Like Voivod and astronomy Domine? I hear you. if someone's going to cover a song it's got to be done better than the original or at least just as good and the Wrathchild version is really just a note for note cover with a little extra chugginess. it was done perfectly.
@@YeOldeThrashDude Certainly the Voivod cover is a standout. Shadows Fall did a pretty good cover. Honestly don't particularly care for Floyd at all, but I've tolerated their music more when it was done by artists I do enjoy listening to.
@@thrashnbash314 Ha! Yeah, I get that. Call it a gateway drug. I got into Floyd because of covers like this. I'm no Floyd fanatic, though Animals is a standout classic I discovered later in life. And I have to credit DG's playing as being instrumental in my musical development in my formative years. Even before I played. Great leads!
Bless you, man! I could barely feel my thumb, index, and middle fingers by the end of this. Going to take a little break from electric for a bit. Hitting Nylon for 20 minutes a day just to keep the fingers fresh, but I've got to get this nerve thing under control.
