  • Approach and landing into Peachtree KPDK 21L in April 2023 flying a Cessna 310. Forward view only available for this flight. My apologies for limited video as old equipment failed again. Have newer equipment since then. Anyway, posting for those interested in flying around Atlanta. Enjoy!!

Thanks for wonderful flight and sights brought.
Would you also kindly enlighten on why you weren’t able to fly directly in straight line to KPDK (as would be assumed for GA) but opted to fly it appears on a route - on established airways, as Airliners do.
    Thanks for the insights.

Commercial traffic (Delta, United, etc) have established routes of flight into and out of busy airports. These airways and the related airspace are designated on charts and procedures called ARRIVALS, SIDS and STARS. All other traffic is routed by ATC (not by choice) to not conflict with these established routes. The route flown was dictated by ATC not by choice. Hope this helps. simpleflying.com/sids-stars/

@@billinga Oh, thanks for the enlightenment, cool appreciated. The need for vectoring around busy Airports from ATC as opposed to direct route, makes sense now #Thankful

Nice flight and great editing job! I know what I like when I see it but I struggle to copy it. I like the layover gauges, what app or camera does that?

Pete, I use Telemetry app to apply GPS data. Not too expensive but time consuming. Thanks for watching. Stay safe!!

BTW, that was a hot landing, used only flaps 15 and not full flaps for better control on longer runway with wind gusts. Thanks for watching!!
