The engine has a nasty laquer stuff on it that's all coming off. Gonna cost a bomb to sort that and frame is all flaking. But I'm getting there. Keep up the Great work. Hey Marty , yes I will enjoy making Ruby the belle of the ball . Christine has been for sale since day one really just need the right person with the right cash another custodian who will keep her alive . I have turned down good offers from the wrong people , it's like re homing a family pet ..but then i never buy n sell for profit , I like to make vehicles a good as possible then give them to someone who appreciates them. I prefer stock too. There certainly are not many unmodified bandits about. There used to be a business in Lincoln that sold everything under the sun to modify Bandits, I think it was called Banditmania. I guess you won’t be visiting there if they are still in business. Probably about time the Escort went, not many scaffolders driving around in a hairdresser’s car hahahahahahah!
Hey Tony , yes indeed banditmania is still there, and no i don't think they stock anything for me . The escort is still here nothing firm yet on the sale but it'll go one day , they all do.. I try to think i'm the chauffeur in the escort for Lady Springy as aposed to Springy the scaff in his white stilettos ! But then again !! 😕. A word to the wise, one bike and one motor is quite enough for anyone, that's coming from someone who used to own three bikes and three motors all on the road and being used. I got rid of all my motors didn't own one in my name for 8 years, it was an endless routine of maintaining and repairing, life's too short for that, what's the point if you can't enjoy what you have have, work all week, and spend the weekends messing with bikes and motors becomes a pain in the arse, down to two bikes, (only one on the road) and a 20 year old P38 Range Rover. It's now a passion to work on these not a necessity, The dent gives a bit of character, time to tame the OCD, clean it up and ride the damn thing.
yeah completely get that . untill yesterday i had 3 bikes and 4 cars . I now have 1 bike and four cars ..and hope soon to have 3 cars.thats my van , wifes car , daughters car 👍🏻thats plenty for any one 👍🏻☮❤
I replaced a triumph sprint st 1050 with the bandit .. there are videos of the triumph before it blew up! 👍🏻☮❤ The triumph was much quicker and handled better and had 30bhp more ... but all the bits were really poor quality ..everything was very plastic and badly made.. but then I had a bmw r1150rt before the triumph so I went from over the top build quality to underwhelming build quality ..

Hi mate which Triump did you replace this bike with? How would you compare the ride & build quality, handling and throttle response?
