This song is on fire and the reactors are coming out of the wood work, this is one of 5 new unheard songs on her new 5th CD due out Dec 8. Lucy makes every song better than original.
A couple of reactors had mentioned the original was kinda bland and flat.
Of course they do what they're required when making covers of songs as does every other artist does. Why did you even bring that up?
Lucy has the management team and agent, and professional producer, so of course all legal requests will be met and permission’s sort. Plus CZcams or S&G would take it down otherwise. The song and lyrics are the same, the music and tempo has been altered and rearranged, but it’s still the same song. I’d imagine some royalties will go to Simon (S&G) and I expect they’ll be please their song lives on and earns for them. But also many younger listeners don’t know S&G and others forgotten them, so again good this version inspires new interest in S&G then they too get more hits and awareness. Probably Simon and Garfunkel are very happy with it, as Lucy is the fabulous singer. You should check out her other songs covers and originals - she is very good! 🙂
Lucy knocks this out of the Park The Best version yet. Of course all procedures have been met Lucy is a professional and is contracted to a record company .
Your comment is so ridiculous. I have appreciation for the original but Lucy is clearly better. Why did you even say that? Lucy’s version of Mariah Carey’s hero and Whitney Houston’s run to you are the better versions. That’s saying something
