Anton Schüsler After listening to this, I believe it may be culled from three unfinished projects. This concerto begin and end in different keys at a time when progressive tonality in a symphony, sonata, or concerto was virtually unheard of. Compare this with the exactly contemporaneous Stabat Mater, which is consciously and deliberately anchored in G minor.

There are international renting companies that rent you a bassoon for a monthly fee. 23 years old is definitely not a problem! I have a collegue who started playing at about that age after finishing her course in flute. So you're no exception ;-) All you have to do, is find a teacher who's willing to teach you (preferably at a music academy) and find a rental instrument (I think most academies do have instruments they rent out for a yearly fee, not sure about Norway) If you really want to play the bassoon, there are always ways to start! if you need or want more info, you can always contact me privately ;-)
