Thank you, John for staying out in the rain to bring us the videos today.
My pleasure. Today was fun... the time flew by!
Remarkable good job in keeping the lens dry and clear.
Hi John. 2 things. I missed the start, is Radon Arnie? Also if they made the gates in one side and out the other, wouldn't that make life easier
@@LondonCityWalks Those 4 guys were wearing the same clothes as they did on Monday , either they don't have a washing machine or can't be bothered to change ! You did the right thing letting MOD know ! .I recognised the other ones you mentioned as well from being thrown out before , they seemed to make a quick exit though . I said before I'm sure someone is breeding tourists out on the Parade ground 😀. The week leading to Easter lots of people on holiday what will it be like at the weekend I dread to think !! Thank you for continuing to film in the downpour you're a star 🌟 . Hope you got home ok have a quiet evening xxx
I’m Ex Police John, I served 20 years in fact. I’d say you are spot on! That group of 4 are extremely dodgy. I would hope and I imagine the Officers there have got their number. Their behaviour is totally suspicious. Unfortunately until they actually do something illegal the officers cannot stop them to ascertain their details
They now know they're being watched both by MDP and by John and his friends with their cameras , evidence on film !
Can't sadly trust guys with those faces anymore, not after stabbings etc, with their "brethren" yelling about "Allah" etc
John I think you are right about the nervous behaviour of the 4 People.
@@c.b.h1151😊😊
@@kathellison8084😊
Their behavior is off. Wouldn't trust them as far as I can spit. Very pleased you alerted the officers about their weirdness. Good job john.
John , you’re correct. I recognize that same group as well. They were acting the same way. Thanks for dropping a word to the police. They should be watched for their patterns.
Those four are not tourists at all they are observing. Thankyou for informing the officers
100% right about those 4 guys, something really out of place. They look as if they’re are up to something.
Remember seeing them also
Up to no good or just acting like idiots but have to say trouble
If they look suspicious, they should immediately be told to leave.
Why weren’t they ? It’s obvious they weren’t normal tourists.
Agreed. I understand they don't want an international guffaw. But considering they religious dogma they should stay on the DFL! WORLDWIDE.
We definitely thought that group of 4 men looked as sketchy as heck! If that soldier was my son standing there with these 4 questionable guys, I would be concerned for my boy. Glad the police were circling around! Also, it is fantastic that John films what could become a potential incident! Nice work John!
Should put up a sign , "This is not a petting zoo"
These are working horses
Thing is, most of these tourists don’t speak English, never mind read it, so they wouldn’t know anyway.
They will have a smart phone with a translation app.
Elite Soldiers on ground and including the horses ❤
Also,this is not Disneyland
Kudos to the Police! They are there everyday, rain or shine putting up with all these people..Cheers to them!
Yes, that little group of guys look suspicious. Why would they hang around there.
Their behavior is very strange
Poor 'Arnie'! The horse is shaking it's head and tossing it to get away from the hands. If someone gets badly bitten it won't be the horse's fault.
Don't tourists read the signs? Guides of non-English speaking groups should inform of the danger of moving too close to the big horses which are not kids' ponies. The guards need more Annie's and Ormonds !
Also people could have anything on their hands, spicy food, hand cream, toilet germs, sneeze snot germs, who knows what...
wish people would learn to read the horses body language.
i don’t understand how people can not understand animal body language or watch how an animal’s ears express their feelings. Do they even understand human body language!? 🙄😐
I suspect most don’t care to bother reading either.
Yes, that crowd is huge. I can understand why the horse is tossing his head and getting annoyed.
The crowd needs to read the sign and show respect to both the guard and the mount by keeping a respectful distance.
Bring back Ormonde and Co.!
John you are absolutely right that those guys were there Monday . I agree that there is something off about them . The way they stared at the officer and kept staring at the trooper . The one that is in the grey sweater seems to be the leader .
I agree it is time that the notice was changed to include do not touch the horses
But,make it a separate LARGER sign
Yes to.many people are touching the horse now both horse and guards have jobs to don't. need people at pulling the horse around 😢😢❤
I think you should trust your inner voice, or your spidy senses. I think all of you who film are an asset to the Guards security. I believe we are born with those senses they are a gift to us.
They are the same group as on Monday and look like they are checking out the security of the place
I thought the same thing! The only people who would act like they are screams terrorists or something similar to me!
" Your spidey sense tells you they are trouble makers , John . "
😂
@@vmcougarintn5035 😊👍🖐
Yes, those guys are definitely suspicious and up to something!!
Looks like they are casing the joint!
Those four blokes need to be watched closely. When I was in the forces we had to look out for this kind of suspicious behaviour. When I saw them in your last video I became wary of their body language. The laughter had me on edge. While they were laughing I waned to look about to see if there was something happening in the background. Hopefully they are not seen again! But I have a feeling they will be back!
Your spidey senses are 100% on the money, John. Congrats for getting up their collective hairy nose. What a bunch of creeps.
'Thank you for your service' has become popular here in the US especially since 9/11
My grandfather served in army ww2, 3uncles (one army, one navy & one air force up to secret service), & cousin army. The one uncle & cousin both have their hands registered as deadly weapons from the training they went through which doesn't stop idiots in their hometown from picking a fight in hopes they'd fight back to put them in jail. Currently, i've 2 brothers in the marines. I grew up learning to respect their service & others service & sacrifice. Once returned home, they may be here but their experience of what they went through comes back with them & more often than not held in silence, except in my papas case where he had ptsd & night terrors where we'd hear only slivers of what he endured & learned at a very young age if papa talks in his sleep stay at a safe distance & get an adult. He tackled & hurt my grammy once during an episode, reliving his trauma in dreams. it wasnt him but the condition & experience he came home with. All servicemen should be respected, with a courtesy of thank you for your service. Here in the usa for ceremonies & the like, its usually family & close friends who attend. They're not usually this open to public unless its a parade or on active duty in closed off areas for protection or help relief. As an american looking in at the kings guard being so open with active service members & tourists growing disrespect, perhaps new measures of rules should be implemented.
Here in Canada too.
People need to watch their pockets
Animals are not stupid : When my dog Bullet tells me he wants to go for a Pee, I open the back door and if it's throwing it down with rain he pokes his head out, gets his nose wet, goes into Reverse and looks at me like ::: *_"NO WAY am I going out there.... I'll wait till it stops raining...!"_* 😂
😂😂😂😂
Ha Ha. Then walk around crossed-legged I imagine.
We trained all our Rotties to go outside in all kinds of weather. Because they were working dogs, either for Police work or S&R, we trained them all with the same command. Go do hurry up!! And then we'd have a stack of drying towels by the door when they all came in. All 4 adult dogs. 2 males and 2 females. The one male we'd tell him to Patrol, and he'd go around the whole 300 acres and do his business while on patrol, the other 3 we trained to go to one spot in the back yard. When they came in, they were trained to wait, and we'd dry them off. They knew if they waited they got a treat at the end. Best Regards from a Retired Paramedic, a S&R Dog and Handler Team Trainer and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦. Who right now is re-certifying 2 S&R teams in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. And will be home in Ontario for Easter dinner!!!
My three are the same. They hate the wet
All my dogs knew they would get a good rub down with a towel when it was raining/snowing and they loved that!! They just leaned into it. Think it took care of some of the itches they could not reach. 😆😉
Just what are they up to? Surveillance?
Do not like or trust them.
horses or tourists?
That group did crowd both arches but, if you look at Mondays coverage again you'll see they come out & lean against the wall between the gate & the mounted trooper on camera left ! It's alarming now they're back with , at least, one more person !
Whenever my mother saw a group of lads skulking about she used to say “they are up to no good”. She was always right. They have nothing better to do than make fun of the guards and get themselves on You Tube. I honestly believe we should bring back conscription from the age of 16. No exceptions for any religion if you live in the country you abide by our rules. UK is not ours anymore it’s very sad. I was born in the fifties where we were taught to respect our elders and people of authority. They were also strict in the schools too. Nowadays the children especially the teenagers do what they want. Even back chat their teachers parents don’t care and teachers are now very restricted and unable to give out punishments. With regard the rain John I just walk down the high street as the heavens opened. My trousers were soaked. Yet when I went out it was sunny. Snow on the way apparently it is certainly turning very cold. Good old UK 😂
You and your mother are were very right how can you spend 70 million pound on illegals and have an terrorists groups flag over your most famous church why weren't they stopped 🤔?
100 per cent agree I was born in the sixties.
Completely agree with you , the sort of behaviour we see too often would not be tolerated under any circumstances . Respect for everyone was expected of us , politeness , please and thank you , standing up on the bus for an adult , helping to carry bags , running errands for elderly neighbours and not expecting anything in return . I remember going to cross the busy road to school with my friend and being almost terrified to see a policeman there instead of our lollipop lady 😶. He was lovely though and talked to us while we waited 😊. I brought my children up the same way .
" I was born in the fifties where we were taught to respect our elders and people of authority. " Rubbish.
If that was the case there'd have been no racism, the police wouldn't have set up the Guildford Four, there'd have been no sex offences against children and women, no assaults on homosexual people...the list is endless of the corrupt, violent and vicious bigotry and criminality and anti-social behaviour that occurred when you were growing up.
The facts disagree with you.
I used to think American police were useless but found another group now.
About 30 years ago we visited London and Horse Guards. There were no mobs of tourists milling about and absolutely no armed police officers anywhere. What a difference between then and now. I don’t know what’s happened but it certainly isn’t good.
The changes were brought about due to Irish terrorist attacks that killed several guards and horses as well as injuring many more
Dit herken ik, wat was het anders, maar ook de gewone dreiging was er niet, nu moet je echt met alles rekening houden.
Hi john u did the right thing telling the police, the feeling we get is that they are there to plan something its creepy. The big lad had a picture with the horse the other day he placed his hand on the horses neck and the horse was not happy. Thank u for bringing us these great videos ❤
They are loitering. They are not tourists
What is with the touching of the horses nose?
Just take your photo and MOVE away!!! I feel so sorry for the horses with the onslaught of people!!! Imagine if one of the horses decides they've had enough? Carnage!!!
They're very well trained though
That poor horse clearly didn’t want all those people mauling it. Time to change that notice to DO NOT TOUCH THE HORSE.
Get the brats away from the horses. Leave them alone!
Yes very suspicious behaviour and trying to stare police and you down so out of place
Offering up their children I see! I was once smacked straight on in the face by a horse’s head. I saw stars. Literally! I can still remember the pain and I was 16. If people only knew how much pain a horse can inflict just by turning its head, they’d stop crowding around them. Not to mention those huge feet. I reckon getting your foot smashed would be a deterrent . I’m really surprised it doesn’t happen more often.
I absolutely love how much pleasure you get out of the idiots…😂 So many of them these days. 🤦🏼♀️
Thank you John from the southern USA. Great videos
the horse is displaying his dislike with ears back
Why do people get so close respect their invasion of space.
To be honest there wasn't much room for anyone today. If Rarden had spooked, some folks would have been trampled.
Crazy amount of Eedjits today
Another site calls them tourons(like morons)
Poor horse. Poor, lovely nose. She definitely didn’t like all those poking fingers.
That group of guy’s hanging around the soldiers sure does look shady! Oh and John, the sound of the raindrops on your umbrella is relaxing to me. I just wished it wasn’t so miserable for you! From your Pennsylvania fan in the USA!!
Part 2 first today as Part 1 is still 'Processing' 💪
0:02 I thought i was going daft😂 i thought i haven't been notified of part 1 glad we got that sorted Thank you John❤
1 or 2 both will be very informative and entertaining I’m sure ❤

If a horse is trying to bite you wouldn't that tell you don't touch ? Stupid comes to mind
You’d think….but apparently to this lot it means “yes by all means continue being annoying twats”
Unbelievable,, unbelievable.i feel for the beautiful horse and the Guard.
John, the group of four are the second wave of the guys I told you about last year. They are middle eastern but the language they are speaking is not straight up Arabic... I thought I caught some French words. My intuition about these types are never wrong. They are planning something for the Spring/Summer because horse guards don't have enough police to handle what they plan. The last group was four too and they are off at other tourist spots.
You mean there are people going to tourist spots? Heaven help us.
Understanding the story of the Trojan Horse and how the enemy entered into the city behind the fortress walls of understanding open borders and migration to Europe is a biblical testament of prophecy of Jesus Christ to everyone needs to understand the history of this world and end of times prophecy and the present time period we’re going through now to understand revelation of Jesus Christ is the truth behind this world. Fore warned fore armed!!
@@4ebees There Is a difference between visiting and loitering.
I reckon they're doing more than loitering, like someone said it's like they're casing the place, i reckon they're clocking routines myself but cropped hair is def military @@cf3443
People are just nuts.I continue to be amazed at the disrespect of young people it’s terrible.😢😢
Poor horse it’s awful the way they are crowding him the guard should tell to stop when there’s so many people. Great video John 😊
Hi John, as always, thank you so much for your thoughtful informative videos. Sadly, these daily scenes of mass tourists squeezing through the yard of Horseguards are becoming unsustainable, and it's not even the main summer season yet! Is no one in the MOD security teams worried for public safety, the safety of the military & indeed the lovely & very patient horses. Mass tourist groups should not be allowed in the yard. No suitcases or large bags or backpacks either. I worked in Whitehall for a very long time and used the yard to cross between government departments & Parliament. I never encountered such issues as I see today. To even enter the Palace of Westminster now is tedious but warranted. I fear the tourist companies are getting greedy & the numbers they guide are sublimely large through the yard. Don't get me started on the foreign students! The rudeness amongst some of them is disgraceful but also very sad to serving troupers who give their lives to king and country. As you have highlighted, there are other groups of mainly younger persuasions who are just as ignorant! You did say the military personnel appreciate your time and videos. Can you show or highlight how, as myself, amongst others, worry desperately for the security, well-being of the troupers and horses. It's time for change of how the worlds tourists are allowed to enter this precious space! Please, please help John! My best wishes, Theresia
It's always off when they look around to see who's watching, such as you. If you notice, no one else seems to mind to be on camera, but they seem to be really concerned you are filming them.
Why can't they Just leave the poor Horses alone. Would they like someone rubbing around there FACES. Unbelievable I feel sorry for the Poor animals bless them.
Wow, so many people. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
When I see images like these, it makes me really happy and relieved that I live in the peaceful, quiet countryside. Xx
It’s heaven isn’t it I live in a little village and it’s so quiet love it .

It is Ann, but there again I have friends in London, and although they love it here when they visit, they are city people through and through.
We're all different aren't we, it would be a boring world if we were all the same wouldn't it xx
Me too. A small quiet Anglo-Saxon founded market town set in the Wessex countryside. Bronze Age barrows, Iron Age hillforts, Medieval castles, rolling fields and woodland. If one really wants to see "Ye Olde England🏴" then one should leave the beaten track. London has its attractions but there's so much more to England in particular and the UK in general.🇬🇧
@@Wulfyrthat’s exactly what I did when I was visiting my family in Braintree. The countryside was gorgeous and people so kind. Unfortunately I’ll probably never get to visit again, but I’ll not forget the visit. I got to go a couple of times while I was stationed in Europe.
Let's hope it stays that way, Evan where I am there has bern more and more houses built .@@Wulfyr
I’m glad the trooper is back in the box. That way people stop with the feeling hands 😊
Hi John. IQ as an onion. Lmao 😅😂😂. Hi Rarden 💗. It’s Rardens twin Tyranny. ❤😊Oooooh it’s insane there.
I’m guessing it was the other twins day for the brain cell.
Those guys who were back today did go out the front on Monday. They were standing to the left of the horse and guard in the box on the right. l live in Victoria, Australia on the coast west of Melbourne. We are now in urgent need of a few days of heavy rainfall, my garden is so dry. Watching and listening to the rain in your video was delightful for me.
How do the guards and horses stand this? Beyond belief 😢😢😢😢
John i have had to date 31 likes for my comment saying bring out Ormonde.
I have watched your videos for a long time, and I have noticed that you have a brilliant judgement on people. 😊
Yes, they are correct in saying that nothing exists to advise visitors from staying out of the arches. Perhaps it is time for a sign to be posted.
They were so friendly and sincere it was hard not to sympathise TBH.
I agree, a sign or something would be a good idea.
I don't think it is intentional by some people, especially for those who really don't know too much about horseguards. Xxxx
There is a sign say the horses BITE, still stupid people shove their hands in the horses face.
@@susaneglinton2184: Yep, right up there in black and white. Add to that the visitors who are getting nipped and bitten right in front of them no less. It must be the growing trend in thinking by people who really believe that rules don’t apply to them. Add to that the “ surely that would never happen to me”….”besides, & surely, those rules and directions can’t possibly apply to me.”.
@@susaneglinton2184 there’s a great difference between warning visitors of possible danger and telling them they are prohibited from doing something. You really cannot equate the two. Visitors are allowed (even encouraged) to touch the horses even though they might bite or kick. Visitors seeking shelter under the arches are treated like trespassers, even though there is absolutely nothing warning them not to go there. A simple, portable “No Entry” sign placed on the boundary would save everyone a deal of aggravation. We’ve been suggesting one for years, with no improvement, so the policy can’t be that important to the guards.
AMAZING filming John on a very wet day,Well Done My Friend.
Jon. Its so dangerous with all these people..that poor horse...if he panics there will be nowhere for him to go..these poor troopers. Times like those there should be an armed guard or another trooper..
Those 4 were in ur previous video..most concerning the way that they r just hanging around like that...
Agreed
Very they,re making me concerned
4:59 The horse is laying his ears back now, a good sign he’s had enough. I don’t like it when people invade my 3 feet of space and this horse definitely does not either.
That trooper looks amazing he could be straight out of a film.
The trouble is that some of these visitors seem to think this is a theme park set with actors. They cannot grasp that they are in the guards work place.
Despise loitering like that!!!! definitely causes concern
Love to see tourist admiring the Horses not annoying them
Hi John those 4 are up to something glad you have them on camera.thank you John.
That many people around the horse is an accident waiting to happen !! If the horse gets spooked people WILL BE TRAMPLED!! And it won't be the horses fault or the guards.
I hold my breath everytime a young child is sacrificed in front of rarden the parents continue to hold the kid even when being nearly bit its obvious the horse does not want you near why do you have to wait till you get bitten
Those guys are very suspicious. The fact they hanging out in the rain, and dont seem real tourist like. They are watching, especially the comings and goings. I hope the police are on it. Stay safe please.
Why doesn’t the guard tell them to back off. The horses don’t like it and the people are so stupid!!
It makes me think of the tragedy that Horse Guards suffered years ago. This made the me ache in the pit of my stomach
💯 right John those 4 were in part 2 on Monday doing just the same wearing the same clothes and looking very suspicious. Why don't people understand when the horse puts their ears back they are going to bite you 🙄 such ignorant and disrespectful people. Thank you John and stay safe❤❤🇬🇧🇬🇧
What was it like during the pandemic. Were there horse guards. I admire each and every one of the soldiers and horses for their patience.
Your right about those Guys they are up to something
I spotted them just before you raised the question of them being 'rapid repeat' visitors! I thought they were dodgy in your Monday video and now I'm convinced of it. You're spot on! I wondered whether they were pickpockets working the crowd on Monday. Do keep your camera on them or even have a chat to one of the Officers on duty.
Totally agree!!…..definitely dodgy!!😱😱😱
Yes they were John they were there on Monday because I follow your videos. I recognize that faces. They were very suspicious then and they are suspicious now I thought I was seeing double because I had the feeling they were already there. I went back and checked the video and it’s the same bunch.😮😮😮😮😮
This group is much too large
Wierd behavior for men that age, the group of 4 men were there on Monday.. I'm sure the guards have an eyes on them.
Imagine all those hands coming at you at once….people don’t think.
Good morning everyone , all the way from Australia. Another great video of the horse guards. The guard who walks through 19.50, has the most amazing tattoo, and is built like a tank. He has the broadest shoulders and strong built body, possibly one of the most strongest guards there in my oppinion. He would know how to handle a horse that got out of control or people if he was needed
I can't believe how busy it is for a weekday.
Yes,I felt the same way about those four creeps…
Lovely to see Radan back in action. This wouldn't happen if they were not allowed near the horse, go Radan keeping biting. there is a definite need for crowd control, no other military establishment would allow this to happen. This sort of crowding in an emergency situation people would be trampling over each other. It is common sense never to allow these things to happen ever! Obviously the people in charge have no common sense. It always amuses me how put out the people react when a guard goes to talk to another guard, there is no understanding at all this the guards and horses work place once again whose fault is it nobody has put any signs telling people this? The people in charge! Great Radan and Tyranny back together, keep biting lady and gentleman💖 That was the most gentle get out of the arches I have ever heard. Unlike the blues guard last week. I prefer a loud shout myself. They never lose that door quietly, why is there so much activity on the Gates man side, it was always so quiet there before. Too many entitled people these days. This police man does a good job he doesn't suffer fools gladly. yes it is the same group John, some people never learn🙄
Invasion of his privacy. Where are the adults of those you g adults?
Yikes! I bet the guard would like to just yell STOP! So many people are just dim💡
Very odd I remember them very suspicious 🤔
Please don't complain about the rain. It looked lovely. I live in Western Australia and we haven't had rain for seven months. We're hoping for a wet winter this year.
Goodmorning from North Carolina John...im telling you I'm getting an anxiety attack just watching this. This is totally overwhelming. That poor horse. I think the guardsman should tell them GET BACK DONT TOUCH THE HORSE!!!
Very off and gives me a creepy feeling
Those 4 are probably scoping out the habits of the soldiers and how observant the police are and if there are any holes in security.
Hi John, how do they ever know if any of these people are dangerous or not and there to hurt someone, it's scary 😢😢😢😢😢
I'm shocked!🧐😡
Why did the officers let them hang around.
I like the young lad, who solutes the soldier, after his photo. Repect to the young man.
Horses sense fear. People have no business getting near them if they're afraid of horses. I don't know what they expect from the horse when they're standing there with their hands out like they have something for the horse to eat. keep your hands away from the horses! And the thugs should be escorted out.....no reason necessary!
With you on that one John, they really look like trouble.Just waiting, like you to see what they are up to.Best you don’t confront them though. Please don’t panic around so quickly, makes me dizzy.😂😂
Mischievous Lifeguards putting our favourite Rarden out for a full touron buffet 😂😂😂😂
These guys are just strange I’m with you those four look like their up to no good.
I cant speak horse but i can understand when an animal wants space.
Look at the crowds!! I was last in London about 12 years ago & I am sure it wasn't like this! Busy, yes but not to the extent that people are shoulder to shoulder. Thank you for being there John, you are recording Social History for future generations.. Your Spidey Senses are bob on with those four, at least police are aware. Thanks again.
