Not just the shows, but even the commercials bring back funny memories of childhood. It's great that someone thought to digitize and share these cultural time capsules. Thank you!
I can't stand even 1 minute of modern commercials, but I can sit here and watch hours of old commercials on CZcams.
Fa Sho Fam!
Even the commercials are awesome! I was 11,eating a bowl of Honeycomb cereal while watching this as a kid....great memories!
I loved watching the old commercials and the episodes of In The News.
We'll wasn't born yet for one year, Mone, right here on WBBM TV Chicago.
Me 2
Sure brings back some good memories when I was a kid.
I was 10 years old back then still remember those Cartoons
You've got the coolest YT channel for a 40 something to transport back in the time machine. Thanks for the memories, whoever you are.
Ahhh the late 70s and 80s had an explosion of cartoons, toys and sugary cereals that I remember very fondly. Didn’t want to get out of bed early during the week for school but every Saturday morning I was up at 7am with a bowl of my favorite cereal eagerly watching cartoons all morning
Christmas time was even better
Such simpler times. No internet or social media. Toys and outdoor play were what we had. Ugh now I’m in my 50s and long for those days 😊
I was born in 87 so this is before my time but I wish I was born earlier so I could've enjoyed these shows
But you can enjoy it all now! Glad to have you with us right now. Indeed!
The late great John Stephenson.....I really miss that Mr.Slate's voice
32:03 I used to have the Darth Vader collection case back in the day.
I did, as well!
I remember when the new Saturday morning cartoons were a big deal. Every fall they would have a special the Friday night before to preview them.
I remember all these cartoons and commercials, thanks for posting.
Some of my favorites 💯👍💙
Time stamped 9:35am (10-8-23)
one of the few times i liked the CBS line up ........after the mid 80s I was an NBC kid with the occasional ABC foray when iwas tired of the reruns
As a 3 year old it was mostly the CBS & ABC cartoons I would watch. The NBC cartoons I started watching around 4 or 5 by watching the Smurfs & The Shirt Tales
As soon as Kwicky Koala started...i cried and cried. I never thought....
Thank you for bringing my child hood bk great memories floodng back 👍🏼💯💯
Mone, you're a legend for doing this for us!
thanks
On some affiliates, Saturday Morning turned to Saturday Afternoon Cartoons as it ran to 2pm ET.
Friday night fall line up. Great memories
Thanx Mone Media 4 the childhood memories
Thanks for posting this! Now my Saturday mornings can be back to what it used to be! Keep up the great work!
Nice to know my childhood wasn't canceled even if I have been...thanks man
Glad to help
I love all your cartoons videos! Could you possibly do a Halloween special with commercials with The Halloween Tree?
Yup
I remember this day I was 8 😂
✊🏽👊; I just turned 5 😁😁
I remember all of the commercials.
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer 🦁 🎞️ 🎭 spoof logo @ 2:56:00.
The real MGM logo @ 2:27:57.
Talk about 2 rare 🐯 🦁 roaring lions in 1 video because I really like 👍 this video @ 2:27:58 & 2:56:02.
Anyway, happy Halloween!
I will be watching this on Saturday morning with my two youngest kids. I’m going to pour a big bowl of sugar-ridden goodness as part of a balanced breakfast and relive some of the happier times of my childhood. My two youngest kids love the following oldies but goodies: G.I Joe, C.O.P.S, Dungeons & Dragons, Jem & the Holograms, Bravestarr. I believe that I’m raising them up right.
I would love to see the Fox fall 1992 to fall 1993 airings with Alvin and the Chipmunks reruns on it.
Gosh, I love old-school cartoons with the music and all that; they were even good in spite of the 1980 writer's strike; Drak Pack wasn't effected by this because it was an Australian HB Production/Southern Star Productions; pre CBS Storybreak and Teen Wolf days 🤔 😉😉
Scotish at Internet Archive uploaded more *Trollkins* episodes last November, to an account there! It's not the whole series, but some of them haven't been uploaded to YT yet, as far as I know...
I just found out about it, today!
Thank you.
I felt sorry for Northwestern back in the days. That was before I realized that they get the same $$$$ millions as the top schools in their conference. I think it was the same back then.
Just donated with ❤️ and 🙏 from 🇨🇦
Appreciate that. Thank u
I always love your lineups! keep at it! have you ever thought of doing other formatted lineups? like a weekday game show lineup, a soap lineup, a specials lineup, something like that. heck, a regional or local channel lineup would be fun.
yes, heavy copyrighted stuff, makes it tough to do.
1981 I would be watching this with a hangover! 🤭🤢
I was 8, old man...😂😅😮😢😅😂
😊watching this now
Very satisfying 😂😂😂
If you look real good at Howler, he kinda reminds you of Wolfie from the Groovie Goolies with the Yellow shirt on and the reddish brown fur 🤔
I joined the Patreon ! Thanks for the great content. Advertise the new Patreon price so peeps know. God bless
Thanks Willy💯
oh man! this is FUN!!!!
Toady Toady Toad; not to be confused with Toni Toni Tone; feels good nevertheless 😉😉
Less known fact about BlackStar: Filmation was going to have BlackStar as an Afro American Collective but it was turned to a Tanned Black haired "white" guy; IMHO, BlackStar could have been a Quadroon (.25 Afro American Collective Ancestry) and I think they were looking to make a compromise somehow; his features would be more profound if he were suggestively Biracial (could have been; ya never know), but Quadroon makes more sense 🤔
*Trollkins* "Bermuda Trollangle," 33:09.

The 80s was the complete downfall of the cartoon age. Complaints of the violence and severe editing of the great Warner brothers cartoons
