I’m going to be playing this in a concerto competition with a friend in the coming months and this recording has been so valuable and guiding! Thank you!
It reminds me of the BBC documentaries I used to watch on TV, back when a kid.
Pure merveille . Ravissement . Les mots manquent aux émotions . Victor Hugo
It’s funny to think that the human emotions of sadness and joy are poles apart from each other when in reality they are surprisingly similar. The whole music of Jan Křtitel made me realize this.. :-)
Yes, I am myself a musician and all that musical culture can bring me good, I take it!.... ;-)
Good evening dear ..You react in the same way as me. I look a lot "Utube" and this site is a gold mine! ........ The music makes me stand, without it, I will collapse :-)
Very uplifting and dignified. The very antidote to the prevailing mood. Than you.
SUPERB!! GREAT PERFORMANCE !!

Pravda.
Hi! I’m playing this same concerto with another bassoonist. I urgently need the scores for the orchestra? Any help or advice? Thank you so much!
I don't know that Czech also have classical composers
I'm agreeably-surprised :D
Czech composers: Frantisek (Franz) Benda, Jiri Antonin Benda, Antonin Dvorak, Josef Suk, Bedrich Smetana, Jan Vaclav Stamic (Stamitz), Frantisek Xaver Richter, Josef Vejvanovsky, Vincenc Kramar-Krommer, Antonin Rejcha (Reicha) and many others. I invite you to Facebook group Czech Classical Music : facebook.com/groups/1469179706685108 Best wishes Val
Bohemia was in past centuries conservatories of Europe to Antonin Dvořák and Leoš Janáček !!! You never heard for example about Manheim school and orchestra from Jan Václav Stamic time? It was orchestra not only, but mainly from czech musicians...
For your info - czech musicians from old time - Jan Křtitel Neruda, Jan Křtitel Vaňhal, Jan Antonín Benda, Karel Stamic, Josef Mysliveček - Venatorini, Leopold Koželuh, Antotnín Roseti Růžička, Karel Stich - Punto, Jan Nepomuk Hummel, Jiří Antonín Benda, František Benda, Jan Václav Hugo Voříšek, Pavel Josef Vejvanovský and so on.... You can study :-)
Thank you very much,dear Lea ! (Y)
Lea Hnilickova Sorry, Jan (Johann) Nepomuk Hummel was never Czech composer. Johann Nepomuk Hummel was born in Bratislava now Slovakia. His parents were Austro-Ungarian. He is also not Slovak composer. Johann Nepomuk Hummel is Austrian composer. sk.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C3%A1n_Nepomuk_Hummel
Yes, it is partialy truth... He had his name after czech - St. Jan Nepomuk, and was from Prespurk, and it was all, as Wiena or Prague Osterreich-Ungarn, which, I am sorry - feel as one state, and Prespurk is now Slovak town Bratislava and we and Slovakia, was also one state, so that is, from what is my mistake :-)
Sehr schönes Konzert, das Andante ist mir allerdings melodisch etwas zu farblos, zu eintönig., die Allegri hingegen sind voll Leben., Thanks for loading.
