He wouldn't even have to be his firstborn son, the "emperor gene" would exist in almost everyone by that point even if it was recessive. Just waiting for a strong enough individual for it to manifest . Maybe that's one of the reasons for psykers becoming as prevalent as they are in the setting, enough of the gene mixed up in the gene pool creating sporadic cases of psychic power with varying strength.

A book series who's protagonist is a sensei could be an excellent story spanning many novels and story archs. I think it would be most interesting to see a character whom they and us don't know they are a sensei. Perhaps their estranged parents are sensei and this is never revealed to him in life. This allows him to be like a grandson of the Emperor but still a sensei, and he learns this the hard way. Where we see them grow as a lowly Imperial Citizen into greater roles, like Ibram Gaunt going from a Commissar to Lord Executor . He could walk the line between light and dark as his latent psyker abilities become more pronounced. His great ability and potential as a [grand]son of the Emperor would peak the interest of other factions. Namely the Inquisition, if he isn't taken by the Blackships then he could join an Inquisitor's retinue eventually becoming an Interrogator and Inquisitor himself. If he remains an unsanctioned psyker of great power, then criminal factions would take interest in him too. If other learn of his nature other factions like the Inquisition would want him for the Starchild and to resurrect the Emperor. Or, Heretics and the Ecclesiarchy for his genelineage. It would be interesting to see this man, born post-Horus Heresy, learn of his relation to the God-Emperor. But, ultimately they better pick another better name for the Sensei, because its just cringe to call them that for me. Most Perturbatory.

When there’s a million mediocre artists charging absurd prices to make art, there’s no other option. Either A: Steal art from google search. B: Take art from google and spend an extra 4 weeks individually asking each artist for permission crediting each and every one. C: Pay a ludicrous amount of money to mediocre artists. D: Pay an absolutely insane amount of money to decent artists, or E: Use an AI that’s arguably mostly original. Unless an artist is making masterworks, their art will never have enough value to make it profitable or justify the costs to make it profitable. And those making masterworks will charge more than 99% of people can afford. AI is the future of 90% of concept art, that’s just how it’s going to be. Artists will have to adapt to find the niches where people are willing to fork the cache for the human touch.

Although it's never been outright retconned, I'm pretty sure the Sensei have now been superseded by the Perpetuals which borrows a lot of their lore.
