You're doing the good Lord's work Mone! I was 10/11 years old growing up on Chicago's west side with my mom, brothers and sister's. Like so many others have stated, we didn't have cable tv. But here in Chicago, there was a UHF channel either 50 or 66 that played music videos all day long from the morning to late evening hours. Then there came Friday Night Videos which was an event to be seen even on a hot Friday night. I was aware of MTV. But with Music Video 50 here in Chicago and Friday Night Videos, I didn't feel I needed MTV. My mom finally got cable in the summer of 1987, but I wasn't looking for MTV. Instead I discovered films like The Lost Boys, Predator, Dirty Dancing, La Bamba and Making Mr. Right. Thanks 4 the great footage and memories and keep em' coming!

Sting is one of my all-time favorites and one of the best ever. he always comes back because he's a great singer-songwriter, but The Police seems to be a New Wave background.it's over.

all those toys going for bank now and I just played the crap out of them.

I was OBSESSED with most of these cartoons, especially Kidd Video. Thanks for pulling this together. I watched while making Sunday brunch and sipping mimosas. Being a middle-aged adult is awesome sometimes.

Anyone else getting super sad watching this? The nostalgia hurts. Simpler, better days..... and I would do anything to just go back.

Great memories of such simpler times. I was 7 in 1969. Remember almost all these cartoons. Loved Quisp and Quake and Kaboom. Had a million Hot Wheels and miles of track . Even had those. Banana Split hand puppets .

The early and mid 80 's were a great time to be a kid. Especially in 1985 l was 12 and first started watching robotech while l was in middle school. Robotech had a nastalgiaic and somewhat of a reassaiance about. I go to middle school and it was always in my head. The music characters just had feeling about it. The childhood memories and love for this show will always be there. Life was simple and peaceful back then compared to today's world. There will never ever be a great decade like the eighties. Thanks for posting and reliving and seeing my childhood from robotech to he man, transformers, gi joe and Voltron.

I was only 4 in 84, but I miss every day of the 80s😢. So many great childhood memories. I was lucky enough to have cable back then, but only because my mom was a single mother and my gma got it for us. I didn’t have a dad or grandpa growing up, but my grandma made up for it! She was a mother, father, gma, gpa, etc….she made my 80s even better, and is still with me today! God Blessed me in so many ways! Take me back🥲

Pretty sure I watched this episode. Friday nights were my only free night and once home at 8:30 pm zoned out in front of the TV till midnight. Thought Friday Night Videos ended sometime in the late 80's not 2002!
