if I choose to add more ADA to my wallet that I'm delegating my current ADA on - can I add it without having to pay another deposit? The deposit is for the wallet in general right? Because I just put ~520 ADA in but I plan on putting in around ~120 more tomorrow, but don't want to pay anything other than the transaction fee maybe?
@@ThatDudeDeven I believe once you stake any amount of ADA, your entire wallet is staked. So you can add and remove ADA and it will be fine.
Extra or reduced rewards take place after Epoch or two (approximately 5 days an epoch).
Finally the guy who will explain better than most
Hes fantastic and actually replys to his followers..much respect for this gentlemen
Thank you Paul you are the man for giving out this information.
Thanks for the concise summary! I've already delegated to another pool, but I'm very much considering switching to yours because of this very helpful content. Your tutorials are a great help even when the concepts are already somewhat clear, they become more crystalized in the mind after a detailed "step by step" walk through.
Thanks Paul I appreciate the feedback and your very welcome in the pool if you choose to join, as we are nearly at 7M now we should be getting on a good run
Hey Paul, awesome content as usual. I've been into Cardano since 2018, but was still able to learn a little. I have been watching every one of your videos. Thanks!
Thanks Josh I appreciate that
This video made a lot of sense and its also very clear and up to the point. Got my doubts clarified! Thanks!
Thanks Paul! Well done
Hey! I wanted to thank you for your amazing content regarding Ada. I’ve entered this week due to the dip and I’ve learned a lot with your videos and I want to support your content by staking in your pool. I intend to hodl for several years, so I hope that this will end up well.
Great video! Thanks Mate
Thanks for another upload Paul! Keep them coming!
Thanks Nikki
Thanks for putting this blog together. It was not easy trying to find info on all these questions on the web!
Thanks Jean, if you hear of anyone else struggling feel free to share
THANK YOU, that was all of my questions!
your videos are gold my guy
Great and helpful content, well organized
Spot on mate, just what I was waiting for
Hope it helps
Awesome! Just added to your pool PAUL1. Thanks for sharing, great job!!!
Great video Paul, great job, I have been in the Cardano Community for a while, but I still learned something new I didn't know before, I checked your website as well, keep up the good work
Thanks Howard great to hear it was helpful
Thanks for the great video. Just took some notes over it and I really appreciate your effort on doing this. Shout out from Brazil.
Thanks Bora
your videos are awesome - thanks man!
Great timing for this video. I was researching DOT staking and found they do slashing and you have a limited number of days to claim your reward...started wondering if Cardano did or would do the same as I've been staked for about a month and a half and Paul has the answer. Great video, very informative.
Great it was helpful! If you know anyone else with questions feel free to share
Soo thorough man !
Will definitely support you man! Keep it up
Thanks Juan I appreciate that
Thank you Paul. Great video
Great video! It helped me get started with Cardano!
My main question was about the 340 fee, but the safety stuff at the end was helpful as well.
It's really well explained. best youtube channel on cardano🌟👍🏾
Thanks Axel
Great Video P! thanks very very very helpful my G

Hey Paul, new delegator here, thanks for your vids! Really helped me get up to speed with daedalus.
Great to hear they helped. Thanks for joining
Amazing explanations! New sub 😎
Hi Paul, just joined from Sweden to your pool with a 500ADA stake. Thanks for informative videos on the topic.
Thank you so much for the interesting video!
Thanks Zosime
Nice one Paul
Thanks Jason
My ledger is ordered. I will be staking with you Paul (as long as the avg 5% APY holds haha). Thank you for the great information these past few months. You should considering posting your guide on r/cardano :)
Thanks I appreciate that
Helpful thanks
Switched to your pool today, appreciate the constant updates 🙏
Thanks Jack I appreciate the support
Which pool is this? Trying to figure out best staking pool, just got set up in Atomic Wallet. Thanks for any advice here 🙏🏼
@@CoryRR ticker “PAUL”
So useful. thanks dude
Great to hear it!
thank you a lot, you really help me
Hey Paul can you make a video on how joining a pool works? Like building blocks in a epoch...ROA..etc...I see some pools producing more blocks than others... also how much rewards you get based on how much ADA total you have staked in the pool...etc... thank you Paul and God Bless
Thank You!
Hope its helps
great video, thanks!
Thanks Pierre
Great video - thank you, I’ve subbed as I’m very excited by cardano and I need to learn (:
Thanks for this. I've been trading crypto for a while but never staked it before. Really informative video.
Just joined your pool man! Thanks!
Thanks Carter
Good Content, Keep it up.
Thanks Dave
New subscriber here! Awesome content 👌🏻
Thanks Torrey
Thanks for this video, Yori was recommended to me in the comment of another video. Didn’t know if it was a scam or not
Yoroi is a good wallet. You can get the official links here - yoroi-wallet.com/#/
Really good video! 🧙🏻♂️⚡️ it answered many things i was thinking about. Look forward to checking out your cards I content regularly.

Great Video Paul.
Staked with Paul! Hoping for the best! Not entirely sure what I'm doing but I'm trying lol.
haha thanks for joining
Are the rewards also taken into account on the exodus wallet for staking?
good job with the cannel, web page and stake pool. have just staked with you. keep that r.o.a. high :)
Thanks Robert I appreciate that. We should be in for a good run of form on the pool going forward now
Wonderful information Paul! Thankss! Should I stake them in the "Paul" pool? Or do you prefer another one?
Thanks Jon. There are 2 pools under the ticker PAUL and both are mine so you can go with whichever you prefer
Hi Paul, I stake all of my ada to your pool to support you, also we can stake Ada with passphrase account from ledger and Trezor to Dadalaus wallet.
Thanks Max, yes that is a nice feature and one I only started to use in the last 2 months as the passphrase basically gives you 2 accounts
This was really useful but I feel like, for me - as a beginner - I could do with an even more simple guide. I currently have my ADA earning interest in Binance but would be interested in staking elsewhere, but I don't know enough about the process/costs etc.
Thanks. This video might help - czcams.com/video/3ypcYjjJNns/video.html
@@CardanoWithPaul Thank you! I found it and watched it right after.
Paul if I was to stake my ADA in your pool using Trezor and Yoroi do I need to unstake all of it if I wanted to move say 5% to an exchange to sell it at some point? Can you make a quick tutorial video on how to take some ADA out for when it comes time to sell some? Thank you Paul for your time and everything you do for the Cardano community.
Thanks for considering my pool. No you wont need to unstake the whole wallet to move funds, you can move or add funds to the wallet at any time and there are no restrictions or locks on it. If at any time you decide you want to sell 5%, 10% or 100% you can go to the send tab and send however much you want to an exchange. Any other questions just let me know
Started staking with your pool. I saw Paul and Paul1. I don't know the difference so I chose Paul.
Thanks for joining. Both are my pools and both fine to choose thank you
thankyou! this channel has helped me no end
Staked with your Paul1 at Yoroi just now.
Thanks for joining
Great video. Keep it up mate. Quick question, Is there a time delay when you withdraw your ADA from a pool if you wish to stop staking? Thanks.
No lock up with Cardano so you can move at any time with no delay
Hi Paul just wanted to know if I stake my ADA in your pool is my intrest also going to be 5% per year. Keep up this amazing content of yours this is only the beginning of your channel📈
It varies from epoch to epoch (every 5 Days) but on average all pools should give about 5% - 5.5%. over the year. Thanks for choosing my pool
If you included time stamps in your videos would be great ! Especially when you cover many topics.
Thanks JDO, I have timestamps on all of my other videos in the descriptions but didn't get to add any to this video as I talk through so many questions. I will add high level timestamps for the different types of FAQs

What exactly are the "rewards" you get from staking? Is it additional ADA shares? Can rewards be converted to cash or fiat for passive monthly income?
Yes it is additional ADA. To cash them out you would need to send them to an exchange and cash out from there
Thanks for sharing! Great video 👍
How long should someone leave Cardano coins in a stake pool? Maybe a silly question?
You can leave them as long as you want. I run a stake pool and plan to be here for the next 10+ years
Someone know how the circulating supply of different coins can affect their prize? Thankss
I cover that exact topic towards the end of this video - czcams.com/video/dFrX-0zxAeo/video.html
Other than Dealarus where can I store my cardano? My ether wallet? Coinbase wallet?
New sub! 😊😊
Welcome and thanks for the sub. Feel free to share with anyone else you think would be interested
Hey Paul. Any chance if you haven't already done so, do a video on how to incorporate Trezor into Yoroi and Exodus in order to have that extra level of security?
Unfortunately I only own a Trezor one which doesn't support ADA so I use my Ledger for ADA. I might buy a trezor model T to do the staking as a few people would like it
@@CardanoWithPaul thanks Paul. Keep up the great work.
Hi Paul! On Deadalus, is it possible to had a ledger, to an already existing wallet? Or I have to create a new wallet, and transfer funds to the new ledger wallet? Thanks
You will have to pair your ledger with your daedalus and send the funds to that wallet as the ledger contains its own private keys. This video goes through using ledger and daedalus czcams.com/video/vMm24YslkpI/video.html
what were to happen to a pool operator if they lost power for a period of time? I'm interested in creating a pool in the near future. thanks so much for all the info in your videos.
If the pool operator loses power or their pool goes down then they could potentially miss blocks that have been assigned to them
Hey man, love your channel. Im buying Cardano like crazy, got about 5k so far, hoping to build it to 10k. I used your PAUL 2 stake pool to support you.
I'm curious why PAUL 2 has more fees then the other one, but the yield is higher? Can you explain that?
Anyway, thanks for showing me how to do this, can't wait to earn more ada! Love this project
Thanks for joining. The fees are the same on both pools, when you look at the stats you might have seen the stat for costs which is just a stat of the fees vs rewards its not something any delegator pays
@@CardanoWithPaul ahh, okay got it. I'm new to this. Thanks for explaining. Cheers!
never been on your site, but would be nice to have an epoch timer countdown for those who don't stake with yoroi
I'll see what I can do
Hey Paul, i have a quick question. Do you think if I have a small amount of cardano that I should just continue my DCA plan on ADA or expand to ETH and BTC, was thinking of buying some BTC but im just not sure if that is a great idea if Cardano stakes are making me money in the long term, as I have it now. Not planning on selling anything for many years as well, shortest 5, longest possibly 10-20 years. Thanks you sir, also am probably going to stake with you when I get my ledger set up, you're awesome!
Hi Paul, thanks for great content! I recently staked with Yoroi for the first time and it limited my staking amount to 7 point something something ADA. Why?
Did you stake 10 ADA? When you stake first you pay a 2 ADA deposit which you get back when you unstake and the transaction fee would be about 0.17 ADA
Hey Paul. This is really helpful. Thanks. I have a question though. What is the difference between S(ingle)PO and M(ultiple)PO. I staked my ADA to receive Sundae token in an SPO. But I can see there are different MPOs as well. Which one is better?
is liquidity pool and stake pool the same thing? e.g. staking on cardano i can experience divergence loss?
When I first staked I only managed to stake two Cardao. I would like to stake the rest. How do I stake the rest or how long do I have to wait to do so?
What would likely be the price of ADA in next bare market? Thanks for the video.
Hard to call as it depends what stage the project is at when we enter a bare market and how high it reaches in this bull cycle
I don’t have to stake right? What if I just want to hold my Cardano on Exodus? I noticed Daedalus doesn’t support an app.
I will need to use a wallet with an app because I don’t really have a computer.
Yes you can just hold if you want to. If you want to use an App then the Yoroi app is the official one
What is the best and safest site to stake at?
This video gives all the options - czcams.com/video/3ypcYjjJNns/video.html I personally use a ledger and Yoroi / Daedalus
Hi Paul, currently I have my ADA on my Exodus wallet and it asks me to state my coins so my question is should i do it on Exodus?
I prefer the official wallets Yoroi and Daedalus but Exodus is a good wallet too. I go through the different wallets and staking here czcams.com/video/3ypcYjjJNns/video.html
Hello & thanks for all the useful content. I wonder if you or any other people in the know can give me their thoughts on this. I staked circa 18,000 ADA in a pool on August 24th this year & to date have received 82 ADA in rewards. I’m fairly new to Crypto so could be a bit off here, but are these returns not a bit low?
Hi Paul. Thanks for your great video. I'd like to know how to run my own validation node. Can you help me out with that? Thank you!
Its not something I have covered in any of my videos so far. One of the best places to start is the telegram group which is full of SPOs and is a great resource for getting answers on the inner works of the multiple servers you need for a node t.me/CardanoStakePoolWorkgroup
@@CardanoWithPaul thank you so much Paul. Blessings !
Thanks Paul. So I am staked with you as of 1/17/21. I am just using Yoroi. So it has been about 14 days. Is it possible to see the rewards on the dashboard without claiming them? I know you said there is a fee to claim but what if I just want to see what they are. So, maybe a quick video "Cardano for dummies" as far as what to do on the dashboard to claim etc. There is a graph on the bottom but nothing yet. Also, what does "high" and "low" mean? I did not have any trouble setting up or transferring in and staking with you.
Hey Mark, your first payout should be on the 4th of feb. If you look at the dashboard in Yoroi it will show any rewards you have. This part of the wallet video shows the rewards and balances. You can see this account has 3.27 ADA not claimed so I have the withdraw button. I only withdraw if I want to move the funds to another wallet though. - czcams.com/video/3ypcYjjJNns/video.html
Any questions on it just let me know
if i add more ada to my yoroi wallet, stored through my ledger, will it automatically be added to my delegation?
Yes it will be auto delegated
Star staking with PAUL pool
👍👍👍
Thanks Rafael
Congrats on the subscribers and staking pool pick up, I recently staked. My question is pool saturation, will you be setting up additional pools due to the pool size reducing to less than 32M ADA in March ?
Thanks Doug, yes I will be looking at a 2nd pool this week to make sure the current one stays under saturation
Paul
I am having trouble syncing to the Cardano node with Daedalus - any advice I have been trying for a week or so - node responding and node time correct
hi Paul, awesome content! clear and precise! Good job!!!
I have some questions ;) :
* what happen if you start delegating and there is the change of era (Shelley to Goguen)?? Some delays in getting the rewards should be expected?
* if that happens, do we will have to create a new wallet in Goguen era? that means that we will have to start the pool selection and so on again?
* the 340 ADA fee and the %margin of the pool are shared with all the delegators? If yes, that means that is "cheaper" to join a big pool?
Many thanks! i'm subscribed and the bell is activated!
Thanks Peter
*As far as I know the wallets wont be changing again as Gougen will be an addon rather than a new chain
* Yes the fixed and margin are taken out of total pool rewards so with bigger pools that generate more blocks it will be slightly cheaper, if you go with a bigger pool just make sure they stay under saturation level as when they go saturated that eats into rewards too
@@CardanoWithPaul thanks! and what about the pledge? what is this parameter? does it affect to the rewards? it is better a high pledge or a low pledge? many many thanks!!
Hey Paul how do I know the staking delegation was successful, will it take a few epochs to show? Right now it says “Staking pools you are delegated to” in the stale pools tab of Daedalus but when I go to delegation center tab- it gives me the option of re-delegating. I know it takes a few epochs before you start seeing rewards but I wanted to make sure its set up right before this next epoch starts in a few hours.
Hey Tyler, yes it will be 15-20 Days before your first payout. In the delegation center it shows you the pool you are delegated to and when you will be actively earning in that pool. If you don't it today your first earning epoch should be 250 and the first payout will be at the end of 251
