- We finally tackled transforming our fireplace! We've been living here almost 7 years and have HATED the fireplace since we moved in, but it was intimidating to make final decisions. We're SO happy with the final outcome, and it was surprisingly super easy! We also added a mantle because what fireplace is complete without one?!

What type of paint did you use? Also was it Matte or semi gloss? Thank you ahead of
time 💗
We just used regular latex paint, but be sure to use a primer before so it adheres! Latex can handle up 180 degrees, we don’t use our fireplace because we’re in New Orleans where it doesn’t get cold - lol. But they do have high heat paints also!
