Who the hell do Michael Alig and Ernie Glam think they are? spearheaded a countercultural youth movement based on the concept of the Warholian "anti-Celebrity" and became King of the Club Kids before inspiring the film Party Monster, starring Macaulay Culkin. He is currently painting masterpieces of artwork; working on his autobiography, Aligula; designing a club kid-inspired clothing line called Skroddleface; directing a NYC art collective called Countdown and recording a new dance single. One of the original club kids, Ernie Glam is a journalist and irreverent talk show host by day, Underground clothing designer and stylist-to-the-stars by night; catch him - -if you can get past the red velvet ropes -- at the city's hottest nightclubs and parties.

Yeah... to whoever tried to make excuses for this guy a few videos back, make a valid excuse for that statement alone and how it's perfectly acceptable for Michael to be surrounding himself with these types. As far as I'm concerned, Michael needs to sever all ties with James "St. James" Clark, Astro Erle, Rebecca, and Jay as soon as fucking possible. I don't care about the tenure of friendship, I don't care about them writing and visiting Michael in Peru. What I do care about is Michael's future going forward, and surrounding himself with the likes of these addicts will only lead to negativity to seep its way back into Michael's second chance at life.
Some people are meant to be in our lives for the duration, some for a season... I think Hurricane Astro and Blizzard Rebecca need to drift onward and outward from Michael's life.
I'm not saying Michael should turn his back on all his old friends.. as I said, I love Ernie and David and would love to see more from Jenny Talia and Walt Paper for a change... not these people who are as far removed from "fabulous" as one can get; James St. James included.

Yes they might be messes from time to time but they have just as much to offer as anyone else does. Never write off old friends. Michael will be what Michael will be. What kind of party is that? Nobody dances..... My rule is: always have a dancing stage, a smoke machine and some lasers to get the party started. A nitrous oxide bar is a nice bonus.

I love Michael, Ernie and Igor! I normally don't watch the Astro episodes but I thought I'd give it a try again and see if I was repulsed and annoyed less by Astro this time. Nope. I'd like to see Michael get away from the people like that (and James St blah blah). I can't help but be annoyed at people like that. When he was in Peru they said bad things in interviews just to get attention. That, where I come from at least, is stabbing someone in the back. Then when he got out their faces were up front in the cameras. And here they are again. I just hope that the next time they toss Michael under the bus he doesn't get hurt- because they will.
