In this video I go over what mods I believe will make the Hobby Plus CR18P Trail Hunter the perfect low cost rig. I install oil filled shocks, weighted Mofo RC UPW Wheels and Injora All Terrain Tires. I do a before and after mods incline test and show all the results. I complete some cosmetic paint mods that made the vehicle come out amazing looking.
I also do a full course run on the indoor course for TRX4M and SCX24 crawlers.

Nice video. I bought some injora wheels for mine, unfortunately they have contact on the portal covers. Do you know any hex extensions, that fit on the t hunter?

What mini rc crawler do you recommend? Love the vid

There's a lot to choose from. For $120 the Trail Hunter is a great buy. Add wheels and shocks and it's fantastic. But if you want a crawler that has a lot of after market parts out already and you want to customize. The Axial SCX24's are a great way to go. SCX24 Bronco is top heavy to start, something like a deadbolt or gladiator, a bit of weight down low and they will be perfect.
