You should try forming the strongest African nation in the game: The United States of America. You get Afro-American as Primary Culture if you pass Cultural Exclusion within 10 years of the civil war. From there, all African states will incorporate in just 5 years
I accidentally did this, civil war started, didn't know how the reconstruction journal was meant to be solved, got afro American as a primary culture. Then I started sucking the pops out of Africa with mass migrations

why does it do that? is it just because it's in the same culture group or something (if that's the case all african tags would be able to no?) otherwise I find that pretty weird since african-americans mainly come from west africa specifically....
@@goranpersson7726 Its specifically that Afro-American has the trait "African Heritage" which is the culture trait associated with, and shared with, all sub-Saharan African cultures. If your Primary culture shares a cultural trait with whoever's homeland it is, its only 5 years to integrate. If you are already the primary culture, it takes only 2 years. In some rare cases its 10 years if you share only the minor trait (such as language) but not heritage. And otherwise its 20 years. In this same vein all European heritage nations can integrate European and many new world states in 5 years as well.

I would really enjoy a "Progressive Benevolent Autocrat" play-through challenge, some medium sized nation of your choice, you can never introduce voting, but you have to try and "give" workers rights, multi-culturalism, public schools, poor laws, healthcare, women in the work place rights and no serfdom or slavery etc.
Pretty good way to play if you have the Imperial City. That thing lets you get governments that would otherwise be untenable concerning legitimacy.

If you like stupid nuclear accidents, how about whiskey on the rocks incident, which almost caused a war between the soviet union and sweden because a sub (armed with nuclear weapons) which was shadowing a swedish exercise in swedish water beached itself. And the soviets than attempted a show of force. In the end it was resolved peacefully, after the soviets exhausted every excuse under the sun.

What sucks is that this game is divided into two parts:1800's and 1900's. In the 1800's you expand and fix your country. In the 1900's you see your middle class expand rapidly; your standard of living skyrockets; your economy booms; you have people flood into your country and you see the true extent of the game.

It would be interesting to see the continuation of this campaign if it's convenient for you from a video and views point of view. Yugoslavia conquers the rest of the Balkans to become a regional power by kicking out the Ottomans and increasing living standards in that area.

Laith please do a Romania campaign, both Wallachia and Moldavia have some unique flavour now. When you research Nationalism as either of them you'll unify into a personal union and you'll get some land off of Russia for free.
Play as Denmark; Puppet/annex Sweden, annex Norway and reestablish Denmark's former colonies which are Ghana (Africa), Tranquebar, Serampore and Nicobar Islands (India), St. Thomas, St. Jan (now St. John) and St. Croix (North America)
