Replacing a carburetor on Peugeot Elystar 2 stroke 49cc 2005.

- The screw that controls the idle fell out for some reason and this thing stopped starting. So I got another carburetor for it. After I replaced the carburetor it started and was running good. But later that miss came back and then it completely died and wouldn't start again. So I don't know whats wrong with it. Didn't film the carburetor installation process because it's the opposite of removal. And I wanted to film more. But I didn't fell like filming anything else when this thing stopped working.

Was this carburetor better than the original? Did it accelerate faster and have more top speed or the same as the original?❤
I have the same scooter, only mine is not running very well. When I got it all the tubes were cut. I largely figured out how they sat. But I don't know if I should put a hose on port under the shoke (at the float chamber right behind). On your video it looks like small hose attached to this port, Is this breather port??
This port on my scooter is leaking a lot of fuel at that port, should I redirect back to gas tank?
Be the way do you own a workshop moddel of this scooter I would love to have one myself.

i have a 2006 speedfigth 2 and im taking the carb off. but i was wondering where that yellow-ish plastic line goes to, its not connected to anything on my scooter. plz help!
That's the oil line. It connects to the litle electric oil pump.
Also it can be off. But then you have to mix the oil with gas and pour it in your gas tank. Maybe your pump dosent work if it' desconnected.

It’s a little bit difrent then on the original. But you should see it at the front of the carb

Salut j'ai change mon carburateur d origine gurtner de 12. Par le même que tu fais voir en diamètre 16. A tu des problème avec car j'ai des troue a l accélération et moi de pêche. Je trouve pas le problème . Merci

How long did it work before it stopped ?
jordan Bayliss It has over 30000 on it now so It work for a long time. Right now it doesn't have spark anymore so it won't start.
Mega2012ification how long did it work after you put new carb on thanks
jordan Bayliss I ended up taken the screw that was mising out of the new carb and putting it into the old carb and using the old one. The float failed on this new one very quickly, because it was jus a chines made copy.

joshua adam I tried a few times to make a video with commentary, but it always sounds kinda weird. The fact is that I am from Lithuania and my English dialect is not the best. I might give another try and see how it sounds and upload one to CZcams.
I can see that oil connection pipe locations are different between chinese and original carb.
It's been years since I done this and I don't have this scoter anymore so I can't remember. All I remember is that this Chinese carb didn't last long and I ended up using it's parts to make the original one working again. But it was pretty cheap so I guess it was worth it and in the end it was good for something at least.

Your missing your air mixture screw
I know. Thats why I replaced it. It was just cheaper to buy the whole carb
