The biggest change when it came to seeing progress was to take rest periods seriously. The majority of my workouts are spent resting, but when I do work it's full on all out.

YES!!! I rest 3-4 mins between big lifts... and when I’m done with a set I NEED that 3-4 mins to recover!!! It is a game changer.

I've definitely been getting better sleep since I got back into lifting. It's wonderful.

I have better quality sleep on my rest days to be honest. When i go lifting or for cardio after work, I usually eat my dinner/post workout meal pretty late, so this affects my sleep negatively in general.

Load should be at level that you feel like you need that long rest before next set!!! It is extremely hard to change mindset of those who are so used to going 100 mph in the gym.

"Don't cut the rest periods in half" and "if it says 2 or 3 min, you want to do it in a 1,5 min ok, but don't go shorter than 1 min"

I m doing antagonist supersets.. Full body workout. What about a 60 +seconds rest after one superset..?

Supersetting will always make your fatigue stay higher which means your performance will be sub optimal on bigger lifts
