- "Discovering Freemasonry" is an 8-part series presented by Rubicon Masonic Society which is an invitation only private group of Master Mason Freemasons located in Lexington, KY. The purpose of Rubicon Masonic Society is to establish a deeper understanding and connection with Freemasonry, its traditions and practices, and further cementing the brotherhood of its members and guests through conviviality and unity outside of the lodge.
Brothers within Rubicon have worked diligently in order to provide attendees and viewers with a factual overview and introduction to the philosophy and principles of Freemasonry.
This is a not an educational program to detract from the initiatory experience nor to reveal passwords, grips, steps, or any part or parts of masonic ritual that is considered sacred or private.
Upon our studies and surveys in and outside of Rubicon, we have consistently learned that new and even veteran Masons were never provided an explanation of the fundamentals that can be delivered in a basic overview such as this…hence the birth of this series.

Those who desire more information to what is presented within this series may be directed to specific books, papers, and websites that will assist the pursuit of quality academic and Masonic knowledge.
Purpose:
The purpose of this educational series is to deliver a factual and foundational overview of the world's most ancient and honorable Fraternity, beginning with a man's initial contacts within the Fraternity, the man's progression through masonic degrees, and the life path of the man as a Freemason in his daily pursuit for self-improvement by applying the lessons and the tools of the craft in his life.

This series is so fantastic. Thank you so much for your work. I am a new seeker in Los Angeles, California and have gotten so much out of these talks. This one, especially, was incredibly inspiring and thought provoking. Perhaps I am getting too far ahead of myself in my journey into Freemasonry - I've just met the Lodge nearest me - but this is clarifying what I can hope to achieve with this sacred and noble work. The people in these comments really go to show why sacred Hermetic knowledge was kept secret within these organizations for thousands of years. With so few ears of understanding, the lips of wisdom must feel quite content in their own company. Very frustrating to see others' lack of vision, wether due to their own intellectual limitations or a lifetime of deception.

AND I DID HAVE a SCOTTISH MASONIC lawyer who WON MY CASE (SETTLEMENT) LARRY HOLLINGTON. *PROBABLY the REASON it's taking SO LONG!!! 10 YEARS since the SETTLED but 15 YEARS since the ACTUAL INCIDENT!!!

You start off with a prayer to your god and then talk about mention of religious things is not allowed hmm
I once read a masonic bible & it was twisted, like good was evil & evil was good. Got a terrible feeling & didn't want to keep reading, I wasn't supposed to have touched it anyway... All i will say is beware!! Only the highest levels know the truth of the rituals, but as they know, once you're in too deep (figuratively & literally) you're likely to stay in the brotherhood. Wonder if this will get deleted

I would have played the 3 , given them a false sign then exposed them for life is worth more than gold , some say Solomon had him murdered.
His death is part of the symbolism. I'm sure if he wanted to leave the temple alive, he would have been able to do it
