They dropped a new song two days ago, i cant believe after 21!years since i bought/burned this cd when i was 18 and im shocked theyre still alive, well at least the guitarist and drummer. Bc theyre touring some tiny events and thats all it is, him on guitar and vocals and a drummer, and he sounds just like he did in 2003. I didn't dig the music lyrically anymore bc im not 18 and angry, but the sound is solid.

Should point out that the singer who played The Jon left the band mostly due to how unprofessional he was (constantly late to rehearsals, kikd of half-hearted in the comedy routine, playinb out of tune during live shows).

Others have probably pointed this out, but just in case, the person who plays Rabbit (the lead in this song), Isabella "Bunny" Bennett, actually has transitioned into a woman since this video's release. You should definitely check out the music video "Transform" to see how much she has changed

The other part of the backstory is that CdP mostly do songs from Tolkien. Their biggest hits were the dwarf songs like Song of Durin, and One year they proposed to release “the greatest dwarf song of all time”… of course it was an April Fools prank, and the song was “Heigh-Ho” from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. They only did a snippet but public demand was so huge that they went back in the studio and re-cut the entire song. The comments were all on the lines of “I don’t care if it’s an April Fools joke, it’s a damn good song… now for next April 1 you gotta do “Diggy Diggy Hole”!” So they did.

10:05 from what I interpret from the video: the girl was found dead and brought back to the village, and they were preparing her body for burial, then their “Almighty” (God or Deity, Tengri in Turkic belief of Siberia, Mongolia as well) brought her back to life. In the translation of the lyrics as the rider is bringing the girl to the village and they beging preparing the body, you read that she’s singing to her God,”we come to you in our joyous times and times of sorrow” (or something similar), when her eyes open and the throat singing begins I think it’s Tengri greeting the resurrected girl “Hello my friend, you are back with us again”, then it turns into a celebration of the girl being brought back to life. At that time we see added to the lyrics “no one loves us as you my Almighty” praising Tengri for bringing the girl back. That’s my interpretation
