I believe this torque wrench only measures or clicks in the clockwise direction. That is an important point to mention as I have wrecked some flares not knowing this (by having the wrench upside down).

I did the same thing when I first got my CPS torque wrench. I didn't RTFM. Setting the torque on the CPS isn't very user friendly either - you must have the manual in front of you to set the proper setting. Example - 18nm - the 18 and 18 must line up, not the 18 and 0. But for 55 its 55 and 0. Not very well thought out.

haha darn. the yellow jacket torque wrench is awesome (sturdy, simple, accurate) and not confusing in that respect. Too bad as I think they are slowly migrating to only digital torque wrenches, but that is just hearsay from refrigerative supply ltd.@@machaf

@@kenmcc85 Everytime I've gone to use my digital torque wrench (non HVAC) the battery is dead or about dead. Very very annoying. Never again will I buy a digital one.

that makes me very happy then that I bought a mechanical torque wrench! I'll just take good care of it by keeping the spring uncompressed when not used.@@machaf

Is one of those heads that are almost the same size metric? You do a pretty thorough job explaining the tools, I've been using your videos to try and decide which linesman pliers to go with. Do you have any digital gauges you could review?

The 16mm and 17mm are pretty much the same size but the 16mm is slightly smaller. I did just pick up a set of Sman 380 gauges from fieldpiece

Those Fieldpiece digital gauges are nice, you should do a review on it.
