    I feel sad about not being born in Nigeria and never having been there. My parents never really prioritized taking me so I feel left out a lot around friends. And my Yoruba also sounds weird. Any Advice?

      Yoruba lessons, or, try and listen when ur friends are speaking and ask questions? They will tell u what certain words mean and u will behind to remember the words when u hear them over and over again. But you need to be proactive- I hope this helps x

    • @DiamanteBox
      @DiamanteBox  Před 2 lety

      I guess it’s a play on words. Ti won bota also means push them out. So he must be saying push them out like Konga’s song. Love when it all comes together.

    • @damiloladolor8067
      @damiloladolor8067 Před 2 lety +4

      In pidgin, dey is used like any of be/is/are/am usually to talk about position or location.
      e.g
      I dey house - i am at home.
      no is usually used to negate
      I no dey house - I am not at home
