I want to teach her to be the best female she can be; respectful of herself, respectful of others, thinks critically, takes accountability and has pride in the things she does instead of relying on her looks.
I also have a young son. Sometimes I worry about what the dating pool will look like in the future for him but if I teach him to focus on himself and ignore the game, he will eventually find a wonderful woman who will love him fully as he deserves.

I try to be; I'm definitely not perfect but I love my kids to the moon and back and will do everything in my power to teach them how to be the best individuals they can be. Social media is definitely a huge problem, but I feel like too many parents try to be their kids' friends rather than their parents. So no social media for my kiddos, no phones, etc.
Definitely please teach your daughter accountability. Too many women have no idea what that is. It's horrific.

I remember back when I was in high school, I was getting harassed by a girl and the teachers didn’t do anything to stop it, they legit told me to stop being dramatic. That is until my parents decided to take legal action towards the school. I was confused back when I was a teenager and I was secretly in the closet at the time. This level of harassment did leave a permanent scar where I felt unsafe during my time growing up and even now as an adult, I still have anxiety about the trauma I received back then.

I have mixed feelings about that. It depends on whether the mom is in the daughter's life or not. If not it would be very confusing for the little girl to almost be a part of every mommy interview. That could be a little rough for the little girl. I would probably not let them meet my daughter until I knew who they were serious.
