As a former bicycle mechanic, I knew there would be a degree of assembly, but this is more than I anticipated. Assembly charges make a bit more sense now.
This video changed my life 😂 I love how the mechanic placed the bubble wrap underneath the mirrors so they don't scratch, freaking awesome dude. Love people who do quality work man...

Well all have had previous g assembly I never had to pay for assembly all bike are shipped in crate. There never was prr

I was about to go on a tirade about torque specs, but then I read the description. You should've been here to see the violent page turning through the FSM only to be deflated by that note that they were indeed gone over and checked. Good work and thanks for showing us the new KLR!

Nice motorcycle and great unboxing. Like it.... Unfortunately the KLR is not available in Europe due to missing emission standards....
Interesting watch. That seemed like. lot of torque on the right side mirror adapter. I also noticed there was no checking to see if the forks lined up correctly before tightening the pinch bolts. Also sticking bare hands in grease probably isn't the best idea.
Make sure you wear gloves when you wipe your ass.

I am surprised. How many new motorcycles come to the dealer this much unassembled ? Not all dealers have experienced qualified assemblers. Proper torquing and spacing ?

A Kawasaki 650 Dual Sport is on my wish list. But, priorities seem to get in the way. I wonder if the 650 Adventure has different sprockets than a standard 650 Dual Sport or if the difference is just a windshield and bags ?
Bags and a few other options are the only difference. Sprockets are the same across all three models. Good luck Kris!

Many folks think this along with delivery charge should be free and that the dealer just pockets the fees on the tag. Believe me, this guy isn't doing this for free.
Exactly. Delivery and prep is a hard cost to the dealership. Shipping from overseas, the crate, assembling the crate with bike it in, disassembly and disposal, and of course building the bike. You’re spot on Damian.
