Johann Nepomuk Hummel is my favorite composer.. his melody are undescribable they take you up to cloudy sky and make you fly freely.. free from your stress and your boring daily life.. i wish i could meet this guy and tell him about my feeling towards him...
The very good bassoonist of Norway have been a seecret to me and many others.That is a shame,we have as I know 3 on the topp. Robert Rønnes on this record is after my tast a topp international player.

So many times when I hear this concerto it sounds like it's all about the technical difficulty. In this performance it sounds like it is about the music.

You'll like it, don't worry. I play the bassoon in orchestra and band and I'm 12. Its really easy once you get the hang of it and the fingerings.

I've been trying to play this piece. It's the tonguing that I have the most problem with. Not the slower tonguing but the fast tonguing. I can triple tongue on flute,but reed instruments give me problems.

Me gusta esta version mas que la de Mozart. Es mas "mozarteana", perdonando el juego de palabras. Tambien descubri la fantasia para viola y orquesta, una obra que debe estar en todo repertorio del violista. Lo siento , Wolfgang!

Wasn't Hummel a student of Mozart? He seems to have learnt very well from Mozart.
