I was 15 when the Raptors came in to the NBA. It’s never been easy for Raptors fans even in Canada. Basketball was already popular, but everyone was a fan of the Bulls or Lakers and you would get teased for following the expansion Raptors. It’s a tough league. If you’re not stacked with All Stars, you don’t get any respect or attention. I’m a hockey fan first and foremost, but it’s great to see the Raptors finally rise above the competition. The Leafs have a fire under their ass now. They need to get something done now. They need a serious run to the Cup.
