As a homeschooled kid whose parents are involved with church a fair bit, I feel this to some degree.
I have no idea how I can be both of these at the same time. I’ve been a PK for 12-13 years and I've been called into ministry. But at the same time my parents are super chill. Also WHY DO PKS ALWAYS GET STUCK STACKING CHAIRS!? JUSTICE FOR PKS!!!

This is so true! It seems like the only "clean" content is Christian teaching. Even kids shows now are flooded with inappropriate content.

Okay so honestly, do you like it? Or does it feel like you don’t have a normal life? I’m so not trying to be rude or disrespectful, I have just always kind of wondered how missionary kids feel about being overseas, moving, etc.
@@maddykim9348 well, I was born (here) in England, so I didn’t have a lot of stress about moving. But I sound, act, and am American. My family tries to take trips to America every few years, but we’ve never had a true furlough before. The cultures in America and England are very different. The hardships of missionary work for me and my family is mostly not being around our family in America, we have been here so long that both America and England are familiar, each have there benefits and curses, but I prefer America. I get to look at both America and England and enjoy and critique them. In the end home is really wherever my family is, my citizenship is in America so I will probably move there for university. People in England view America differently than it is and vice versa, both America and England have a higher view of their countries than they should, and a lower view of others, they also have their own individual problems. As someone who is a close observer on both nations I believe I have an accurate picture of it. I hope that answers your questions.
Edit: my life feels normal to me, but when others hear about it they think otherwise. My extended family, on the other hand, used to work for Disney, so they believe us to be normal. Lol.
