BEAUTIFUL Bike, I had a softail. but switched to the Vulcan 900 less cc but 130lbs. less weight, counterbalanced (like this one) but rubber mount, fuel inj. belt drive - SMOOTH and water cooled so my nuts are not burned. I have heal -toe shifter, platforms, windshield, bags, - well ya cant own them all, but that is a GREAT looking H sft. - safe rides.

Waxing after any chrome cleaning will seal it.....if you do that occasionally, it will keep it nice for a long, long time.

I have an 03 Deuce it shook the bolts for the hub for the rear wheel belt sprocket, it shook the bolt for the gas tank off, it shakes the mirrors loose. And this video did not explain anything

I have open V&H Lingshots on my 97 Heritage and love 'em! They're not that loud unless you're really in a hurry, but you can definitely tell when I'm in your neighborhood! The heat shields were my main purchase point, because I hate blued pipes. Buy a pair and you're not likely to regret it! Seeya!

You're probably so accustomed to a smooth ride you might have overlooked the booster plug. I hear some riders really complain about the engine breaking and acceleration being twitchy.

Thanks, I’ve always just used the OOOO steel wool soaked in a little bit of oil, for chrome or regular steel. That could be 30 wt., WD-40, whatever. I’ll try it with just water though, see if it turns out as well as it does in your video.

so are the whistle noise normal on the 2009-2015 cbr1000rr repsol edition? Currently have a 2009 Cbr1000rr Repsol edition with a taylormade exhuast and it sounds like a whistle but I heard that there are also crankshaft issues but idk what that even sounds like.

The exhaust looks and sounds so nice, but my goodness, 1k USD for an upgrade on ~7k motorcycle that gives zero boost to riding experience (only aesthetics) is just BRUTAL

When the rust has gone, I only ever clean and polish with CRC Long Life Spray on a little pad so as to use as little as possible. It not only protects but actually helps remove any initial rust. That way my heavily chromed motorcycle has never needed de-rusting again and looks fantastic still after 10 years use. Without that spray it would be a rust bucket by now. It is not cheap, but with a small pad you can avoid using very much of it, and once it dries it is not so oily as other alternatives.

Short shots on my Wide Glide. Both black and chrome heat shields and a tuner. With quiet baffles installed. They sound nice and the road rumbles at 2200rpms

By far my fave color combo of Ninja 650,not fan of their green theme.

Every Idea that is on this site will work the constant item is 0000 steel wool. I have used everything with steel wool from Coca-Cola to chrome polish they all work! I restore Older Motorcycle's and have a constant supply of 0000 steel wool on hand as it works on Chrome, steel, Aluminium and can smooth out some paints as well. I can't live without it!

Crap bike! I bought the 2014 Repsol CBR1000RR SP. Paid a ton for it, first ride the belly panel came lose. Sold it back to the owner of the dealer I bought it from. He's a cunt, so he got sand in the engine. And it blew up 3 weeks after :-)

Thank you for confirming that I am not losing my mind after all !!! I have been test driving used softails, maybe 6 or 7 so far. Every one of them, while driving, the triple tree has been cocked just like in your video. And every time I ask the owner about it, they don't notice anything. I talked to a few mechanics at Harley-Davidson and nobody seems to know what I'm talking about.

one engine (mounted rigid in softails) has counterbalance shafts, the other ( "dyna") does not (rubber mounted engines) ... mystery solved. No more bullshit yada-yada needed.
