basically be like locusts, swarming everything and firing off Solar Beams everywhere as long as its sunny.
50 Staravia and 10 Seviper. The Staravia have intimidate to lower attack and spam Sand Attack and Double Team, in that order, followed by Wind Cutter to get rid of all those Sunkerns and Close Combat for Super Effective Damage on everything except Arcanine. Sevipers use Toxic on Slaking and Snorlax, Mud Bomb the Arcanines, Poison Fang and Venoshock everything else, using Poison Fang until they're poisoned then using venoshock for the double damage.
I love the part when Mikey was with a bunch of Sunflower seeds that part was so funny. Now if I do this I would pick Ash, the Sunkern so I can have a lot of Sunflora, the Mightyena and Staravia.
Me: hmm... Pretty good reasoning John but I wonder how the base stat totals would factor in. So we need Mikey's opinion here
*video cuts to Mikey*
The suncurn can deal with the staravia, razor leaf, you can throw the suncurn at the staravia, and even if you miss you will still have enough
I was thinking about having 5 snorlax’s bodyblock me from everything and have the 4 Arcanine on the hunt but like 20,000 Solar beams might be a bit much for just 5 Snorlax
At the beginning of this video I was thinking that Jack was going to pick the sunkern and would not be able to explain it in any way that made sense other than to his Gigantamax head. At the end of the video I realized that there was a reason that everyone says he has dynamax brain.
I would use the staravias and snorlax. All the snorlax would be equipped with counter so they could deal huge amounts of damage whilst taking minimal in return. The staravias are all level 35 and need a smidgen of exp to level up so they all gain exp and evolve giving me 50 powerful staraptors. Then one could swoop down and steal ash's master balls. I specifically say balls in plural because Ash by thee time the screenshot was taken had already visited 5 regions and has had a chance to steal each of those region's master balls. And according to this logic, Ash should theoretically have 5 master balls and thus I would catch the arcanines and one of the tauros or seviper or mightyena.
Ash has visited 5 regions and COULD steal 5 masterballs, but he didnt, the option isnt a theoretical ash that did whatever you feel like saying he did, its ash and a masterball, thats it
Also nice Delta pokemon pfp
I had delta blastoise as my starter so i like youre pfp
Thanks
John: Seviper stabs in the sky at the Staravias
Also John: The Sevipers can't stab you up in the air
4 arcanine: assuming I can give em a bit of an ev spread I'll get max speed and max spatk to each. Make sure they know Heat Wave.
5 snorlax: mat block turn 1.
4 heat waves and boom. Everything else on the field is dead because spread moves hit all opposing pokemon.
Multiple problems:
1. Heat Wave hits at most 5 Pokemon.
2. Heat Wave can miss.
3. Sunkern learns Protect.
Strength in numbers folks, we gotta do Staravia and Mightyena
>"strength in numbers"
>ignores the 10k sunkern
Just ride one of the staravia using fly and have the rest using heatwave or round to kill everything else. And on top of that after killing all the sunkern and arcanine set up sunny day make that heatwave stronger to finish off everything else.
All the Staravia carry all the Arcanine which use Heatwave in a big old groundsweeping areal formation, like in the last episode of ATLA, with the powered up firebenders mowing through the Earth Kingdom below
@@stealthlock6634 that would work too yea
For the first one I would pick arcanine and snorlax because arcanine is pretty obvious can destroy all the sunkerns ash and staravia maybe a couple sevipers as well and the snorlax is an odd choice you might think but it’s move pool is unbelievable if he just uses a fighting type move he basically takes out all of the Pokémon by himself plus he got flame and thunder attacks for sunkern and staravia respectively so it’s an easy win(also I don’t think you/the person being defended should be able to catch Pokémon or do anything at all since your being defended by Pokémon not attacking)
Snorlax and those 50 bird mons I forgot the name of, 10 birds carry each snorlax like a wrecking ball. Nobody stands a chance.
1:52
Personally I'd pick the Staravia cause they are all around great pokemon and they can just fly me up into the air out of the other's reach.
And I'd also pick the sunkurns, for the sole reason that I dont care how strong you are, 10k sunkurns would eviscerate all of the PP of all the other enemies then just eventually pick their struggling foes apart.
no pp tho
Eh even without pp, the 10k will outlast any other choice in wars of attrition. Kinda like how pikmin can beat those larger creatures.
@@TerreiSingularity not rly,unless u got 20K
Eh too bad their isnt a simulator for this
Easy :
50 Staravia and 4 Arcanine
10 satarvias will carry Me , and 40 will carry 4 arcanine (10 staravia for 1 arcanine ) . Like that , arcanines will attack from Air and because none of them are long range, we win because none of the opponent can attack air . ( also cant we pick staravia and use them to fly and run away from wherever we are ?)
I would use the satarvia to pick up the snorlax, fly up high and just drop them. They probably have enough hp to survive but the damage the impact would do would be insane. Also sunkern
10,000 sunkern in a circle around me, blasting solar beams at distant attackers and compact giga draining anything that gets too close, healing themselves in the process, and the 50 staravia, to 1. Eliminate the flying threat, and 2. Whirlwind things away to buy time for the sunkerns
Well, in my opinion the snorlax and arcanine would be the best choice cause The snorlaxes can create a box around you so that even when they die their dead bodies will still protect you from attacks, and the arcanines could obliterate all of the pokemon.
John, this concept ya came up with is so funny. I'd pick the 10 Seviper and the Arcanine quartet. Or Mikey's idea.
Arcanine and Staravia for me as well. The two making flaming tornadoes and hurricanes sweeping through the sunkerns. Others are just colateral damage.
Who knows, maybe you have a sun stone the size of a boulder. Just use that to evolve All the sunkern, and they just Leaf Tornado/ Leaf storm/ petal dance/ giga drain/ magical leaf everything.
