I dated a woman for almost 8 years, she was older than me, had kids from 2 different parents, but i honestly LOVED her. she always made less money than me, specially the last 2 years where she made like 1/5 of what i made. I always gave her money even if she didnt ask for it, thousands every month, 1 year ago i was burnt out with the job i had, my mental health was declining, insomnia, anxiety, etc, when i mentioned to her i was about to quit, she was all like "do it baby, we'll figure it out, i will help you if possible, we are in this together" in the middle of the time since we had that convo and the day i finally quit, she got a new job and she was making similar money to me. i quit and a few months later we broke up the relationship because she started having some weird/shady attitudes. She never game me 1 cent.

I think 1930's to early 2000's was a golden age as there were so many religious women with the belief to be loyal to their man even if both were poor, but now, at least in the western world, that is gone.
So now, you cannot get a "loyal" woman very easily, and so the entirety of the situation has to be looked at from a different angle.

Personally I feel if you're not in the doctor office you shouldn't be called doctor. I mean should we make everyone else call us by our titles? When I'm out doing things should I make everyone call me "supervisor", or "master mechanic", "Major General", "Police officer" "Security guard" and whatever else. Most all of us have titles, the doctors are just so arrogant when they expect to be called doctor outside the office. It takes a lifetime to become a Master Carpenter, so saying someone went to school so and so long makes no difference. Keep that at work, outside work treat everyone fair and don't talk down to them and force them to call you something other than their name or sir or miss.

Family courts take a dim view of one individual in the marriage winning/acquiring a windfall of sudden wealth, hiding it from their spouse, and then divorcing them in an attempt to keep it all for themselves - and this is why the court awarded all of the money to her now ex.
