Ma’am! There are a million creators showing people how to eat well affordably. Your viewers tune in to see YOU! You ‘babble’ all you want, darlin. We’re here for it. 💕
It’s so true! I watch for Brooke, her great attitude and her adorable sons! I can’t even eat a lot of these ingredients, but I love the sentiment. 😂
@@viviannichols3582 I LOVE when her youngest falls over after he tastes her things… if I had kids, I’d think of that as huge praise… she’s so nice and down to earth…. The kind of person you’d want to be friends with. I love her personality too. Her kids and hubby are too…
Absolutely ❤
I'm here for the "told yuns"... The more she 'babbles' the better I like it.
We love our Babbling Brooke! Don’t ever sensor yourself for the fear you might annoy anyone. Your energy is too fun to dampen in any way.
I agree!!
It could be a new series where she just talks about life in general. I would be here for that!
We need a tshirt that says Babbling Brooke and a picture of her standing beside an actual brook on it❤.
Well thank you! Lol
@@tinashort9098I want one lol
May I say sincerely, you are one if the greatesr home cooks that I have ever known. Just two days ago I was un Albertsons and I ran into two young girls in theirearly twenties and they were having a very hard time getting groceries on their budget of $50.00 a week for the tei of them. I got to takkung to them and suggested your fabulous chanbel and tgey wanted to hear everything I had to say. I'm 73 and were so eager to hear any suggestions that I had. First I told them about you chanbel on CZcams. They were so excited and planned to use your recipes for thenselves. I don't think people know how many oeople struggle to stretch theur dollars to make their meaks. They felt more relaxed after I told them about your channel. You are truly a gift to so many people. How can we ever thank you enough? You are the #1 food channel in my book. Thank you so very much for showing us everything we need to make great meaks in a budget God Bless you and your husband and sweet boys!! Sincerely, Debbie and Dexter-Dog my sweet tiny rescued Chihuahua companion living a quiet crafty life in southern California. 🙋🐾🧑🦽🏡🇺🇸🌻⛄😄🎠🏠🙏💕😍🎄🌻✝️
I am 70 years old and just now getting to like cooking ,all because of you.❤
Yummy tomato soup! Mom made that stroganoff too!
Food shamers: please stop. When the pantry is bare, a box works wonders and like Brooke says: fed is best. Folks who are struggling need encouragement, not criticism. Let’s do it! “be positive, be kind, be happy and let others be happy” 💖
Great video, Brooke! 💖
I agree. I drove past fairgrounds on way to work and line fir find boxes was deep.
Nobody should go hungry bc of naysayers.
Good job girl 😊
To be honest, I'd gladly eat all of the food she makes on her channel. I am not picky at all, and the plates she shows are decent. Mean people are everywhere unfortunately. I feel so sad when I hear about her being criticized. This channel is not an instagram foodie blog for bored teens. Her channel is a lot more than that. ❤
Thankyou for sharing.
I agree, I volunteer and receive food at food pantries, they want ppl to come take stuff or they end up throwing so so much away, I've seen it while volunteering. Even if you're normally fine financially, if you're a bit short one week, etc utilize them. They want ppl to do so!
Grew up poor too. Recognize your vision of stretching a dollar. Fought my way thru nursing school and now I think I am rich in comparison to my upbringing. But I still make broth from every bone, and think my bag of flour is a guarantee against ever being hungry. You make me proud of basic American values. Subscribed today!
I love your $5 meals. I'm alone so I get 6-8 meals out of each one!! Really helps me eat well and stay in budget. Thanks so much for all you do! 🇺🇸🦅❤
Same here. It is amazing how far you can stretch Brooke's $5 meals. Diane.
+1 here. Love, 💕, LOVE these!! Inflation is a killer but Brooke to the rescue!!Tyvvm ma'am!!
Me too.
Same here! Thank you so much for helping us single living individuals stay on a budget with great food options. 😊❤
Same here. I cook for just me normally so I use leftovers to take to work. I'm starting to freeze some as well for those nights I don't feel like cooking.
I have used your channel as a way to cut back on costs for our small family for awhile now.. But now I’m diving back into all that you share due to my husband suddenly losing his job. We are in a tough spot, but I am embracing the lessons in this time!
Thank you for your kind heart and doing what you do!! 💕
I hope your husband finds work soon! It’s so scary to lose a job! Been there! I’m so glad that Brooke shares so many tricks and tips! It’s such a blessing to have someone taking time to help folks in a tight spot! Bless you and your family! ❤
I truly hope your husband finds a job. I too have lost my job and watching every penny. It hard to look for a job when you don’t have one, the best thing you can do for you husband is just be there for him, he is probably feeling ashamed and sacred, and the same time being brave for the family. Praying helps! God bless you and your family! ❤
The young fellow who tasted the tomato soup and cheese sandwich...I LOVE his expressions. He is so proud of his Momma.
I love all 3 of those boys but Brayden tickles me when he says, “oh, so good!” 😂
2:28 love that combo …I made that for a meal for my church missionaries.
Instead of tossing the drained liquid from the chicken, use it for a portion of the water called for on the mix box. Added flavor. 👍🏼
People who complain about scratch aren’t aware of their privilege. Sure some may struggle in a category but they aren’t in multiple like some of us.
Such as: cost, time, proper space, support, & mental health all play roles.
Will you please pray for me as soon as possible 🙏🙏🙏🙏 I need a healing touch from Jesus ❤. Thank you in advance for your prayers 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Heavenly Father you know the need. I pray you grant healing, peace, wisdom, and comfort. In Jesus Name Amen 🙏

Prayers going 🙏 ❤❤❤
Praying for you!

People of CZcams please don't be mean! Brooke is so right! Fed is best ❤I do think if you are hungry, everything is good enough to eat! If you can't say anything nice, please be quiet. By the way, all the people who is whining about boxed food, I hope you never ever had a chips, gummy bears, and Pringles, never ate at a fast food place, I also hope you all bake your own bread as well, etc... Don't be hypocritical please. Brook is a lovely woman with the best intentions, and we all love her for that! And yes, we all love her plus up boxed meals! Go Brooke you are the best!🥰❤
I am 63 and in my 30's when I had some hard times, I did exactly what you said. I made meals around boxes of Knorr rice or Pasta roni because you could get them for 79 cents, and then I would add fresh vegetables and inexpensive meats to make my unique meals. The boxes come with all the seasonings so It's easier and cheaper than buying all the spices. You are doing a wonderful job teaching frugality.😊 I also use 2 slices of cheese, because...yum.
I know I just commented but I have to say I'm single and recommend your channel to my single friends.
When I buy those tomatoes with the stems on them I pull off the stem part for 2 reasons.
1. I want to make sure the tomatoes I get are firm and not mushy. Very seldom are they all good quality.
2. Those stems add weight to those tomatoes that I don’t want to pay for.
Thank you for your tips. I’ve never thought about the stems adding weight.
This week I'm moving to two $5 meals. Thanks for your videos.
I've never been a fan of tomato soup in a can, but homemade is another story. Yours looks so good, I want to try it tonight! I saw a video recently where they roasted the tomatoes, onions and garlic before making the soup and that sounds really good, too. I figured you'd be a fan because you're always talking about the Maillard reaction and educating viewers on the importance of browning your food. I am loving these videos.
Roasted tomato soup is really good. You can cut up everything: onion, garlic, tomatoes and drizzle with olive oil and roast in the oven. I like to roast mine low and slow. Yum
I love your tips and recipes! I grew up poor, so I’m well acquainted with making meals on the cheap! My ex husband never understood that. Guess that’s why he’s an ex. 🤷🏻♀️
We grew up very poor. We value recipes and know the value of a dollar. Good job. Keep cookin'😅
Inside out buns for grilled cheese is genius!
I hit my Aldi this week for the first time in a while, and was happy to see lower prices on quite a few things. My Publix trip I spent $42 and saved $27 because I had mostly bogo and clearance items. I don't eat meat so can't speak to that, but my grocery bills have been reasonable for everything except cat food. The little moochers eat a lot.
So proud of you and your great recipes, I’m 56 years old and have kind of lost my fervor for creating in the kitchen due to serious back pain. I’ve been making a lot of these types of recooked for the deliciousness and simplicity. My husband really likes the new inspired dishes, and that’s what I live for!
@@sonyafox3271 like from cans or boxes…they’re usually precooked.
the pasta roni dish looks bomb. Roni company should sponsor you for this one. I used to call it rice a joanie because my little sister is Joanie and she loves rice.
I love how your kids are so food adventurous. My husband won't even eat tomatoes and zucchini, which I love! I enjoy your cooking videos for ideas. We are economizing on our groceries and trying to eat what's on hand. You help me feel brave to try different combinations. Our freezer is full of meat, so that part is easy. But with a husband that is anti-veg except for corn and green beans, it can be a challenge.
I understand and feel your pain. Between my husband and my kids all I can usually cook with is corn or green beans. And even then I get complaints.
@@penelopegrier5073 yep,similar situation.
I can’t remember what platform but I saw a comment saying to peel, grate,&squeeze zucchini to add in sloppy joes. It’s been amazing.
I’ve also saw to add grated carrots and:or finely diced mushrooms into taco meat. They don’t notice & if they do I just say I added onion seasoning or something lol.
@@momentsformoms9467 I had a colorful Halloween. Added carrots and sweet potatoes to my mashed potatoes to make it orange, blended broccoli in with my Alfredo along with some green food coloring, and added avocado to my deviled eggs after doing the eggs purple. Everyone saw my food coloring out and didn’t even ask questions.
Sometimes I add beans to my meal if I run out of veggies, just for the extra fiber and vitamins.
Just add a little, especially if your people aren't used to having a lot, or you get a lot of gas. If you stomach isn't used to it, small amounts at first.
Lentils cook quickly and you can put the excess in the freezer, just freeze in small batches. If nothing else, rice and beans is easy to make as a side or main dish.
I just cut stuff big enough that the fussy ones can pick it out.
My kid eats everything but it’s still nice to see the kids’ opinions. “Kid tested, mom approved!” 😂 my daughter has always been my taste tester!
Another thing you can add to thr last one is either hashbrowns or just some cubed potatoes. So good.
I'm adding hash browns need heavy meals for my family. Thanks!
Thank you bestie. We need these more than ever now. I'm sitting at the hospital while my husband is having surgery for a bad break in his leg. Money is going to be tight for sure for the next few months. ❤️☮️
Prayers for you. 🙏
Thinking about him. Sending prayers for quick healing.
@@gailcroslin1647 thank you!! ❤️
Late to the game, it's the next day, but I hope that the surgery went well and that he is on his way to a full recovery!
@@jengarding5501 thank you so much!! Yes, he's home and safe. He will be off work for 3 months, but it could have been so much worse. We are blessed ❤️☮️
Wow..never really thought about it, but didn't know tomato soup was so easy 😊
And way more delicious than canned.
WAYYYY back when I was in highschool, they still offered home ec class that was mandatory. One thing we made was beef stroganoff. Egg noodles, 2 cream of mushroom soup, burger and sour cream. . A lot like yours except the milk and gravy. I still make this many years later.
Brooke, keep making the videos how you do. That’s your personality and that’s why we are watching your videos.
There's only 2 of us in my family, so I just cut the recipes in half and save 50%. We spend the rest on veg. Husband is diabetic, so I gotta keep him healthy! Love the simplicity of your recipes. Anything over 6 ingredients is aaaaakkkkkkk!
I’m old enough to be your mom and I just love your positivity!
Hey Brooke! We feel like your family is our family too! We literally have you guys on our TV in our family room everytime we are watching TV because we are watching ALL of your videos from the beginning 😊 love watching the boys growing up! Thank you for all the time and effort you give to us! I've got a Frugal challenge for ya! Could you please please please do a $300 dollar budget for a week's worth of meals where each meal includes ALL five food groups, INCLUDING 2 SNACKS PER DAY AND dessert for after supper? I recently lost a significant amount of our family's grocery budget every month and I'd LOVE to see what you can do with the money I have to work with every week. PLEASE HELP?
$300 for a week?
@@GM-jv9jz yesum! 2 adults and 12 kids ages 1 - 16
@@sonyafox3271 Ah ok. So you are also feeding a family of 14 on one person's salary too? LMAO! Great way to be positive and kind without passing judgement TROLL.
I love using the packs of rice sides and pasta sides to stretch the budget too. No shame in doing so. It’s good and it’s cheaper. Loved this video!❤
I typed in $20 grocery list and was led to your older video. I went out and bought the same list..hotdogs, onion, noodles, sauce etc. I haven't done anything so fun in awhile as write list, price check it online and in store to see how prices compared from the years since the video was made.
I made a vegetarian Shepard's Pie tonight on our last with the rest of the onion coated in the jiffy mix and the inside was the noodles and sauce. I followed most of the things you made and tonight that one just came to me. You have a good channel.
As always, thanks for a bunch of recipes that look delicious! The Pasta Roni with Zucchini recipe looks so good that I drove to Walmart this afternoon to buy 2 boxes of Pasta Roni! I just happen to have leftover chicken, so this recipe would be perfect.
I just love you, Brooke! Your light shines and your joy is infectious Delicious meals. Everyone needs to save. Just because you can afford it doesn't mean you cannot save. In this economy, it could be you next. You never know. Have a great day and be blessed always, my Southerland Squad! xoxo
I made the breakfast casserole last night, used sausage cause that’s what I had and added cheese. It was delicious! Will be a regular rotation for us.
Brooke, Brooke babble on! Love your energy! And meals. I also have to say, your boys are such respectful young men. Love their responses to the taste tests. You and Dusty are raising wonderful young men! Oh, and the naysayers, when you are hungry, on a budget or visiting food banks to feed your family, boxed foods is what you are going to get. Enhance them....add veggies.
Love your ideas!!
I made orange chicken, used the breast from whole chicken $1.66, got 3 meals from the chicken. Used flour and egg and cornstarch for coating on chicken before frying. Sauce was 2 tbsp soy sauce, sugar, garlic, vinegar, OJ. Cooked 1 1/2 cups rice. Had a salad got shredded lettuce, (whole bag for $0.99, used less that 1/3, 1 tomato,
$0.34, very little shredded cheese 🧀 $0.25, 2Eggs boiled $0.15, made my own 1000 island dressing, with Mayo, ketchup,1 tsp
relish.) this was plenty for 2 people.
Less than $5
I like to challenge myself for great meals at lower prices
I have that same cutting board. I've had it for several years. Like so many I can't remember where I got it. I love it. It cleans up so nice.
I just wanted to let you know that I made the inside out grilled cheeses for our church's soup kitchen we have every week. I had received a block of government cheese and used that with Aldi buns. everyone loved the idea and a lady even donated some homemade tomato jam and that made them even better. Thank you for the idea!
I made the gravy and biscuit casserole for dinner tonight. I made it with Jimmy Dean crumbles instead of the bacon bits and I added cheese. It was a hit! No complaints or suggestions (which ALWAYS happens 🙄😐🤣). I will definitely make this again.
I just love you. Your comforting voice and encouragement are CZcams gold. ❤
I love the way you pepper your stuff. Sometimes people don't love pepper, but I do and I'm happy to see other people do too!
Thank you so much for giving of your time. The recipes are great.I have to adjust for one, since it's only me. You save me a lot of money being on Social Security. Things are sooo outrageous. God bless you and your family.
Brooke, you're my favorite cooking channel. You make "normal" food interesting and I love how you get your family involved with taste testing, shopping, etc . 😊
I love the conversation you have with ‘us’ and your tasters are the sweetest.
Love your videos. Keep on talking, Brook. Let your personality shine.
I love watching your videos for budget grocery and cooking tips, but what I especially love is your positive attitude and humor, and the way you love and nurture your family! Your videos always cheer me up.
I enjoy your channel especially these low cost meals. Such great ideas. Beautiful family.
I love and appreciate how you talk during your cooking. You are definitely the definition of home. Growing up with a mother who gave us ketchup and spaghetti most of the time I never learned how to cook or to have a relationship like this. I appreciate you alot. Thank you.
My dad was a Driving 🚗 school teacher, so God helped us survive the 1970's!
I absolutely ❤ your vintage countertops and cabinets. Super cool! Thanks for the helpful tips for quick, cheap and delicious dinners.
Like the house I grew up in. Old fashion know how. To make do. No complaining😅
Love you, Brooke. So when I use brown, the turkey, I add a little W-sauce and beef bouillon powder. It makes the turkey taste more like beef.
I love how you say “a peench of pepper.”
I've never seen inside out grilled cheese! I always have left over buns. I'm soooo going to try this!
I made tonight your croissant, chicken green chilli dish. I made a double batch. It was gone, it rocked. Had so much flavor and simple. Ty. I really like your personality with your meal preps you share. I like you because you keep me satisfied and focused on your easy meals.
I made the first recipe, but as a side so I didn't add the chicken. Your recipes inspire me to try stuff too. Agree about the "food shamers" some of us don't have the time or inclination to do it all from scratch. Thank you Brooke!
I am so glad I found your channel!! Love your videos!!
I love beef noodle stroganoff my kids love it I keep on forgetting to make it cause we had it lot growing up but my kids will eat it with rice an with noodles. My mom when we were poor we would pour the sauce over a pice of toast it was still yummy. I even remembered her doing a bake potato with a white sauce an sausage gravy mix over top of it that was also very yummy. Thank you for helping so many of us giving us so many ideas I just love watching your videos.
The one with the baked potato is one of my favorite childhood meals! If we didn't have sausage, we'd use Spam instead. Although Spam's getting a little pricey these days!
Proud to be one of your besties. I had found cans of Yams on clearance. I love me some Sweet Taters ! But decided to do something different and made Sweet Tater or Yam Pancakes yummmm. The can made alot so I will have some with breakfast, some with lunch, and some for several meals. Nice to take a known ingredient and do something different. You are an inspiration Brook thank you
Freeze some for you later😅
These were all great!! Reminds me of how I would cook when raising my family … now with a heart condition I must eat low sodium… so I’ll need to rework these to fit into my diet… sadly eating cheaply isn’t my priority… however I am still budget conscious … thank you for the inspiration!! Looking forward to homemade tomato soup and the beef stroganoff ….. 🤤
To lower the sodium in the stroganoff, maybe make your own “cream of mushroom” (butter, flour, milk, low sodium beef broth and mushrooms) and eliminate the packaged gravy. Mom used to make it and never used gravy. It tasted great. The beef broth in the home made cream of mushroom gave the beef gravy flavour. All the best with your healthy food journey.
I have to eat lower sodium too and it is so challenging!!
I love your "inside out" grilled cheese. Gotta try that one! Here's a budget-friendly meal we like - it's not for everyone, though - and that's bow tie pasta with sautéed sauerkraut, onions, and either kielbasa, hot dogs, chicken sausages, whatever is in the freezer. Sometimes I'll add a diced apple to it. It's a regular staple at my house.
German people do this. Very good and helps your stomach as well
You can add a little garlic and onion. Adjust to what you will like to add.
Great video Brooke!
I'm retired so have plenty of time. I'm going to make hubby that breakfast, with homemade gravy though. I'll be using up leftover Italian sausage though, but I bet hubby will love it. Ooh, I wonder if I chop some spinach up....
I do box mac n cheese w microwaved bacon bits. Canned green beans done. Kids love
I really like the homemade tomato soup idea - thank you!
‘Babbling Brooke’
I ❤ that so much!
Thanks brooke 😘 this has helped so much food prices in England 🇬🇧 are crazy🤪
I don't buy canned biscuits but I will just to make that casserole because I know we will love it. Home run on this video Brooke.
You do a wonderful job of creating yummy meals that cost a bare minimum that everyone can afford to make! Love 💕 that you have your husband and sons test the meals for
likeability! Your youngest one is truly a sketch! 💕😄💕😄💕
I know this is a 2 week old video but oh my gosh girl, you are one of the best people who provide a lot of tips and tricks for affordable shopping as well as recipes that actually are dee-lic-ous!!! That's saying something because my family of 3 are very picky when it comes to food. I made several dishes so far and not one dislike from my family. I am so blessed to have found you randomly because I have been watching and taking notes to be able to afford food now. My family has been hit hard with financial problems this last year and food is a tough budget to plan every month so it just helps so much with your videos when you talk about $5, $10, $15, etc budget meals. My family is living through that. You're a blessing for not just my family but others who come across your channel. Thank you so much and continue to be yourself because you always bring bright smiles when it is dark for the rest of us. PS I love your bubbly personality and don't stop babbling. You're so down to earth and bring so much. Don't sell yourself short. God bless you, your family, and everyone else struggling or not.
Love what u do. In Canada prices are triple but u still help me out
You are one smart cookie!!
I raised 3 boys and all I can say is yours do not look like they are lacking in the food department. LOL
I just found your channel a few days ago & I subscribed immediately! I love how down your earth you are & these recipes are so simple and cheap. You have no idea how much this helps! I’m going to make all 3 of these when I go grocery shopping. I just made your chicken casserole last night & it was so good! Thank you💜
I love all your videos but you know what I really wanna see? You not sticking to a limit. For one week you meal planning and shopping and cooking for your family with all your ideal perfect dream meals... your so creative and my family has loved all the ones I've tried!! And I completely understand needing the budget but I'd love to see a non budget just real almost cravings if you will week😊
I would have used the water off the canned chicken as part of the water I added with the pasta to add to the flavor. Good recipe.
I like how you think outside the box on the meals. Maybe those are just regular meals for your area. That's good to see new and different ideas because we all get in ruts fixing meals for our families. Goodness knows coming home from work and fixing supper we like the easier the better, and good and nutritional.
These recipes look very good and easy. Thank you, dear lady.
I love watching you. You make the best stuff on a budget and always give me great ideas.
Great idea to use beef gravy mix & tasteless turkey for the stroganoff. I'd actually eat turkey that way. 😊
I don't understand what you don't have 1mill subscribers yet?? Just wow. You're such a sweet lady, and your family as well. 🤗
Well thank you!
As Chef Anne Burell says " Brown food tastes good "😋😋
Keep up the great work Brooke, I think I am going to give the biscuits and gravy and egg dish a try with my own biscuits. Thank you as always
I love you so much because you are truly budget minded .
Other people I have followed that claimed to be budget meal minded have used super expensive cheeses and imported wines in the recipes , I no longer follow them 😅
Like you say you have to do what you have to do .
You and your family are truly amazing 😍.
The first meal looked delicious!! Only thing is I don’t like pasta so I’d switch it to rice ❤. I love zucchini though!!!! I’ve never made tomato soup!!! I’ve gotta try that and those grilled cheese sandwiches!!!!! Yummmmm!!! Love to Brooke and every single person here❤. I’m a breakfast for supper kinda girl so that last one is right up my alley!!!! Sorry for all the edits!!
Thank you for these awesome meals. Tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches was a cause for celebration. Canned tomato soup doesn’t taste the same as it did years ago. I’m excited to try this recipe!
I love a rice or pasta packet with a protein, it's fast and you can make it cheap depending on the protein!
lol...your little one cracks me up when he passes out cause mom's food is soo tasty!!!
I LOVE your countertops…my Granny and Grandpa had the same ones and it brings back the best memories of being in the kitchen with them ❤
For my grilled cheese sandwiches, I always sprinkle a little garlic salt on the bread when I make them. My grand kids LOVE it that way😁
And even cheaper if you have leftover meat to toss in the boxed pasta/rice with some veggie.
I nearly spammed your comments with each recipe!! 😂😂😂 I have 4 boys, a grandson and a husband. Meals have to be inexpensive and stretch! I work full time at a high school at our career development program so I teach kids how to live within their means not just find a job. Your meals are amazing!! In a perfect world we would all make enough to eat but I will share we have had to visit our local food pantry more than once in the recent months. Heading to join your groups. I am SO HAPPY I came across your page. ❤
Just returned from dollar tree shopping which you inspired this old lady to do - bought myself pantry staples and my son some ❤ I also bought all three of the bouillon jars from amazon- excellent flavor -husband said my roast was the best he had ever had ask what I did- used knorrs beef broth baby lol
I made the breakfast casserole the other night. There was none left at the end of dinner. I just found you about a month ago and have binge watched for some new recipes. I love your channel
Everything you make always looks delicious!! Thank you, Brooke!
I love the expressions your kids make they are so adorable😂
Well, these recipes are certainly not bad for that budget. Three of them have fresh veg' in, the last one looks tasty without & they all have some protein. If you had a little more money you could add a leek, or a few mushrooms to the last one. They certainly look like they would fill up the childrens hungry tummies. I would save money by not cooking the soup for so long to be honest & if I had a handful of red lentils I would throw them in to make it even more filling. (The energy prices are so bad in the U.K. now, we have to think twice before we turn anything on. Lots of us going without heating this winter.)
Ive used the boxed rice and pasta muxes for years as the base of quick meals. Add a protein and some veggies (fresh frozen or canned) and you have a meal! They are often on sale, so can be very budget friendly. The Hamburger, Tuna or Chicken Helpers can also be adapted. Add some extra pasta or rice (and more liquid accordingly), and some veggies, and you can stretch them! You can also vary the protein. Use ground turkey instead of beef, use canned or leftover chucken instead of tuna (I cant stand canned tuna so i ALWAYS did this) or maybe even some canned beans.
Found a cheap meal!😅
(Walmart items)
1lb hamburger about 5 bucks
2 cans kidney beans .82 each, 1 Chilli packet .74 cents & can Diced tomatoes .96 cents. Comes to about $8.34. Slow cook
Woo this is fun
Plz pray for our family, I’m having health issues with my feet and back and my husband cancer returned as aggressive. Ty
