No more living in confusion, no more hoping. If you want to know for sure you're going to heaven when you die, just turn from your guilty conscience. Follow God to the best of your knowledge. So if anything makes your spirit uncomfortable stay away from it. But people shouldn't overthink their relationship with God, just focus on today. Not all Christians are on the same level but just don't plan or linger in what you learned is sin. The Holy Bible states that anyone can turn to Jesus, even people who sold their soul to the devil, like witches, psychics, sorcerers, satanists, people who participate in witchcraft. But your life here on this earth is the only time you have to make up your mind.
At this point, you have to believe Jesus was more than a messenger or a good person. He was sent by God to be Savior of the world and to die for our sins. He was crucified, buried, resurrected three days later, he walked the earth for forty days then ascended into heaven. There were eyewitnesses who recorded events that took place in his life and resurrection. Information concerning Jesus' life and crucifixion was passed down through written history and oral tradition. Ask Jesus to forgive you for every sin you have committed. It doesn't matter how you do it, but just tell him that you repent. You turn from your old wicked ways and turn to him. Tell God that you accept his son Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior...
For now on, don't plan or linger in what you learned is against the Bible. Use what you learned so far, and apply it to your life. Once you reach a certain age, your conscience tells you what's right and what's wrong. If you can't picture Jesus giving in/ or behaving a certain way, do not give in. Not every sin will be specifically listed in scripture but you will know when you feel the guilt. To give you a good understanding of what sin is, it's lying, profanity, extortion, threatening, anger, drinking, masturbation, seduction, homosexuality, sex outside of marriage, unfaithful in relationships or marriage, trying to intentionally get high, child abuse/neglect, trying to publicly humiliate someone or put their sin on a stage, fighting, bullying, biased, prejudice, revenge, retaliation, intimidation, harassment, antagonizing, assault, violence, murder, pedophilia, racism, stealing, pornography, sorcery, abortion, encouragement/support for sin, hypocritical judgment and judging by appearance. You can also read Leviticus 20:1-17 and 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. God requires us to make righteous judgments such as; encouraging people to live righteously according to his commandments and standing up for what is morally right with empathy. And always keep in mind that any spiritual meditation is very dangerous if you're not focused on the spirit of Jesus. Sin can no longer be your intentions. The sin is the act, so when you have evil thoughts running through your mind. Cast it out, meditate on uprightness. But when you do end up sinning at some point, ask Jesus to forgive you. Jesus knows you can be in tough situations that involve sin but you have to come up with a plan. Don't get comfortable in sin and do your best to get out of it. You have to hate sin, continue to fight out of it. Jesus knows if you're really trying, he knows your intentions. He knows if you really hate sin.
Forgive others just as Jesus has forgiven you. Unforgiveness will make you vengeful and God doesn't want vengeance in your heart. God doesn't want you riled up over people you have no control over. Don't let people have control over your mind. Forgiveness does not mean you have to put up with people, of course you're going to have to keep your distance because you know what they're about. God just wants you to let go of this grudge, this retaliation, so you can have peace. When you forgive, you're taking a big weight off your shoulders. Forgive and move on with your life. God just wants you to have control over your mind and move on with your life because your anger and emotions can keep you from thinking clearly or making wise decisions.
Do your best to stay away from people who you know are intentionally sinning, you can help them but do not come into agreement or follow what they're doing. Do not deny Jesus, don't be ashamed. You might not have all the knowledge but at this point you have to be willing to stand up for him, don't back down. Continue to humble yourself to learn more about God and keep striving to do better, even through the trials and tribulations.
Baptism in water is very important, it is an outward declaration of the decision that we have made for Christ. It identifies us with Christ's death, burial and resurrection. But, person can go in the water a dry devil and come out a wet devil. If a person truly receives Jesus in his heart and drops dead before the baptismal service, without a doubt, heaven will be his eternal home. The thief on the cross can attest to that. The only unforgivable sin is never receiving Jesus as savior and Lord. When the bible speaks of blaspheming against the holy spirit, it is in reference to the prideful pharisees who were attributing the works of Jesus to the devil and trying to entrap the lord. It is widely believed and I take this stand also that Jesus knowing the condition of the hearts of those particular men, was referencing them and not all men. These verses of scripture must be kept in proper context. Do not isolate the scriptures, but read the scriptures before and after, know the setting of the verses and know who the author is talking to. Before a man comes to Christ, he is capable of doing anything. To suggest that a person can commit a sin that God is not willing to forgive him for undermines the entire gospel message. Jesus came to save a lost and dying world. God has so much love and compassion for you but he can't accept you until you accept him. So when God judges you, he is not choosing whether you go to heaven or hell because you already made it to heaven based on your conscience decision to follow him. God will judge you based on your works you did on this earth to determine what rewards you will get in heaven. God knows you can do this, your emotions will have you thinking that it's harder than what it really is. He will forgive anyone for anything but they have to truly regret it and want to be forgiven. I know it might feel like God is overreacting but if you just take a look back at all the evil things you did in your life you'll realize how wonderful God is to make a way for you.

I swear when I was in my 20s, this was how so many women I knew behaved including myself. I was in my early 30s when I met my husband who was patient but called me on my shit. That straightened me out immediately. You can be disrespectful and people will still be nice, but they won't stick around.

Almost missed out on the love of my life thinking 5 years younger than me wasn't worth a shot. We hung out once and have been together since - that was well over 5 years ago.
There were times I didn't think twice about wearing something that was a bit hoeish and he would mention it. I stepped back and realized that he deserves respect. It def helps that we both have a low key lifestyle so no social media, don't really go out, we have 2 kids, and actually have a good time just hanging out. What’s more, absolutes like these abridged to become film quotes remove all context, therefore becoming quite reductive at face value, not that I’d likely feel any more confident in this assertion if it were accompanied by additional explanation, though. The world is grey and there is rarely all or nothing in reality.
I don’t personally believe that any man can write a female character as well as a woman can in the same way I don’t believe any woman can write a male character in quite the same way as a man can. They’re just such vastly different experiences that it’s nearly impossible to ever fully understand the other side.
Unsurprisingly, Hollywood is one of the most sexist institutions on Earth so of course they’d promote this viewpoint of a woman being sympathetic to their own reduction/caricaturization.
I notice that many of the women (but not all since the first one was just a joke lol) in these types of videos are usually a certain personality type so honestly it’s sometimes as simple as just not seeking out women with these personality types if that’s not what you’re into.

Over the years, John Updike noted in a recent interview in The New York Times, readers have occasionally objected to his portrayals of women, criticizing them as being merely ''wives, sex objects and purely domestic creatures.'' In response, he said he'd been ''constantly trying to improve'' his depiction of women. ''The Witches of Eastwick,'' his 1984 novel about three sorceresses, he said, ''was a very determined attempt to write about women who did have careers of a sort''; the novel was ''one attempt to make things right with my, what shall we call them, feminist detractors.'' His new novel, ''S.,'' he added, represents another effort in that direction. A comic variation on Hawthorne's ''Scarlet Letter,'' ''S.,'' published by Alfred A. Knopf, not only updates the story of that famous adulteress Hester Prynne; but it also attempts, says its author, to tell the story from Hester's point of view.
Leaving aside the dubious question of whether authors should try to respond to their readers' complaints, one starts by applauding Mr. Updike's ambition - his determination, evinced throughout a long and often brilliant career, to try continually to push his imagination into new territory. In the past, he's used his powerful gifts of observation and sympathy to create characters as disparate as Rabbit Angstrom, Henry Bech, Richard Maple and Colonel Ellellou, to conjure up an African kingdom and to probe the numerical world of computers. Why shouldn't he succeed in producing a persuasive novel about a woman? After all, many of the most enduring heroines in literature have sprung, like Venus, from the brows of men - think of Tolstoy's Anna Karenina, Flaubert's Emma Bovary, James's Isabel Archer.
Unfortunately, there's a huge gap between what Mr. Updike says he intended to do in ''The Witches of Eastwick'' and ''S.,'' and what he's actually created. In fact these two novels often read more like attacks on women (particularly ''liberated'' women) than earnest portrayals. To this reader at least, the earlier novels and stories never seemed willfully or narrowly sexist. Yes, characters like Janice Angstrom were often described in ugly and condescending terms (''Since her hair has begun to thin back from her shiny forehead, he keeps getting the feeling of her being brittle, and immovable, of her only going one way, toward deeper wrinkles and skimpier hair''), but these descriptions were meant to reflect a male character's (in this case, Rabbit's) point of view, with all the limitations attendant upon an individual of his age, sex, class and peculiar history. One can no more assail Mr. Updike for casting women in subsidiary roles (as wives, mistresses, etc.) in these novels than take issue with, say, Erica Jong (in ''Fear of Flying'') or Sue Miller (in ''The Good Mother'') for making men play supporting parts as husbands and lovers.
With ''Witches,'' Mr. Updike did, in fact, give his female characters center stage, and he made them, in his words, ''much more dynamic than the men.'' He did it, however, by playing upon the very misogynist fears that fueled the original Salem witch trials, and by depicting his heroines in the most patronizing of terms. His witches' ''careers'' are the sort of artsy-craftsy hobbies favored by well-heeled dilettantes: one of them makes hideous little clay figurines called ''bubbies,'' the second plays the cello, the third writes a gossip column for the local paper. Each has developed her witchly powers in the wake of losing a husband (single or divorced women, one will recall, were most susceptible to witchcraft accusations in Salem) and each uses these powers for selfish ends - even going so far as to murder another woman, who's stolen the one man they all covet.
This man, a devilish fellow by the name of Darryl Van Horne (who's given to saying things like ''think what a female body can do - make a baby and then make milk to feed it'') routinely humiliates the three witches, and in doing so points up both their poor taste in men and their fickle adherence to feminist ideals. In other respects, the witches come across as caricatures out of a Strindbergian nightmare: they're promiscuous, jealous, conniving and irresponsible, neglecting their children and their homes in order to pursue their own pleasures. They end by casting spells to conjure up new men - men who will marry them and presumably restore them to a safe, non-witchlike existence.
Clearly Sarah Worth, the heroine of the epistolary novel ''S.,'' seems more like a relative of these witches than a descendant of the lovely Hester Prynne. Like the witches, Sarah has recently become an emancipated woman. She's left her husband and daughter, joined an ashram (where she engages in group and lesbian sex), and in her letters home, employs the worst self-justifying (and now dated) rhetoric of the women's movement.
As written by Mr. Updike, these letters not only seem oddly contrived -he has Sarah refer to her gender so frequently that she starts to sound like a broken record of Helen Reddy singing ''I Am Woman'' - but they also reveal a decidedly unlikable person. Sarah is, by turns, castrating (she refers to her husband's ''microscopic ridiculous sperm''), bitter (''Did I not labor for you twenty-two years without wages, serving as concubine, party doll, housekeeper, cook, bedwarmer, masseuse, sympathetic adviser, and walking advertisement'') and manipulative (''I feel you, out there, as a dark packet of wounded maleness spitefully taking any tack to 'get at' me, even if it means ruining your daughter's fragile young life''). Apparently she is also stupid or willfully naive: though it's clear from her own descriptions that the ashram she's joined is thoroughly bogus, she persists in defending its mission, helping to bilk others out of their money and their faith.
The flight from domesticity, of course, has long been a favorite theme of Updike's, but it's interesting to contrast the treatment he accorded it nearly three decades ago in ''Rabbit Run,'' and what he does with it here. Whereas ''Rabbit'' gave us a carefully shaded portrait of a difficult and incomplete man, torn between his yearning for freedom and his need for roots, ''S.'' simply gives us a satiric picture of a careless woman, eager to shuck her family responsibilities for a fling with self-fulfillment.
The tone of the novel is comic, but oddly sour and brittle, as though Mr. Updike wanted to keep as detached as possible from his heroine. I met and married a perfect woman for me at 23. She was pure, a loving wife and super supportive of whatever I wanted to pursue. She supported me through the process of getting my MBA. I ended up getting a 4.0 in that degree and I have never had a 4.0 previously in either high school or my undergraduate. She never saw me finish my MBA as unfortunately, she passed in 2020 but I wouldn't change a thing. She made me a better man. She was loyal, supportive, and exactly what I wanted and needed. There are valuable women out there, don't chase the used-up ones. Focus on yourself and your career and you will get the woman that deserves you.
