- Yesterday, Spanish police revealed they’d found human remains as part of their search for the British Teenager, Jay Slater who went missing almost a month ago in Tenerife. After the Spanish authorities had to lie and say they called off the search two weeks ago in a bid to rid curious onlookers, our panel will be reacting to these latest developments and opening up on their worries of letting their children go away for the first time alone.

They never stopped searching. I absolutely feel the Civil Guards and all the resources on that island are top notch. They are used to doing rescue's in that terrain.

Newslash: just because someone didn’t uphold perfect morality doesn’t mean that their death isn’t tragic, especially when we’re talking about a 19 year old. What is the point of this comment? There’s a grieving family out there but you only see the opportunity to flaunt your moral superiority? Doesn’t bode well for your character either so who are you to talk?
As much as I appreciate you bringing up my nephews past 😒 we as a family have lost a child. Please just continue to live your perfect life though.
Condolences to the family and friends of Jay. Just one thing buggy me why would anyone leave their friend behind on a holiday I mean he was only 19 out on a holiday you just wouldn't leave a friend be hind how ever good or bad younger be .I don't understand. rip❤❤
I'm sorry but none of this adds up. Questions need to be answered ⁉️ also the fact none of the dogs picked up on the scent is not making sense and also the whole neighbourhood was disturbed just hours before jay was found. That doesn't make any sense what so ever. 🥺🥺

The Dutch team landed in Tenerife on the same morning they found him. I understand why this may seem suspicious, I assure it is just a coincidence. Throughout this whole case I wrestled with the heartbreaking thought that Jays family and friends were having cope with all this without any support or communication from the Spanish police. When they found him as details started to emerge in the MSM, firstly it was reported that the family had support from a missing persons group and secondly it emerged who had found him. From these two pieces of information a came up with a bit of a positive conspiracy, actually one is now fact tbf, firstly they had the support they so desperately needed and secondly, this is the speculative part, i started to think you know perhaps the Spanish police did start keeping them informed in the end, if you remember Warren, Jays Dad had changed search location without any logical explanation for doing so and it did seem to take a long time for expert boots on the ground to arrive. Based on these two facts, I’d like to believe that the family were told of the continued discrete search for Jay and maybe the Dutch team were called in out of frustration for how long their search was taking. Now here’s a narrative that takes away from all the negative ones don’t you think. Don’t have to sensationalise to have a good conspiracy theory ❤

His mum said he'd been kidnapped, his mate said he'd stolen a Rolex, he was obviously on drugs and he went off with a convicted drug dealer.
Then he decided to walk 11 hours through mountains rather than wait 90 minutes for a bus!

Imagine being so detached from reality that you buy into conspiracies. This case is simple, despite what “people” who’ve never met him say. He was a young guy at a festival who set off dehydrated in terrain he wasn’t used to. He wasn’t dressed for a hike. Mentally prepared and hydrated for a hike. A freak accident. What actual evidence is there to say otherwise? Text confirm he was lost, dehydrated and not equipped for where he was. It’s not a reach to say he simply fell.
