      Nah I use them everyday professionally with thin and thick paints. If they're leaking it's probably because you warped the needle tip or the nozzle, you need to replace it and be gentle with the needle, dont use it to clean the gun. Don't scrape using the needle, don't use a blade to clean it, don't neglect it and let the paint dry on it. If your paint is too thick, use a bigger size needle and nozzle.

    Seriously, how do you get the lid on and off the cup in a timely manner? Took me and another man 20 minutes getting the lid screwed on the cup, and another thing when installing and filling a new flexliner into the cup and pressing the lid down in it-invariably causes the lip of the liner to collapse in the cup, so we have to fiddle with it (causing us to lose time) When unscrewing the lid we have to insert the edge of a painter's 5 in 1 and pry the black ring off to get into the cup---- D*mit, we need to get to work! Why has Graco designed something so hard to use?

    • @mushroom11g55
      @mushroom11g55 Před 2 lety

      You have to get good man you don't have skills. You have to keep the thread clean. I use these everyday professionally, if it's tight it's because the thread is dirty. You must be using the wrong liners, use 3M liners

      @@mushroom11g55 Actually, I found I was having all these problems when using oil based - I switched over to water based poly 2Ks about a year ago and no longer have any of these issues-I did shoot a gallon of oil based cover stain back in May and before I finished the gallon the lid had swollen just enough that it would no longer fit in the cup-went and got a spare lid and it dropped right in

    • @mushroom11g55
      @mushroom11g55 Před rokem

      @@scottsaustin I recommend the 3M cups, they don't swell, just keep them clean and don't make a habit of soaking them in thinner overnight. They probably last me 4 months daily use until I neglect it or make a mistake like pouring in paint without the liner

    • @mushroom11g55
      @mushroom11g55 Před 2 lety

      Make sure the liner and filter is seated perfectly. Maybe you're using cheap liners that are too thin, maybe put duct tape around the inside top of your outer cup to make it tighter

    Way over price almost $1000 for this is ridiculous. Hose way to big! For small projects sprayer. Use 2 small air compressor. Hook them together so they share same air lines supplies. It will give you continue consistant air without losing pressure. The great part about it is, the small air supplies line give you way better hand movements. Cost you 1/4th the price. Plus you can use your air compressor on other tools.
